Hello! Please I need advice. My name on my birth certificate and other documents is James Chika Johnson. James is my first name, Chika my second and Johnson my last name.

When I was registering for the JAMB UTME exams, a mistake was made in the order of my name and Chika was my first name and James my middle. I was like 16 then, and I didn't think it would matter.

Now, because JAMB would send the same name format to the schools during admission and all, I've been like that all these years.

I just received my certificate yesterday, and it bears Chika as my first name and James as my last.

My National ID card, Voters card and all other documents, including my SSCE results are James as my first and Chika as my last name.

This has never been a problem for me. In fact, during our Certificate Verification at school, the council did not bring up any issue because my name in the school was Chika James Johnson, but on my SSCE certificate was James Chika Johnson.

On the school notice board, there was a note that the Student would bear all responsibility for any error once they leave the issuing room if they don't point it out there. But this is not technically an error because I've been going through my university education with this name order. All my tests, exams, and registrations in school.

Please will this affect me later? Like during NYSC registration or something? What can I do?

Now I will be returning to Nigeria next week. For this 7 months, I kept myself and did not mess around(slept) with any woman.

Trust will always be an issue in every relationship

If you already informed your wife about your tradition and she accepts it even when she knows the consequences, there is no need to cause for alarm and no need to ask her

So I think you should just calm down your mind and don't ask a question that will trigger problems

If your tradition is effective, then the truth will come out without asking

What if you ask her, she picks offence and start using it against you, she will keep using it against you especially if she is innocent of your suspicions

So don't aks her let peace rain and let your tradition prove itself.

Good evening Nairalanders, few months ago I posted here regarding how my wife forced me into marriage that I wasn't in anyway ready for because she got pregnant. So I went to their family house this morning to console them. The eldest son of the family (her half brother) told me and another in law that we'd be the one to pay for mortuary expenses and casket, and when the burial is getting closer they'd give us a list of things to buy and we'd both bring one goats each.

To be brutally honest I wasn't mad because of this latest expense, I got furious immediately and right on the spot because of the pressure my wife pressured me into getting married to her, by now I'd have been totally free of these unnecessary expenses. More than 19 of her sisters, both biological and half sisters that has given birth, no single expense was listed for their man that they got pregnant for and has a child for. But I and the other in law that paid dowry are the one going through these unnecessary expenses.

So immediately he told me about everything, I charged at my wife right on the spot, right in front of her mom, her brothers, her sisters and some of her friends that came for condolence visit. I got so furious and started shouting at the top of my voice, I reminded her how she forced me into marriage that I'm not in anyway prepared and ready for, both physically, psychologically, emotionally, financially. (I have been reminding her regarding this almost on a daily basis and whenever we are quarreling.

I reminded her how she threatened me with suicide and our of fear of the unknown I wasted almost 4m in getting married to her. I told her that I'd have been free of these expenses if not for her pressure.

Immediately she burst into tears, and started crying endlessly.

Her mom and sisters started yelling at me and I yelled back at all of them. They told me I met her a Virgin and now she's no longer good for me (truly, the whole family thought that I was the one that took her virginity) My wife and I agreed to keep it a secret, but the constant remainder from her mom and sisters made me let the cat out of the bag, I told them that I didn't met her a Virgin that she has already started having sex when I met her, they didn't believe me but with my tone, I know they'd.

I also made mentioned that I'm not buying any goat or paying for mortuary or taking any list from them. That it's their dad and they should take care of every responsibilities, after all he has uncountable children, why putting some of the expense on me? I walked away, and switched off my phone until now that I'm just putting it on.

I know that I acted wrongly and allowed my anger to get the best part of me. But I was furious because no single bill went to her sister's baby father's, absolutely nothing was listed for them. I got furious because these expenses won't be on me right now if not for her pressuring me into marriage that I want ready for. I was furious because I and the other in law that they billed became the scape goat by doing the right thing by getting married and not leaving theirs daughter In ruins, where as those that got their daughter pregnant without getting married to them were totally free from these unnecessary bills. I'm in so much pains and regret right now.

A man in his early thirties, identified as Mr Onyiuke Nwedeogu, allegedly set himself ablaze in the early hours of Sunday after a minor altercation with his wife.

He then rushed back to his residence, forcibly removed the window protector where his wife and three children were, and set the building on fire with motor spirit, despite knowing the family was asleep in the early hours of the morning.

Another source revealed that after the altercation, the man took his belongings to their provision store, locked it, and left, only to return at night with a gallon of motor spirit and set the house on fire.

The source added that Mrs Felicia Nwedeogu and her three children were rescued through the same window where the husband had removed the protector when the fire had engulfed the entire building.

The man, after setting the building on fire, drove away in his bus to a location where one Elijah rushed him to Alex Ekwueme Federal Teaching Hospital (AE-FETHA), where he died on Wednesday.

The deceased’s body has been deposited at the AE-FETHA morgue, and it was further learned that the bereaved wife and children were rescued with only a wrapper and children’s pants.

When contacted, Ebonyi Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Joshua Ukandu, stated that the command had yet to receive the report at the time of this report.

These days I have been wondering how the dating pool has gone from bad to worse.

They started going back and forth of this booking issue. my friend got frustrated along the way , that was when i got to know about the story.

Good day everyone, please I really need your help. Since I was a child, I have never known peace from my mom. I am an only child and my dad died when I was very little. This forum have helped me to navigate some difficult situation especially on marriage, even though I still get bashed and insulted, I can tell that I still get genuine advice from matured and experienced people here. It's all about taking the wheat from the shaft.

This is a two way game, if you leave the children with her family, you have to go and make arrangements on what you will give who ever that will be with the child, bear in mind that, they will use the money for other things and not basically on the children and for your information, your woman doesn't care wether the relationship is scattered or intact

Am an introvert so this really hunt me more and more. It got to a time I feel within myself that it’s evil but I couldn’t talk to anybody about it because I was afraid even my parent couldn’t like me again so I kept it on the low.

I did everything possible to stop this addiction but all failed.

Sometimes I feel a strong energy around me, mostly when am alone and that’s the exact time I’ll start thinking about woman, and this caused me to love porn.


Honestly this hunts me amicably so I decided to have a girlfriend at age 18yrs thinking that will rather help me stop masturbating but it became worst, I even ended up being a womanizer, chasing girls everywhere.

Truth be told, my worst enemy now is Masturbation, I am 28yrs now with a woman and two handsome boys but ridiculously, I still masturbate, it’s eating me up and am getting depressed over this addiction.

Masturbation is reducing me, both physical and spiritually, I feel drained.

Everything is shutting down on me, and I have no one to talk to about this, am really scared my wife will get to know about this and right now things are getting out of hand.

Am facing a lot of trauma, my business isn’t moving anymore and I can’t stop Masturbating.

I can be having sex with my wife and still be masturbating.

This have caused me to have no limit over my sexual life, and whenever am having sex, I feel an extra energy within me that makes me sex for so long without getting tired.


It’s killing me slowly within, right now I’ve developed a waist problem and I don’t know the next damage this will cause me again.


Please everyone here, am pleading you all to help me with a solution, I need help to overcome this, I’ve confessed this to several pastors but couldn’t get any solution……

Please nairalanders, help me.

I think you should open up to your wife about the problem and challenges of masturbation and you both can find a way out before your strangle your dick, but don't tell her about uoir sister pant side to avoid making matter worst
