Schooling is the reason early marriage don't work again.
It used to work all over the world in those days. In my earlier days of affiliate marketing I struggled a lot for leads.

I was wondering why a stranger would ask abt my Dad. But just after he seated he said something strange to me.

He said "there's an ancestral deity being worshipped in your extended family, you can ask from your Dad or call him now if you doubt me". He said it's been seven years since they last invoked its ritual worship. That they should go and do the ritual for my sake. That within months I will be blessed through it if it's done.
