those are international decision making bodies... Meaning SA has the ability to influence decisions wrt G20 and BRICS that directly effect Africa especially economically
I am asking for the evidence of South Africa's influence on the continent through these bodies.

For example: Whatever Germany does in Europe is significant for all of Europe. Because of Germany, Greece is alive today. Germany's body language and policies towards Russia and Russian gas has effects on the European union, etc etc. So this means Germany is not just the most diversified economy but they are also the powerhouse of the EU even with France there.

Is South Africa more of a powerhouse in the AU than Ethiopia or even small Rwanda?

South Africa can easily be beaten, Cut out all Supplies to Thembi kgatlana you have already reduced them to 60%...

Take over the Midfield from Linda Maserami Mothalo and Rafilo Jane it's done..

This game doesn't need Rita Chikwelu in Midfield, Play Ucheibe, Ayinde and Ajibade or Okobi cause I'm pretty sure Randy will fix Tony Payne elsewhere..

Then bring in Otu for Ucheibe or Ayinde if any of them tire out...
True, all we need to do is put Ohale on Kgatlana's wing. We all know Kgatlana is no match for Ohale. Any of Ucheibe or Otu can also lock that midfield against the South African team. Beating them is not hard at all.

My only worry now is: Why our team struggled to draw 1-1 with Balyesa Queens, even though it was a friendly.

So how have you influenced Africa with all these? Give some examples.

ohh my fvck bru!! grin this gibberish above is why you think Nigeria has more influence than SA? Let me just say this: G20, Brics, EU strategic partner, Largest African FDI contributer....
All these are irrelevant because they don't help you influence Africa. Maybe one of us do not know what influence means.

EU strategic partner for example is the worst of them all you could pull up, it's basically nonsense in relation to this topic.

Is this even a question?. We influence politics, economy in this region we’ve interfered in some countries internal affair here(govt affairs and their politics). Same with economy. The most recent was when we shut our boarders down and most of our neighbors economy hit rock bottom. Now that there is influence not some nonsense secondary school girls talk on shoprite and DSTV. Learn to separate investment from influence. A company cannot influence Nigeria,A country can and so far no country has, talk more of common SA.
If these their companies really influence Nigeria, then how is it that Buhari could fine MTN and Multichoice huge sums amounting to Billions of Naira for tax evasion?

Note: They both didn't leave the country despite the outrageous sums levied on them, they only pleaded with Government to pay less and be good boys henceforth.

FT France(4)-(0) Cameroon

Red card to Cissoko in the final minutes, I just hope that hard tackle on Aboudi Onguene doesn’t lead to a Knee injury with the way she fell down..
The Cameroonians were quiet quick on the transition from defence to attack. They just lacked the quality to see things through. The French were also quiet too much for them. If they play like this in their group games and just ensure Aboudi Oguene starts, then it would be difficult for Zambia and Tunisia against them.

Randy picks Ebi, Oshoala and 23 others for the WAFCON in Morocco.

Players dropped includesRita Akarekor, defenders Chidinma Okeke, Ngozi Emenayo and Opeyemi Sunday, midfielders Suliat Abideen, Amanda Uju Mbadi and Charity Adule, and forward Anam Imo.

Full list below
Charity Adule dropped again. When would her time come? I feel Opeyemi Sunday is a solid defender, other than that I have no qualms with this decision overall.

They still have a lot of Catch-up to do in terms of Physicality… if they meet a very Physical side like Cameroon it’s going to be tough for them
How well they perform against Senegal would say a lot about their chances going forward. I know they may likely beat Senegal but I'll love to see if they can dominate a physical but relatively much less technical side like Senegal.

have you asked yourself who they are?

These are mostly Nigerian beggers and Nigerian beggers that you see on the street daily.

562 were deported on June 8 ... Thousands more to go grin grin

We've been turning a blind eye to them for far too long because we believe they can atleast make a better living for they and their families, here
.

I hope you don't get deported too because it will be a big blow to your family. You might get deported because you're most likely in breach of the ECOWAS 90 days rule.

nope everybody continued.... Nigeria only joined 2 months ago
We agreed as far back as 2019 and in the process of signing December 2020. It caused ripples when we hesitated at first, and there were even several visits to Abuja to convince Buhari then until we agreed around late 2019.

With the Nigerian move, “we can confidently say that Africa is on track to deliver a commercially viable continental market on 1st January, 2021” he later tweeted.

There had been much interest in Nigeria’s decision regarding its AfCFTA status because of its position as Africa’s largest economy and the continent’s most populous country with more than 200 million people.

My bru Nigeria is now in fact part of the free trade agreement wink maybe go catch up on the news......

Also the one place I would agree with you is that Nigeria and South Africa are regional powers, however my points still stands that SA has a bigger impact on Africa in terms of influence than any other country.....Just the fact that there are SAn businesses like Shopright and MTN all over Western Africa vs no West African businesses in Southern Africa, now that doesn't make a massive impact politically or even economically, however it does show that SAs influence, albeit small is still farther reaching than any country in Africa
For the Free Trade Zone, I meant Nigeria delayed the process by not agreeing on time and that was a problem for Africa and the AU. They had to ensure Nigeria was on board. Both Nigeria and South Africa were key in the signing of that agreement.
I agree that South Africa have some soft power or influence economically, but it's still not big enough to really influence African politics the way Germany does in Europe for example.

Which African country is in G20? Which country is in BRICS, which African contributes the largest FDI in Africa?

Also culturally I no nothing about Nigeria and how it contributes to Africa
I don't see how relevant BRICS is to the continent because that has hardly played a role in the direction of continental politics. Nigeria is in MINT and that to me as well is irrelevant.

How many policies from South Africa have been followed by much of the continent or how does South Africa influence the A.U uniquely? (Take for example the AFCT trade, Corona, Russian-Ukraine war, or the Libyan crises). The continent doesn't necessarily tilt towards South Africa's direction in terms of decisions and policies.

Nigeria also has failed in leading the continent but the continent cannot make major decisions without Nigeria like in the case of the free trade zone and Nigeria's unfortunate opposing stance (to South Africa) in the Libyan-NATO debacle. South Africa may be powerful but in terms of leadership and policies in the continent, it doesn't lead the continent the way it would like to probably lead, because there is also Nigeria and there is an over dependence on foreign powers like France, U.S, and Britain.
South Africa at the moment, doesn't influence the continent politically and that's a fact. Economically and in terms of FDI contribution, yes.
Culturally you know nothing about Nigeria and that's you, many others around the continent do in comparison to any other African country.

Like I said, in terms of true leadership and control politically, the top two in Sub Saharan Africa are at best superheroes in their respective regions only for now .

oh please grin.... We all know which country has the biggest influence in Africa be it, political or economical cool
South Africa doesn't have the biggest influence in Africa politically. Economically you may have a point, but even that is debatable because of Egypt and Nigeria. Militarily, Egypt is Africa's super power on paper but their political policies do not influence the continent that much but the Arab world. Then Culturally, Nigeria influences the continent more.

I judge influence by:

1)Political policies
2)Economy
3)Military
4) Cuture

Politically, no country influences Africa clearly at the moment to be honest. The powerhouses are at best regional leaders similar to Kenya in the East African regional body. Even France influences the continent and the AU more than any African country, which is a shame.

Economically, South Africa leads as the most diversified economy, though not the largest.

Militarily, Egypt wins but their military might is useless to Africa at the moment.

Culturally, Nigeria has an edge in the spread of her culture in Sub Saharan Africa.

Not surprised of Egypt position. Egypt is extremely impressive. Over 30 smart cities currently on going and some of them are running int $50bn and above. And construction is no damn joke.

Nigeria is undertaking some might project that can spur a crazy economic growth. We should keep that up improve even more.
This Egyptian type of Government seem to benefit them. The President doesn't have to go through the process, he just decrees things and gets them done without much opposition from Senate or Egyptians.
