youngking22:As a porridge, put it in your pot and add some salt and water(milk) just to cover it. Allow it to cook till the level of softness you want it. |
GoodBoi1:We can't learn as we don't understand we deserve better. The elites have helped us develop deep sense of inferiority complex in our minds and our best picture of ourselves is that we ought to be scavengers. How do you explain a graduate who after years of school and a year of NYSC is paid N30k to be an online representative of a bad government? An amount less that what youth corp members earn. |
Dinner: A play on Gizmodo. Added chicken and vegetables (broccoli, bell peppers, mushroom, onions) in mine.
|
descarado:Seems you are tilting towards Asian foods of late. |
Skyview01:If we all close our eyes and look the other way, there is no future. The suppression of voters invalidates the election in a same society and if he doesn't pursue justice then, a precedence has been set. Therefore, him and his party should approach the courts for the sake of our future. To further corroborate this, imagine Bayo Onanuga's statement. INEC failed woefully. |
Parachoko:May your life be as free and fair as the Lagos election. |
Dinner: Salmon burger on a sourdough bread.

Adexgentle005:If the fallen hero is your family member, you will say the same, right? |
Since he was like this before marriage and even in the marriage, why did you quit your job? The deed is done, and I will advise you put on your big girl pants to find another job to at least sustain you and your baby pending when Oga realizes time waits for no one. Also, let him know you will be looking for a job and you wouldn't be helping him in any way if he can't open up to you. It is a marriage and I do not understand why he is ashamed of opening up to you. If he feels so ashamed to open up, then he should put an end to the habit and that way, there is no need for explanation since the debt issue which is your concern will be gone. |
Parachoko:There wouldn't need be one since the court will give him his mandate. |
Parachoko:There are procedures and he is following them. I guess you can't appreciate standards since you don't know what it means to follow one. The case is in court thus, no need to protest at least for now. If you got nothing else to learn from the 2023 election, please learn this. |
Parachoko:Unfortunately, you have lived a life of misery to the point that you can't reason properly any longer. Did you read the post or you just excited to type gibberish thinking you would be more noticed by your pay master? |
tonididdy:Then we don't need better governance if his performance is what you term good. |
Dinner: Beans (ewa agonyi style) and dodo. Copied the sauce from here about 3 weeks ago. Thanks to the poster of the sauce.
|
adioolayi:Keep encouraging him, the good side is that his menace will surely affect all. |
So true. I hope they all listen to this man of peace. |
Since he's abducted your daughter in the past, you were wise to ask him to involve the courts. I don't support you returning the money since he sent it for the children. |
Because men are peace loving so often times, they allow them influence things as they desire. However, let any woman in your life know where the boundary is. |
Why can't our young people work hard to earn their own decent living? |
IpobAntidote:You all crying over people's choice of living in Lagos, are you originally from Lagos or you think Lagos belongs to you because you speak Yoruba. Why are you not in your own states too? |
Depending on the relationship with your boss, it might not be an issue. If you are good with your boss and you guys relate well, telling him is great and he could even offer to also tell his friends about how hardworking you are. However, if your relationship is only work related or if it is not healthy or he is the people user, please keep it to yourself. |
Read your post and I'm wondering what advice you are looking for. |
Dinner: Pasta
|
Schrodinger2:Check your ticket again to see when boarding ends because once the door is closed, they can't open it for anyone to come in. Hope you were placed on another flight for free? I guess I have missed too many flights to be bothered about missing flights provided they are domestic as I am sure they would put me on the next flight (waiting list). But I wouldn't want to miss a Frontier flight since they don't go to all their destinations daily. One incident I will never forget because I had to pay for another flight was those days Arik Air flies Lagos-New York direct. It was 2013 and I was going to Canada through New York. I had flown Arik Air from JFK to Lagos when returning from the US and the flight door was closed at 12 noon for a 12:15pm flight so I felt they were always consistent not knowing they are only consistent on the JFK-LOS trip. I booked Delta Airline for 4 hours past our arrival time at New York and behold, on the day I was to fly back to JFK, boarding was to start from 10:50pm and we did not start boarding until 11:50pm. I slept off before takeoff only to wake up around 3:50am and realized we were still in LOS. They said they were waiting for the various flights bringing passengers from other neighboring countries. We eventually left around 5am. Getting to JFK, I ran to the Delta Stand and was told since I didn't buy the tickets together, it was a case of no show and I have to book a new flight and it was going to cost me about a thousand since I was flying same day however, they could take to me Salt Lake City for free but the SLC-YYC leg, I need to book. While waiting to board the SLC ticket, I stopped by a computer shop (more or less a business center with a cyber cafe in it) in JFK and paid to browse. I decided to check flights directly from JFK-YYC and luckily, I got one from LGA-YYC on United for about $263 with a stopover in Denver, my best stopover airport because of the free calls you can make to anywhere in the world with a 10minute limit (I repeat the calls and once 10minutes is over, I call again). Thinking of this experience now, I can laugh however, back then, it was a big pain for me. |
Dinner; Eba and okra soup.
|
Obavoh:You have a new wife or which wife are you referring to? |
ednut1:It depends on where you are and how heavy your accent is. Some students would rate you low as a TA claiming your accent is too strong |
I sense victory at the end. Their positions can't be denied, it can only be delayed. |
Dinner: Rice with the remaining Banga from yesterday.
|
Kobojunkie:Based on the images attached, he is a sadist in my opinion. |
Odewaleadesoye:You might think he doesn't have a chance however, what makes a man is his ability to stand up to what he believes. At this time, I stand by Peter Obi and Datti on whatever they choose to do. |
