good day fruitful women. I'm 22 and will be getting married in November by God's Grace. I'm scared of not getting pregnant after marriage because I always spot from ovulation day to the day I will see my AF of which I know it is not normal. Dr Google is not always right. If I were you I would've seen a Dr because I noticed an anomaly and not because am looking forward to marriage and conception. What is that you have an anomaly occurring monthly and you should see a gynae for your health and not for Fertility and Conception. It takes most healthy couple an average of 1 year to conceive. Conception shouldn't be on the top of your mind right now, your health, wedding and happiness should be. In any case you can start taking Vit B6 in a low dose 50mg all through your cycle and monitor for changes. But I'll suggest you see a Dr. Take care

Hello beautiful mums, I discovered this thread few months ago after Ttc for a while. I never tot conceiving will be an issue until tried for several months after marriage without success. I would feel pregnancy symtoms which always turned out neg. my AF reduced to any 1 day instead of 3/4days, ran to a clinic and was placed on injections to treat infections. After treatment the usual symtoms continued. Changed to a general hospital and after series of test, scan I was certified ok. I req for hormone test but I was asked to return after 3mnts. I prayed to God for directions, and read abt the symtoms I was having and everything pointed towards the high prolactin. I went to a pharmacy got bromegon, I started with half morning and half evening for 2days before moving to 1/1. The side effects was terrible and dh asked me me stop using it after abt 1week. I noticed the pregnancy symtoms stopped. It's one mnt nw and I missed my period a test confirmed a BFP .So grateful to God.t king of kings. May every woman Ttc receive her testimony IJN Amen.

I have 2 older sisters, both ttcing.
Usually the kids and I spend days with them, they are absolutely crazy about my kids.
But my husby doesnt like that I go there. He says they will feel worse when we leave, that it is better to visit and leave that same day.
I believe that no one can release her kids for them, all day like I will. The joy on their faces as they care for my kids, their laughter at their antics......that's what I like to give them.
My sisters always ask for us every holiday and we always have lots of fun. Infact, they always store goodies for my son even before he arrives.
I can't even tell them we wont be coming.

I disagree with your husband. I doubt your Sisters hurt when you guys leave, blood is a strong connection and a very funny happy thing. This is especially since your sister is always expectant and happy to have you guys and you always have loads of fun with her. When ttc was showing me shege, I would see pregnant women, get angry and depressed but at the same time both of my Sisters where pregnant and I would ogle at their bump pics and even requests for their pics, updates etc. It just made me happy, gave me joy and hope. I don't feel bad visiting and staying with my Sister and her Sons. I also don't feel bad when I have to say goodbye. Infact when I visit the town where my Mom and Sister lives, I always stay longer in my Sisters house and just a few days with my Mom, or I make my Sister bring her kids for holiday in my Mom's house so it becomes a win-win for everyone involved.

Your husband is just a kind man and he's concerned but you need to explain to him that it doesn't work that way. Infact having my Sisters kids uplifts my spirit and gives me hope that I will have my own sons some day. Please don't withhold this blessing and joy from your Sisters. Talk to your husband and explain to him, the way women think is different from the way men think. Happy Father's Day to your Husband, Our Husbands (All Mamas here) and all the Papas on this thread.

Hahahaha. Fear not. Our boiled groundnut is here to stay. It doesnt have anything to do with labor. I've been eating it from the beginning of my pregnancy till now. Dabino softens the cervix and makes it easier to dilate faster in most cases of women who took it at weeks before labour

That's perfect. Lemon will make your body and CM Alkaline which is optimal for health and conception. Also makes good CM and is believed to sway women to conceive Males. Lime is the one controversial for TTC. So please stay away from Limes. No Lemon or Lime for your husband too. They're not good for his swimmers. Feel free to do further research to convince you.

Dates (Dabino) is that brown oval shaped thing sold by those northerners or mallams. Its naturally used to increase libido but it can also induce labor as well.

Hian! Are you for real? Dabino induces labour? I've stayed away from Mango, Pineapple and now you want to add Dabino to it. I've been avoiding these just because what induces labour also affects implantation. Please just tell me Boiled Groundnut is ok to eat because e no go funny if it's not. Glad am here and learning these small small important things. This women/ttc wahala sef. No probs. God dey.

Below are the things to increase EWCM and Veejay wetness.

Natural things / Alternative Methods:

1. Grapefruit Juice squeezed inside warm water. Drink the mixture and drink lots of
water during the day

2. Eat Cucumber and drink lots of water during the day (I've tested and it works)

3. Insert the Egg White of fresh and pasteurized chicken eggs like 30mins before BD.
Some ttc women swear by this to have helped them conceive. The Egg white part of a
chicken Egg is like the female Fertile mucus. but you must ensure is fresh and
pasteurized Egg to avoid infection. You can pasteurize Egg yourself by dipping a few
secs in boiling water. Please Google and read this method up if you intend to do it. I've
only tried it once, didn't get any infection.

4. Mix Lime Juice, 1 Egg into Lipton Tea and drink. This was shared on the thread and
confirmed by another Mama. This has reminded me to try it out. Will do so tomorrow,
I need to buy Lime. Note that lime is controversial in ttc so my advice will be to do only in Fertile window and stop after Ovulation. You can however take Lemon water all through your cycle.

5. Baking Soda Finger: Wash hands very well, dry off. Wet tip of finger and dip in Baking Soda/Bicarbonate of Soda (Not Baking Powder) insert into veejay once. Do this in Fertile window, 30-45mins before BD. It will make more CM for you, make your CM alkaline and very conducive for the swimmers to thrive and swim

Orthodox Ways

1. Take Evening Primrose Oil Capsules before Ovulation and stop immediately after
Ovulation. It can affect implantation or even cause early miscarriage if taken after
ovulation. Drink lots of water throughout the day.

2. Omega 3 ,6 & 9 (there's a Capsules that combines the 3 in one) take throughout
your cycle to balance tour hormones and increase mucus especially Fertile mucus. Drink
lots of water throughout the day. This is what my Dr currently recommended for me.

3. Use Preseed lubricant which mimics the Fertile cervical mucus and is safe and helps
the swimmers go up there and stay alive for ttc couples (if you decide on this, use half
the recommended quantity otherwise you'll be so wet and it will be so slippery that
your DH might not enjoy it.

Apologies that this was overlooked. As @ Sugah said, Vit B6 is the likely culprit. It's just doing its job by lengthening your luteal phase. I have a luteal phase of 13days and when I took Vit B6, it was lengthened to 15days. If it bothers you so much stop taking it until AF comes and then start again after Ovulation for Progesterone Support and ensuring a good luteal phase. I didn't stop taking mine though but I still got AF after the 2 additional days. I also took the Vit B6 all through my cycle because I needed the stress relief and provision of good Fertile CM that is part of the benefits of Vit B6 in the follicular phase (AF to O). Althoigh it also moved my Ovulation day from Day 12 to Day 14 that it has always been before I took Lupron Shots and had a Myomectomy in January. I've always had the standard textbook cycle before my Myomectomy and I actually don't mind that the Vit B6 regulated and moved me back to that. Hope this helps. What's your current cycle length now?

Please mamas help me torchlight this my HSG result. I have been on severe pains ever since I had it on monday 13/06/16. Called d Radiologist, he said d pain was due 2 d condition of my tubes. Had to take Tramadol injection n now on Cataflam 1x2daily. Thank God am better today.

RESULT

Moderate capacity uterus showing slight fundal irregularity.
The right fallopian tube is normal in caliber but shows loculated spillage of contrast medium which persisted in the delayed film.
There is distal dilatation of the left fallopian tube with pool of contrast medium which persisted in the delayed.
However, spillage was noted on d left side.

Impression: Bilateral patent fallopian tubes showing evidence of right peri-fimbrial adhesions n left hydrosalpinx.

Just not happy with the Peri-fimbrial adhesions n hydrosalpinx. What can I do about it pls?

Sorry you got this unhappy report. I'll suggest you try out Guaifebao and Gynapharm by Kedi which is what Mamas here have used in clearing Tube Blockage and Hydrosalphinx. Welcome to the thread and may your healthy pregnancy manifest soon. The CS will not affect conception since it was done properly and hsg has confirmed that all is well. Was the Fibroid taken out during the CS? Remember that it takes even a healthy couple about a year to conceive as statistics has let us know. So pls chill, you've conceived and giving birth to your first through God, that same God will also grant you many healthy conceptions, childbirth and children as much as you want, Amen. Abeg drink cold water and enjoy your weekend nothing do you.

Also note that here we're a group of very supportive, kind and nice sisters, infact we're an e-famiy. No body insults or curses, what you've witnessed is a one off which rears its head once in a while, once you see such feel free to air your opinion nicely or just press the ignore button in your head like I do these days. You're absolutely right. But it actually means making your body and your CM alkaline to help sper.m theive better. You can do this by adding Lemon Juice to your drinking water or also by drinking Baking Soda (Bicarbonate of Soda) dissolved in Water (no more than 3 teaspoons per day) or by doing Baking Soda Finger about 30mins before BD. That is dipping tip of finger in Baking Soda and inserting into Veejay 30mins before BD happens.

Banks give 3 months with pay my dear mama. But I already took mat leave last year. I'm not getting another one this year. My colleagues adviced me not to take maternity without pay because I may not be able to come back with the rate at which banks are retrenching.

This is why I was so worried earlier. I was thinking so hard. But I will just discuss more with hubby to find the best way out. My hubby doesn't want to hear resign... my mum can only stay a month or less, same with MIL. Both of the dads are still alive and will need their wives too

Mummies here have made great points and advice so I won't go into all they've said. One point I just want to chip in is that whatever you and your Hubby decide, should be purely based on you guys needs and not because of what people might say. You actually mentioned it in your earlier post. No matter what you do in life, people must talk. You can also maybe get both Mums to put in 1month each, 1 comes and the other goes when the first is leaving, that way you have 2months or 3 for baby to get a bit older for crèche.

I also must commend your husband for being a pillar and letting you know that you guys can do it. And yes you can! Calmly and Prayerfully decide. Don't worry it's just a short phase with a duration not a permanent thing. You got this cos God got you.

My people im not too happy and tired of this ttc been on this journey for 6yrs now i know and believe my redemer liveth he will not fail me pls any body that knows effective means of tackling low motility of 10% as DH ran another test and got the result i was so down since he gave me the result,as i dont know what to use cos we have used fertility aid and motility boost , Addyzoa,proviron etc yet the motility and mophology is still low pls my people any good suggestion will be highly appreciated.

Fertilsan M is currently the trending drug on the thread now for male factor infertility. It's not available in Nigeria but Mums here have been able to buy it online. It costs about N30 or perhaps N35k for 3months supply. Some Mamas have testified to its efficacy. Another drug I know that works on Motility is a Combo of Fertilaid for Men and Motility Boost both taken together.

Alternative means that have been shared on the thread is
No1: Grind 1 Cup of Ogbono, add 3 Cups of water, soak overnight, by next day mix and have him drink half cup daily.

No 2: Make Onion juice by grinding Matured Red Onions with water, add honey to taste and let him take severally.

No 3: Make a juice of Dabino ( Dates) + Tiger Nuts (Ofio, Aya, Aki Awusa) + Coconut and let him drink freely. I read it works well on sper.m but am not sure it targets Motility. Both Men and Women can also take it too.

You can also let him take a Caffeinated drink like Coffee, Red Bull, Power House like 30mins before BD in your Fertile window.

Sorry that you're going through this. 6yrs no be beans. I no how that feels. Another suggestion I'll give is if all things are ok with both of you and it's just his Motility, then you guys can consider IUI. You can use a Government hospital to get it cheaper if money is an issue. I think privates is about N200k to N250k but government is like N50k to N100k.

Do not despair. Whatever you do, hand it all over to God. He'll see you through, Amen.

Thanks for the quick response. The herbal woman gave me three different types of agbo. Two for drinking and one to use to wash my veejah every morning. The first day was hell as she gave me a concoction in a cup to take and did a manual operation by inserting some kind of medicine into my veejah. That night I cldnt sleep as my stomach went through hell to the extent that I started seeing different things coming out from my veejah. I reduced my intake of oily foods, red meat and carbs.
