Disrespect for human blood. How can a man/woman take another human's life and be cool with him/herself all in the name of wealth, protection, visa, etc. Our relevant criminal laws are indeed sleeping giants. |
Why will the Representative say Mrs. Dolapo Osinbajo should not be admitted into the chamber? The wife of the No. 2 man in Nigeria. A decent lady with kind heart. A lady that is loyal to the nation and poised to see that things work in Nigeria. Thumbs up for the Speaker who allowed decency to prevail. |
In my opinion, the provision should be left as is. Any political appointee that intends to seek political elective positive should resign from the appointment and seek his elective ambition. It has been done in the past. I think Gov. Fayemi did it. So, why say the National Assembly should amend it? I do not think that the provision negates the provision of the Constitution. My only concern will be the office of the Attorney General, which the Constitution recognizes. May be if the Attorney General is interested in an elective office, he/she should resign, and the President/Governor immediately replaces him/her so as not to have any vacuum. |
thorpido:If it's his lawyer that advised him to act dumb, that lawyer should be sanctioned by the NBA. |
This is shameful. It is anti-people, and anti-electoral reform. Must the president wait to exhaust 30 days in view of the exigency? Has the National Assembly not done what the president (one man out of over 200 million people) wanted (though generally distasteful to people)? I think this delay is strategic, and it's not for the good of the majority. |

todaynewsreview:True. It's looking like an abracadabra. I feel the not-yet-signed Electoral Act Amendment Bill may be because APC is not ready, so as to force INEC to adjust the election timetable. I think INEC should not shift its election. It should use its constitutional powers to conduct a credible election whether Buhari signs the Bill or not. |
I think the referee was unfair to Comoros Island. Comoros scored a goal, and it was called offside, whereas the player that got the ball, got it from his own half. At least the VAR showed it. Then, shortly before the ref blew the final whistle, Comoros was well-placed to top their goal level with another one, but the ref again! |
Snickers-wearing ANGLE not ANGEL. |
This is not Christianity. This is an ungodly ritual by persons parading under the guise of "pastors". These men need to be arrested and questioned for this inhuman treatment on gullible "church" members. |
Rubber stamp in action. |
The action of the workers at the fuel station justifies why you should have the right and adequate tools. See how these guys fought the fire to a standstill. But wait o! Man can be wicked o! How can someone just approach a car at a fuel station, and just ignite it? |
Anti-people leadership. In my opinion, the president is preparing the ground for corrupt elections. The other concern is that the National Assembly will follow the same route. |
A rubber stamp cannot complain when its owner wants to use it, even when the owner is obviously of no positive value to the larger society. |
Buhari has failed the entire nation, not only the north. He promised security, to fight corruption, and improve the economy. But he did (he's doing) exactly the opposite of what he promised. He has plunged us into a potentially irreversible economic state, as Nigeria now smells of debt, and people are groaning (except his faithful political party member who are part of the corrupt bunch) of hunger. The state of insecurity now was unthinkable. So, generally, I pity all faithful Nigerians for what befell us from 2015 till date. What we'll do in 2023 will determine whether we are willing to get out of this mess. |
My concern is that Yemi Osibanjo is a part of this failed Buhari government, and he's unable to break loose from the antics of the government. Secondly, Tinubu brought him. So, he may be dependent and possibly kowtow to Tinubu? I'm not sure. I WILL STUDY OSIBANJO Tinubu brought Buhari's government which has come to put suffering on the table of the majority instead of putting food on people's tables. I don't trust that Tinubu will be better than Buhari. Does he have boys waiting around the corner to be the new herdsmen? I'm not sure. On Atiku, he seems to have the experience among the three listed ones. I have the feeling that he would have been a better president than Buhari. But will I vote for him if I see these three names alone on the ballot? I'm not sure. Why, because I don't know if he has people waiting around the corner to be the new herdsmen. But surely, he'll be better than Buhari. Unlike Osibanjo, he was able to make impact as a Vice President. He will be people-centric. If I don't see better candidates, for the first time, I will sit in my house and not vote except to void my vote, and vote for the national assembly members. |
THIS WOMAN SHOULD BE INVITED FOR FURTHER INFORMATION, INVESTIGATED AND WHERE NEED BE PROSECUTED. |
Today, Start listening to 99.3 Nigeria Info, and your life will never remain the same again. I was not a radio person but the day I mistakenly tuned my radio on independence day in 2010, I got hooked to it. |
Truth be told Kola Ologbodiyan is more mature than Lai Mohammed in the same role. Kola is not uncouth, he does not swim in lies, and he did not denigrate people, particularly good people. But Lai Mohammed, hmm!! I don't think a good spokesman must be a propagandist, a liar, a disrespectful person, and an uncouth person. |
In my opinion, Bukola Saraki was more people-oriented as the Senate President than the one we have now. He is very much relevant now. Or do you want to compare him with Lai Mohammed, Tinubu, or Buhari? He's better than them by far, in my opinion. |
When do we realize that humans are made in the image of God, and no one has the right to take the life of another under any illegal guise? Could the leadership of Nigeria rise up to its responsibility and unify this country? The evil news of this killed this, and that killed this or that is alarming, but seems not to matter much to the Nigerian government. We are rapidly drifting into the state of anarchy in this country. The North-East started, the North-West joined, the North-Central is not left out, now the South-East has joined the evil party. Please, Nigerians, what should be done to end the rising spate of barbarism and disrespect for human blood in Nigeria? |
Leadership position should not be a stealing position. If there is need for investigation, he should be investigated. If there is evidence of corrupt enrichment or stealing of money meant for the people of Anambra, then he should be prosecuted. This treatment should be given to all in leadership positions including the ministers. |
Not surprised! |
This is highly commendable. I don't bother myself with Davido or any celebrity. But I can't pass this without expressing my respect for him. |
Kastonkastroll:The wise may correctly term this position as a foolish one. |
Is "Pastor" a calling or a title? If a person called as a "pastor" falls from doing what the calling is about, should he still be called or treated as a pastor? These days every Tom, Dick and Harry can be called a pastor despite despicable things they do. Churches are springing up everywhere in Nigeria, yet we seem to be worse than Sodom and Gomorrah. SMH |
It should (among other reasons) cost him the SAN title, if not the legal profession also. |
Obasanjo should please come and solve a dispute between Andy Ubah and Prof Soludo o! ![]() |
The report said the event took place in the female hostel, which means it was an organized programme among ladies, and not meant for the outside world. Why expel her? Why thinking of prosecuting her? For what offence? I may however blame the person that made the video public, for making a private celebratory affair public. I have not seen the video to think otherwise. The school should also watch it, so as not to invite litigation on it. Meanwhile, will she be prosecuted if she represents the school in a Miss University beauty pageant, and have to be in bikini and top bra to dance to the audience and judges? |
We expect termination of employment for unauthorized invasion of the home of a Nigerian, talk less of a Justice of the Supreme Court. Not only termination of employment. There should be public hearing on the invasion. |
[quote Terrorists more often than not levy war against a nation and they seek to seize territories and occupy them[/quote]Femi Adesina is wrong. Was the underpants' bomber in the US attempting to take territories? Of course not, but he was characterized a terrorist? There are many examples. But if I may add, why call someone a criminal when he has not been adjudged as such by a competent court? |
Well done Doc. May God bless the works of your hands. Nigerian gullible youths, be here and be shouting APC PDP. People are using their time to make good and memorable things, some of us are shamelessly waiting for stipend from politicians to scatter election and steal ballot boxes for thieving politicians. |
