Briller:Do you mean "feeding school children while they were in their houses under Covid lockdown"? |
Freestainworld:If you think "our banks are the real thieves", what would you say about civil servants who know the nooks and crannies of stealing and assist the politicians. Frankly, if the civil service in Nigeria is reformed, politicians in Nigeria will sit up and have nothing to steal. |
So Twitter shot the guns at Lekki Toll gate!!! So, Twitter is SARS!!! So, Twitter brought thugs to infiltrate the peaceful protesters!!! So, Twitter is Nigeria's incompetent government!!! Please, some of our politicians should purchase some shame if they don't have any. |
Man, the whole world was hoping you'd get out of that terrible state. We are happy that you did. Thanks to God, all the players on the pitch, the referee, and of course, the team of medical experts. |
Redoil:If you have non-existent excuse for others, what about Kano? |
Is the "Rubber Stamp" about to be used again? Hmm, 9th Assembly of the Nigerian Senate!!! |
The act looks intentional and political to me. If it's not intentional, the security aids of the governor should be fired for allowing a foreign element under the governor. |
I had said it earlier that other social media platforms (including Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp) will follow the Twitter way under the Buhari-government. Attempts were made to achieve this feat through the Social Media Bill, but it failed. So, autocratic manner with partisan sentiment is now being used to achieve the intendment of the jettisoned Social Media Bill. Tyranny Loading... |
Tinubuadvocate:Because they lack autonomy they will continue to be subservient to the Chief Executive. Unfortunate!!! Government of one arm (Chief Executive) with three branches (Executive, Legislature and Judiciary). |
There is need to nip this impending implosion in the bud. The government (Federal, State and Local Government) with stakeholders (traditional rulers, community leaders and the people) need to reason together and avert an unpleasant disintegration. If there is going to be any disintegration, it should be peaceful. Though diversity could be merry (in my opinion), if we are unable to stay, then let's divide, but peacefully. Why kill, kill and kill to agitate? Are the people (security personnel and civilians) being killed the problem of this country? I don't think so. The ones fueling division and their family members are protected somehow. |
WARNING!!! Port Harcourt should not be like Lagos, where area boys and and criminal elements use under the bridges as their homes. The government of Rivers State should ensure that under the bridges are not used as shelters or market places. Once one person start to stay under, in a few months na community you go get o! |
Good message from GEJ, the known democrat. |
May God grant him eternal rest. The man's church has been a source of help to a lot of people. I still remember his programme for the elderly. Hope the church continue in the absence of the founder. |
Tyranny loading.... Buhari and his cohorts have shown us that they are not democratic but autocratic. APC used Twitter to peddle all sorts of lies against the Goodluck Jonathan government but Jonathan allowed them. Now they are in government. They are obviously incompetent and full of lies yet they have banned Twitter in Nigeria. |
Tyranny is loading.... Yet, we are still playing party, tribal and regional politics. This government disguised in a democratic garb will soon unveil its true nature. Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp ban may be on the way under this government. Then our eyes will open. |
Congratulations Pastor. You have impacted positively in people's lives. May God give you more strength and grace to continue. At the end, may God reward you richly. |
Shocking!!! Rest in Peace sir. |
Hope this is not true. But if it is, then the reason being agitations for self-determination by the South-West and South-East agitators is a camouflage. These rights agitators did not just rise up, something propelled them to, and that is ultra-bad governance. Anyway, people may say the memo is wrong, but if Buhari carries it through, it will be same politicians that will fall over themselves to tell Buhari that he is right. |
Why arrest a man for saying this? Me I no undastand again o! Na wa for dose pipul wey dey rule Nigeria now o! For sombodi to say him body no sweet am as Buhari dey rule, na offence? See as dis govment pipul don turn wetin we learn for Social Studies upside dan. |
First, who sponsored the terrorism to force Jonathan out of government? Secondly, why has the APC not succeeded in flushing the terrorism out as promised? Why is it that under this APC government, terrorism, banditry and kidnapping are money-spinning business YET, the APC is not flushing the perpetrators out? More importantly, why mention PDP when the APC government is failing woefully in governance ![]() |
Was Aisha Yesufu lying when she talked about the several ills? If not, is it about being a member of any particular political party? Does it mean that people in APC should not speak about the ills in this government because their party leads the country to wherever? Is it everybody that votes for a candidate other than that of the APC that is a member of the candidate's political party? Let us be realistic, Aisha Yesufu is trying her best to urge the government to correct the ills being witnessed now. If she does not speak and others like her don't speak, imagine what this APC government would have turned us to? |
Is there any developed country that cows move around like cars? Don't we aspire to develop? Don't we aspire to be called a "developed country"? Why is the president, abi na "presidency" the one insisting on open grazing (in the guise of grazing routes) instead of modernized ranching? I support the stance of the governors, and wholeheartedly support the Benue State governor. The |
...and I love assisting them on my way to work (not because I don't have my complete papers or need to beat traffic but for their sacrifice to the nation). Lesson learnt. I just have to stop picking them even when it is rainy. |
I think the Federal Government should declare a state of emergency in Kaduna State and make an apolitical military administrator to be in charge of the state. |
“So, let’s ask ourselves one question….’With all this heavy expenditure, why are the outcomes so poor?’. Answer: In my opinion, I do not see sincerity in the fight against insecurity. I think someone or some people are cashing out big time. Our soldiers seem excited and battle ready to end insecurity yet I do not know why it has not ended. Come to think of it, what is the ministry of education doing to dissuade people from engaging in terrorism and banditry? What is the ministry of information doing to sensitize people against insecurity? I don't see any. What I see is partisanship, religious and tribal bigotry. Well, I thought the man at the top of the executive in Nigeria was sincere when in 2014-2015 he mouthed security as one of the legs of his administration's tripod (in addition to corruption and economy). But everything seems to be mere talk to win elections. |
Charly68:I also would prefer Wike to any other name that is being bandied about. With Wike, herdsmen, bandits and cultists will either retire automatically from the "business" or get retired by force. Of course, there'll be wide infrastructural development. Wike will also speak regularly with his people (Nigerians) and not be docile or fragile. Wike will speak directly to his people and not only when he goes outside the country. Wike does not need anybody to write everything he will say. He will answer questions directly not to read written scripts in answer to questions. He will not display any form of incompetence or lack of knowledge. If the so-called youths want GEJ, they should go instead for Nyesom Wike. |
Mindlog:Tyranny loading..... |
Governors should address issues worrying the governed and not threaten to stop the governed from voicing out their needs. Also, governors should stop attacking or threatening people who have volunteered to speak for the people abandoned by the governors. Tyranny loading... |
If I were Goodluck Jonathan, I'll say, "Thank you for offering to buy me a presidential form. However, I have done my part, Buhari is doing his own. Let another person come and play his part. I only hope that the person after Buhari will not be like Buhari. I hope the person after Buhari will not be docile, but agile and competent to run the affairs of this country with good intentions and output and eventually return Nigeria to its lost glory." |
Let the drivers be civil in their driving. Let them not behave like some BRT drivers who drive as if they own the roads and can intimidate smaller vehicles, damage smaller vehicles and go free of liability. I also hope some so-called "staff" will not claim entitlement to free rides? Who are "staff"? Dem know themselves!! |
Military regime in civilian garb!!!! |
Vandalising railroads or other public facilities is evil. What will they achieve with the vandalized items? A few cash maybe. But how long will the cash last? What if their parents or siblings are to use the railway without knowledge of the damage? That's death in their family caused by them. May we please resurrect our conscience in this country. The level of evil is alarming. |
