Happy Birthday Coach. You led a team that was dreaded in the world. Who would have imagined that the Super Eagles (Nigeria) would be rated 5th in the world? You did it with ease with the likes of Stephen Keshi, Augustine Eguavon, Finidi George, Rashidi Yekini, Peter Rufai, etc |
FIFA standard stadium?!!! |
I am waiting for the book that will be written about Mohammadu Buhari when he finishes his tenure. What do you think will be in that book? Will you like to critique the book? |
I remember one man that said if elected he will lead the fight against insecurity from the front. Please where is that man? I know that he was elected. Now even to speak with the people, he is nowhere to be found talkless of fighting with the soldiers. The country he is leading has now been consumed by terrorists, bandits, kidnappers, robbers, insurgents, etc. Yet, he is nowhere to be found. See is mate, Goodluck Jonathan, who went to visit his soldiers. |
What I think about Remi Tinubu v. Smart Adeyemi? It's like comparing inhumanity with humanity. It's like comparing patriotism with parochialism. It's like comparing hard work with no work. It's like comparing eloquence in chambers with docility in the chambers. Please can anybody list the motions moved by each of them and the bills presented by each of them at the floor of the Senate? Can anybody disclose the contributions made by each of them to bills presented at the floor of the house. I am not talking about bills that are purely partisan O! I mean serious people-oriented bills. The result of this research will tell us who is wasting our money and space in that chambers. Remi Tinubu has added nothing except partisanship in the Senate. Her junior law maker, Femi Gbajabiamila is more highly adored than her. |
Sirjamo:] This blackmail of GEJ is valueless. It's not just cheap!! It is without consequential value!!! Let's face reality and stop chasing shadows or creating distractions against reality. |
Amotolongbo:You mean from frying pan to fortified furnace? |
Commendable. If it were a certain state that you know, the local government or the LCDC will demand money from him for making the road, then the area boys will ensure that he "settles" them for the construction to kick off. The area boys will still ensure that before any tractor to be used for the work passes certain areas, the driver must settle them, otherwise, no work. |
In my opinion, it is an irresponsible act to tattoo your body, much less that of Tinubu's picture on your body. |
Why should a commissioner direct a construction company to stop work when (1) the constructing company has been paid; (2) the state governor who the commissioner represents was not hinted of the intended stop-work order; (3) the construction is for the good of the entire Rivers State; (4) there is a possibility of an action against the state by the construction company; (5) when the stop-work order can be used as a basis for the construction company to move their tools from site and make the projects abandoned projects; etc? What kind of show of power did the commissioner display, particularly in Rivers State under Nyensom Wike that is praised as Mr. Project. Also, when Rivers State is not the current federal government!!! I think the Governor should investigate the ex-Commissioner's action, and if need be prosecute him. |
Tolulopefinest:Thank you. Yes!!!! It is live on NTA Ch. 419 on DSTV!!! |
He has been vaccinated so he can now travel. When there was no vaccine, he was feeling strong though not seen by his own people (Nigerian). Meanwhile, what stops him from undergoing his medical checkup in the State House Clinic? Why is there a clinic there? For fancy? Why will he use Nigeria's fund for medical checkup abroad after declaring some years ago that there will be no medical tourism for politicians? This Buhari's government is something else. SMH!!! |
Racoon:Who is subsidizing who? If any person says he is subsidizing fuel, it is sheer fraud and corruption, according to Mohammadu Buhari. |
Being close to the scene of a crime does not translate to being the culprit. Hope the investigation will be civil? |
The failure and insensitivity of government (both federal and states) is what is fanning the embers of secession. If the rule of law is allowed to prevail on all concerned, equity will prevail. Incompetent legislators will be recalled. Incompetent executive members will not see re-election, that is, if not impeached by unbiased legislature. The judiciary will not consider the status of parties before them, but just deliver justice. The citizens will cheerfully perform their respective obligations. Unfortunately, our Nigeria has drifted southward. |
Is Garba Shehu the President of Nigeria? |
nairavsdollars:She said "I am Lagos born", which is a statement of fact and not an opinion. You know that there are Chinese children that are "Lagos born". That does not mean that they are not proud of their heritage. That does not mean that they are not Chinese people. Also, that does not mean they they were not given birth to in Lagos. If you were given birth to in the United State, would you not have lied if you proclaim that you were born in Nigeria? Does your birth in the US stop you from being Igbo, Efik, Yoruba, Igala, Hausa, Okrika, Fulani, Kalabari, Tiv, etc? |
Fossil fuel close to the exit door. Nigeria needs to rethink its economic strategies. Over-reliance on oil will not do us good eventually. |
President Buhari, the best time to take sincere decisive action against terrorism, banditry and kidnaping is NOW. Tomorrow may be the turn of another school. God forbid!!! Nigeria is vaporizing under your watch. |
I will be so disappointed if Goodluck Jonathan accepts to contest the 2023 presidential election. If he does, I will conclude that he is a stooge, a pawn, a puppet played/controlled by a few ill-meaning politicians. I love this man. He should not stain his goodwill, which can be rubbished by just accepting to run in 2023. It will even be worse if he wins the election. Please sir, do not listen to the ill-meaning politicians. |
Quest for power at all cost have put Nigeria on the edge. It is really unfortunate!!! |
seunmsg:Do you think if GEJ is president and El-rufai, VP, GEJ will not be impeached in his first 2 years in office and El-rufai made president for the remaining 2 years? |
My sincere advice to President Goodluck Jonathan is for him not to conceive the idea of accepting the Greek gift of 2023 presidency fuelled by a certain persons (with ill intention). While the advice to those clamouring for GEJ"s return (may be wolves in sheep's clothing), should abort that idea of luring GEJ. Let me repeat what I had said before, I like Goodluck Jonathan. But if he contests for 2023, I will not vote for him. |
Notionally Nigeria is divided. Goodluck Jonathan tried to strengthen the unity of this country. But the government after.....I don't have anything to say.... unfortunately!!! |
I have nothing to say. |
A large percentage of Nigerian politicians is not sincere to the course of their political parties. Today, they'll join a closed-door meeting and discuss strategy in one political party. Tomorrow, they'll will defect and join an opposition political party and reveal the discussions in the other political party. The day after tomorrow, they will form their own party and strategize against the other political parties based on the secrets they've got from the other political parties. Can you give me a name of any politician in Nigeria that has been faithful to his party and you sincerely believe will continue to be faithful. #FaithfulPoliticianChallenge |
In a saner clime, there would have been series of resignations by those in charge of security (irrespective of the status) for failure to carry out the minimum duty of security of lives and property. But this is Nigeria, unfortunately. |
Please sir, remain as an elder statesman. You have done your bit as a president. Let those who do not mean well for you not succeed in luring you to contest again. We know that they don't mean well. |
HacheNoire:Power is transient. So, after 4 years (that is if he will finish the 4 years as a president), what next for him? It is his call anyway. I like him, but I will not support him any bit. |
Senseless analysis!!! Is Goodluck Jonathan stupid to accept such Greek gift? Is Goodluck Jonathan a pawn? To the best of my knowledge, Goodluck Jonathan is not as stupid and ambitious as portrayed. |
I congratulate the NBA for rising up to the occasion. We cannot continue to live in a country where the leadership of the country treats affairs outside the known laws. Congrats to the NBA President and his team for this suit. We will know if the courts will be courageous enough to treat the law as the law and shun sentiment. |
Is it the "President" or the "Presidency" that spoke on TV? Is Femi Adesina the President? Is there any position like "the Presidency" in the constitution? Why is it that it is always "the Presidency" that talks to the people instead of the "President". If the "President" occasionally comes out and speaks to his people (I don't mean read scripts to his people o!), and the supposed "Presidency" speaks, we can understand. But where the "Presidency" always speaks, then there are several questions in need of answers!!! |
