Kuruptnigga: But my friend jiling ake the boer said black SAn are more richer than Nigerians. I can see Nigerians are buying their posh houses in their country. The Shma guy is doing that to deflect the argument from Kenya-SA to Nigeria-SA. He is feeling the heat from the SA's here . |

EggonBoy: Buhari will shock all of you tomorrow. Many of you seems to predict Mr President by mentioning some familiar names, but President Buhari will shock you with an Igbo aspirant . He likes Dave Umahi though. But the problem APC is faced with is that only Osinbanjo and Tinubu can honestly win. |

popizaino: There are no slums in Accra the west African paris, everywhere is full of mansions and you can see them everywhere unlike underdeveloped Nairobi. I don't think Just 40 is saying there are no slums in Accra, I think his point is that Accra as a whole is more developed than Nairobi. That's what you should be debating with him, not showing slums, because apart from some top countries (mostly European countries like Germany, Newzealand, Norway), all beautiful cities in the world also have their backwater sides, some more than others and Accra is no different. For a fair argument, let us compare Nairobi and Accra by posting the most beautiful parts of Accra in comparison to that of Nairobi. Just40 thinks those parts of Accra are more developed than their Nairobi counterparts and that is his opinion. What do you think about his opinion? I mean in terms of the most developed parts of Accra compared to Nairobi? |

philiancoop: Bring a MANAGER doesnt mean you'll be a jack of all trade too. It means you MANAGE and recruit the right persons to work on the thing.
The "professor" recruited people who told him to use trillions share food in school to children whose parents don't have good jobs. Or give billions in bits of 10k's as loans to traders in the market during electioneering season as "economic stimulant". Loans that will never be repaid and are essentially good for nothing to an individual trader. Mr. Professor is truly only good for law or teaching. He cannot MANAGE even a state in Nigeria. But Tinubu wants to recruit 50,000 police and feed them with Yam and Oil, does that portend good management skills? |
Politics › Re: What Makes Atiku, Tinubu, Osinbajo Etc. Very Popular And Powerful by GeneralDae: 11:21pm On Jun 02, 2022 |
philiancoop: Well then since he cannot MANAGE and economic TEAM, he cannot manage a country. If he's not an economist, he's also not a general (For security/military) and he's not a business man (For national wealth creation).
I agree with you and I think he shouldn't be president since he didn't study governmental science. He should be the Attorney General (as a lawyer) or Minister for education (as a professor) Being a president does not mean becoming jack of all trades. It means having the foresight to employ the right team and oversee the end result. |

El Rufai and Zulum as well as the Nassarawa state Governor would definitely push for a Southern President of Course. El Rufai may be torn between Osinbanjo and Tinubu, but the other two are definitely for Osinbanjo. |

Schemerkhiz: Morocco 2022: Waldrum makes changes to Nigeria women’s provisional squad
Nigeria women’s coach Randy Waldrum has made surprising changes to his initial Super Falcons’ preliminary squad for the upcoming TotalEnergies Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, SavidNews can authoritatively report.
The 32-player group was initially announced two weeks ago by the Nigeria Football Federation for the upcoming training camp in Morocco, where the team will finalise it’s preparations for the WAFCON finals, holding from July 2-23.
While several usual suspects were listed, including Asisat Oshoala and Desire Oparanozie, Waldrum shocking left out in-form duo of striker Gift Monday and midfielder Ngozi Okobi-Okeoghene from the provisional squad.
Meanwhile, SavidNews understand the American has finally bowed to pressure by extending late invitation to Bayelsa Queens striker Monday following heavy criticisms that trailed her exclusion after her goalscoring feat at the NWFL Super Six in Benin City.
Monday bagged a brace in 2-1 win over Nasarawa Amazons to help Bayelsa Queens to a fifth title triumph, claiming the Woman of the Match award, the Most Valuable Player of the Tournament and topscorer gong with nine goals in five outings, ending the season with 12 goals from 10 games.
Beside Monday, Waldrum also extended a invitation to defender Chidinma Okeke, who parted ways with Spanish top-flight side Madrid CFF couple of months ago.
The full back, who starred at France 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup, has been long out due to injury and last played a competitive match on June 27, 2021.
The late inclusion of Monday and Okeke saw, the American tactician, dropping Edo Queens defender Opeyemi Sunday and Pitea of Sweden striker Anam Imo from the WAFCON roaster.
The development swells the number of local players on the foreign based dominated preliminary list to five.
The African champions were pitted in Group C alongside four-time finalists South Africa, plus first timers in Botswana and Burundi and they will hold a two-week intensive training camp in Morocco from June 18. The West Africans will kick-off their 10th African title bid against Banyana Banyana in Rabat on 4th July before taking on the Mares on 7th July and then Burundians three days later in Morocco.

Anyway, it's on a light note. GDP in Nigeria in nominal terms for 2021 hovers around 175 trillion naira, converted to dollars (as at the end of 2021) you get around 430 Billion dollars. That's how I understand it. |
