I pity the woke and liberal forming yorubas joining these unculutured, mannerless, immoral set of headless mob without home training to bring down Yoruba heroes. Headless mob that have no repect for anyone, not their king, or their leaders.. Not even their parents; that they wake up every morning with kick.

I pity the Yoruba parent who are allowing people from 'other places' to alter, deceive, mislead their children into bringing down the Yoruba leaders.

I pity the yoruba youth; because of internet validation, likes, shares, clout, followership are conniving with 'others' to malign, insults, cancel our elders one after the others. I see some of them on twitter even supporting the motion that says Soyinka cant lace Chinua Achebe's shoes. Very funny.

I pity for the future of the southwest. We are not grooming people like MKO, Awolowo, Tinubu, Soyinka, Fela and the other symbol of Leadership anymore. Instead we are growing weaklings, soft headed, feeble hearted kids like falz, like macaroni and a whole bunch of others with the mentality of 'I am yoruba but i dont think in yoruba' .. who are conniving with 'outsiders' to desecrate our heritage and culture; Which sprang up the philosophy and cultural concept 'Omoluabi' and 'Karo ojire' ..

It is respect, it is honour, it is our pride. It is why we are yorubas, it is why we are always ahead of all of them. It is what make us different. Unique. Distinctive.

I wish these little kids can understand. I wish it wont be too late before they do.

You calling a set of people uncultured and condescending an entire tribe tells how cultured you are. Before you take out the spec in a fellow eyes take out the log in yours.

Hope when you resumed today they gave you an offer letter. Hope you took out time to read the content of the letter properly? These two things are very critical since you were not offered an offer letter before asked to resume. That is unprofessional and disrespectful as well.

Pastry for the week:
A twist on cinnamon roll that I watched on good network. It ought to be a "sweet orange roll" and the twist is replacing cinnamon with orange marmalade.

Unfortunately, I realized there's no orange nematode at home this, I changed it to strawberry preserves. My mistake was not to replace the orange cream maybe with cream cheese this, it is a bit too sweet (madam said so but not for me) however, not sure strawberry orange is a great flavor because the rind from the orange has a taste that doesn't complement the strawberry flavor.

Will make some cake and bread tomorrow that we can have more options.

Dinner:

Pounded yam and a play on mixture of white and banga soup. I used palm oil from banga and yam as a thickener.

seriously this people has access to the house , I don't see any reason why I should be territorial , my sister in law goes to my shoe rack wear my best shoes casually , she takes my best jewellery and I just let it slide ,one thing I realise is that my sister in law discuss all sort of things in front of her workers who are 10 years and 12 years younger than me and those girls started reacting based on that, I left work when I got married because of distance and I start applying for job that will be of close proximity to my husband house but I got pregnant immediately after marriage which marred my search for job so I started learning fashion designing anyway , my baby is 4 month now and I have started applying for job again, my sister in law is always going on and on about how I couldn't get something doing making reference to hiw hardworking she was when she was pregnant and all, this is a woman that shamed me that I gave birth through cs because i am lazy . Even while learning my fashion designing and as I was pregnant I cook for my husband 2 times daily atleast, do his laundry , iron hus clothes and clean the house everyday . She and my husband still sit to say stuffs like I am too relaxed because he is making me too comfortable

She shamed you for giving birth through CS and your husband did nothing? You are a very nice fellow that you still talk to her. Did he experience your labor moments? I think he needs to grow up and understand what it means to be a husband.

Based on your story, everyone except you is wrong but this is just your side of the story, there will definitely be others.

My advice to every married woman is this; see yourself as member of the family you are married to and make sure they know you see them as such.

If they know you see them as family and not as inlaws, they too will start seeing you as family member and not just as daughter in law or sister in law.

When this happens, most of problems and misunderstandings associated with inlaws will be put to rest.

Many wives today see themselves as strangers in their husbands' homes thereby giving room for unnecessary boundaries.

Why not advocate for men to see their wife's siblings as theirs or possibly, encourage siblings to marry themselves.

I still try to understand how people allow 3rd parties in their home. Talk to your husband on how he's allowing unnecessary cracks in your home and the resultant effect it could have. Let him know he's man enough to manage his home and how you don't appreciate interference.

How matured is the sister's husband? If possible, involve him if he is on the need he should caution his wife in how she meanders in your family and how you do not appreciate it.

This is what happens when we rush kids through school.

Learn to live it a day at a time, appreciate each day given to live, set your priorities right, and do your best. Whatever you don't achieve, let it be till the next day. Comparing and killing yourself over the mundane things of life changes nothing.

Who forgets to flush the toilet? This makes me doubt if she wiped her nyash after the act or that water is far from the toilet and she was in a rush to leave.

Perhaps, she wanted to use the paper towel she uses to dry her hand to push the handle to flush but was in a haste and forgot to flush.
