Why are you blaming the coach after just one game, why the tantrum saying he made his subs too late? grin grin
This coach has now been beaten by South Africa twice. Also, he made his subs too late. He has been with the team long enough to know that a chikwelu playing in Midfield against fast teams is a recipe for disaster in Midfield.

From this picture we can deduce Regina Otu is starting and Rita Chikwelu and Alozie isn't.

This was how I knew Rita was starting the first game, she had same training gear as the regular starters. Anyone putting on the extra vest is likely starting
That would be great. Nicole Payne should also play and Peace Effih can be tried out as well.

Suck guy. This is the 21st century. No one really dwell on the primitive pattern of alb sales like in the 80’s . Clay love nwantiti currently has 281m view on YouTube,I can’t begin to imagine how much influence it has garnered on Spotify,Apple Music and the likes. That is all the stat you need.

See the non-black kid performing it’s,lyrics for lyrics at the voice show in the Belgium and see the way the judges and audiences are responding and singing alongside him.

Even gallivant Chennai community are hooked on it.

https://youtube.com/shorts/gBuopVQcL_I?feature=share
Also consider the fact that ckay's love nwantiti was largely undiscovered until September last year. When I saw it on YouTube at that time, it was just around 20 million views. So if the world had discovered it right from when it was out in 2020, it should have been over 500 million views already.

Tiktok and Instagram has now turned into album sales?
Even without Tiktok and Instagram, these artistes are making the numbers even in your countries' streaming platforms. Go on YouTube and check out the Burga video, yesterday it was the no 50 music video worldwide. Over 20 million views in 2 weeks. Ckay's love nwantiti is the most successful song ever in Africa (by an African based in Africa) on all streaming platforms in terms of numbers and only second to Jeruselema just on YouTube. What other evidence do you need in terms of numbers? Burnaboy and Ckay are invited to white comedy shows in America to perform. I also got information on how ckay's love nwantiti is played all over Europe and even restaurants, just like Jeruseleama was popping a year ago. Burnaboys new album is currently trending worldwide as we speak and the numbers are there to show for it.

We are speaking facts here and live issues not feelings or pure social media trends but measurable statistics. For instance, if we were discussing Olamide or Flavour here or even Asake ( currently dominating the Nigerian space), as good and popular as they are in Nigeria and Africa, it would be foolish to compare them with Burna Boy and say they are also world stars because the stats do not show that.
Politics › Re: Kenyans Are Far Behind Nigerians In Every Aspect – Fani-Kayode by GeneralDae:
Shaytun:
You should give a Bleep about them.

They are the biggest music star to ever come out of Africa.

And that’s a fact
Not just that, they are changing the narrative. In the past, blacks in the U.K who were Africans attached themselves only to Carribean culture and hiphop. Now the Burnaboy's and Wizkid's of this world are becoming fast as global as the Caribbean superstars of the early 2000's and Afrobeats is big in the U.K and even in carribean countries presently.

One other good thing is that, majority of the Jaimacans or Caribbeans had to start from America to achieve that global success so that their Umbilical cord were tied to the U.S and the U.S indirectly sustained the carribean industry. But with the Nigerians it is different. Nigeria seem to also have active investments in their showbiz sectors such that before big artistes even visit the U.S, they are already rich and have toured Africa using Africa as a base.
Majority of these Artistes started in Lagos, made it in Lagos and have their kingdom in Lagos. So going to America and being presently signed by big American labels is just an added advantage for promotion and to break new grounds. If anything goes south there with their American labels, they can always restrategize again from Lagos.

Leave Nigerian music.Go to famous black Americans music. Most white Americans have never heard of them.Blacks are like 10 percent of US.90 percent white American have never heard of black music except very very few of them..My previous Americans work colleague first heard of black Americans music in Kenya.People listen to different genre of music. Not everyone is fan of Nigeria afripop. White people listen to rock, country, all sort of genres..never pop or afripop
Nah, most white Americans know black American music especially black American music between 1995 and 2010. Also whites groove a lot with Wizkid and Burna Boy. When those two especially, shut down famous arenas in the U.K and U.S, the halls are full of both whites and blacks. This is a short snippet of Wizkid in a show recently. As for Burna Boy, don't even mention.

https://youtube.com/shorts/u6ed_vcurIQ?feature=share

Now when you open this video and look closely, you'd see even old whites vibing to Afrobeats there, and this is now common with Burna, Wizkid, Tems, Ckay, and Yemi Alade.

Ghana's 50% inflation is very huge!

The global economic headwinds
have already kicked in!

Only those who have imbibed the lessons of creative innovation and financial sagacity from past global economic downturns and country-specific recessions will survive with near-absolute comfort.

Period!
Is it 50% inflation in Ghana or 27%??

my brother you don't have to, I am not a baby. It was never this worse. This one is fueled by anarchy, a total collapse of the security situation in the country
Let's analyse this particular situation critically.

A Lagos based Business man from Imo state goes back home, went jogging and was kidnapped probably by family members or those close to him who informed the kidnappers, all for the love of money. This is a Nigerian vice that has always existed way before Buhari. The APC and PDP Government have both failed in bringing the culprits to book as quickly as possible, but it has always been this bad. Let's tell ourselves the truth, our people are terrible.

But It has never been this bad. this is at an extraordinary level. Even if there was, shouldn't this problem be solved by a new head of state, must the evil continue
Kidnapping has always been this bad in places like Rivers, Imo, Anambra, etc.
I agree the problem should be solved by equipping the police investigation unit to bring crimes to book as quickly as possible.

How can a presidential candidate tells you the solution to insecurity in Nigeria is to recruit 50million Nigerians into the army and feed them with cassava, agbado and corn yet you are campaigning for him to win.
Are you OK?
Do you need help?
50 million might be an exagerration though. Maybe 5 million at best, but what is wrong with eating Cassava, Agbado, and Corn? Those are stuff we produce rather than import. It would help against insecurity on the one hand and help the farmers on the other hand. I am not a fan of Tinubu based on three things only:

His corruption and flambuoyance
Godfatherism and politics
His Health

But in terms of competence, I don't think he is bad.

Everything you wrote was on point till you mentioned Nigeria giving Ghana Electricity. That’s false . Ghana has its own dam and Nitro electricity . Their dam has been in existence before they got independence . And till now is functioning . It’s has been fully privatized to American companies where every 5 years they
New companies re-bid . Maybe you read more on Akosombo dam . Then you will know more .
I think what people confuse with this Nigeria supplied Ghana electricity theory is that Nigeria supplied Ghana gas which was also crucial at one point to their electricity generation. Nigeria rather supplied only the likes of Niger, Togo, and Benin direct electricity. With Niger it's a business arrangement and a necessary one at that.

The ways some folks here just keep simping for Alozie. Mehn... you would think she was actually the best player on the Nigerian side yesterday. Lol

She wasn't even better than Plumptre, Ajibade and Ebi. She had an overall good game but mehn... those 3 were just better on the day. Just the truth.

I clearly stated that she only had a part in the second goal. I called out the main culprits but maintain she remains among the culprits yet e dey pain her fans. grin

Almost like as if agreeing she had no hand in the second goal, no matter how little, would change the scoreline from yesterday Or maybe it would automatically reverse the pass from Jane. Lol

Alozie can do no wrong.... what a bunch of delusionals. grin

The team is far more important than Alozie, Please. If another player was in that position as she was... I would call him or her out too. I don't do hypocrisy like some do.

Focus on the team and not one player. Focus.
You wouldn't blame them as we are beginning to see beautiful ladies play for us, so there is naturally this soft spot for them of course grin.

And I swear... If we bounce back from this and go all the way to the final again and WIN...

...Then my South African buds should get ready to be trolled real good. grin

2002 - Lost to Ghana in the group stages in Warri, Delta state. Came back and beat them in the final 2-0.

2004 - Held to a shock 2-2 draw (at the time) by Cameroun in SA. Came back and owned them 5-0 in the final. Perpetua hit a Super hattrick that day.

2018 - Lost to SA in the group stages in Cape Coast, Ghana. Came back and beat SA in the final on penalties. Oluehi being the hero.

2022 - Have lost to SA again in the group stages.... De ja vu?

Let's hope the team have the character and the heart to respond as they have always done. Let's hope the Monster mentality of the Super Falcons is still alive and well.

We move.
That 2004 team just came back from playing the Olympics where they got to the quarterfinals, and their games then (with the flare, pace, and skills) attracted me to the falcons for the first time. When they drew that first game with Cameroon, I was surprised. There was no way Cameroon could have stood that team lol grin
