ahnie:Noted. |
ahnie:No vex. You fit no like am as cold Fanta/Pepsi no dey. |
Pastry for the week: Orange cake made by madam.
|
Creeper:What matters is you are knowledgeable and teachable. He's stated some qualities of a great leader which the guy possesses and that is the key thing. Each person should vote for whoever he thinks will represent his interest at best. |
Good question, great response. DenreleDave:The resources/revenue under the control of Lagos is so enormous yet, there isn't real growth let alone development due to corruption and bad leadership thus, GRV fits because he isn't experienced in corruption. As for the position of the governor, the experience one needs is leadership experience which GRV possesses. Every other governors were not governors in training as there is nothing as such and despite their years of service in the Civil Service, it never translated to good governance due to their level of corruption and the God fathers and associates they had to please just to remain in power. In conclusion, if Sanwoolu had done great in the last 4 years, we wouldn't see him so desperate to the point of becoming a church greeter and at worst, compromising standards. For the latter, why release vehicles that were impounded for driving on one way just to win election? This for me, is a NO and a sign of someone who isn't fit as he is willing to sacrifice lives for his selfish ambition. |
glimpse:Thanks madam. |
Dinner: Pounded yam and banga soup.
|
Beremx:Why do you think there could be more to his story? In as much as it might seem not sufficient enough, it could have just been the needed excuse. Have you noticed how many of our parents have destroyed their children out of selfishness? |
There's no theory to this however, couples should discuss this before going into marriage. Many men die young because they are trying to impress. |
Dinner: Couldn't think of anything so just had to pick whatever leftovers were in the fridge and came up with nachos with ground chicken and home made Quaeso.
|
The mod that moved this myopic thought to the fron page is the one I blame. |
Richy4:Did someone hack your account? |
all4zionlover:He has no good record yet you chose to have two kids with him. Do not throw out the baby with the bath water. My advice is you listen to what he has in mind. You don't nag him on what he plans to do as that wouldn't make him open up. Been supportive when a spouse is down requires understanding that shows that one is willing to hold hands with the down partner and walk the journey. He's lost all to gambling, you don't need to rub that in. Suggest mental rehabilitation as a means for recovery and you could go to his sessions with him. You could also ask him in a polite way to join you in the business as a means to keep him occupied. However, seems your mind is made up from your responses thus, you could do that which pleases you. |
I don't see any crime in revealing your income to your spouse however, I think it depends on what you both agree to before marriage. |
My opinion is that you should talk to your wife. Let her know that your marriage is between you both and you do not appreciate her reporting what is going on in your home with anyone. In addition, don't go visit her parents anymore and anytime they call you, cut the call so that they get to know you are not busy but you just don't want to talk to them. If they decide to come see you to discuss whatever it is, let them know you do not appreciate their interference. |
Two things, let him know you are so used to Yes/Brother and it doesn't in any way mean disrespect to his person/position. Otherwise, you may need to go do your apprenticeship somewhere else. |
The government should please know that every life is important. They should ensure their states are safe for the elections. |
CornOak:The stupidity of the government is giving back the vehicles because they want to be re-elected. |
ahnie:Before I read the eba, na Fanta first come my head. |
Dinner: Eba and Okra.
|
Dinner: Rice and dodo.
|
ConfidentialDoc:For me, as a Lagosian from Olowogbowo, I see no difference between both of them and I think we created this divide whenever we started bringing GRV's mom's ethnicity. On another note, the violence for his principal in the presidential election that he did not condemn too added to the divide. We wish above all that the best candidate wins. |
Great. I'm with her on this. |
Kagd10:How more foolish can you be? He is a Lagosian and I see no reason why you are creating a divide that doesn't exist. |
Dinner: Oven roasted potatoes, sautéed vegetables, and air fried chicken.
|
doscar:You got my question, the or ought to be it. |
Dinner: Yam, egg, and sauce.
|
doscar:Do you serve or with the toothpicks? |
At this point, you just need to let her know you are not comfortable with the incessant calls. Also, try to engage your wife more as abroad can be a bit lonely. Perhaps, she thinks that's a coping mechanism for the boredom. |
Tonylyte:Does this make any sense to you? You spend so much for a system that can retain results for more than one election at a time? They should postpone state elections if they are not hiding anything. |
This is very necessary at this time. |
Why do they need to wipe out past results? |
