Good morning everyone, I don't know if most of you remember me how I was all over nairaland begging for job sometimes last year..

So I gate crashed to this firm around Port Harcourt were I stay, submitted hard copies of my small documents and was called for interview four days letter.it is a bottling a water factory firm owned by one man.
There was no offer letter, we were just sent an SMS to resume work on so and so .

I was asked to resume 7.30 to 6pm on a salary of 25k per month..for the first month, I was paid half with the excuse that company was not going well as per sales, the second month I was not paid atol with two other guys that resumed same time as me but oga was just giving us 300 naira each for TP,we thought he is generous, because we were expecting double Salary by the month end since we didn't get our previous salary.

It got to the third month which is this month, the three of us went to the lady that does HR and complained to her, she said we should take our complaint to the boss.

The next day, the man came to work with a new ride..Lexus saloon car, how did I know it was a new car? He called his friend on phone and we overheard him telling his friend to come to his office and see the new car he got..

Letter that day after work which was Friday, I and the three other guys met him and said we have not been paid for like 3 months sir, the man cuts in and said don't we see how the country is, that if we are tired we should go..

Since Friday I and the two other guys left the work.and still planning on what to do on him.

I know the country is bad, but we should not try to take advantage of job seekers just because you feel they look desperate..

Right now my head is just full..

It's obvious you do not have an employment letter or contract signed, if u push further he's going to deny you being his staff. Accept your fate, all the best....

I think this world is turning to something else

I work with a private organisation where I earn 20k as my monthly stipend
For the past one four month now we have not been paid salary and we dare not ask my boss because she is a disciplined woman who doesn't tolerate nonsense..

Things are really getting hard and I couldn't even afford transport fee to work this morning as I have to trek down to work this morning, and on getting to work I decided to summon courage to ask this woman about my salary, She told me to go back to my duty .
but to my greatest surprise it was sack letter that follows.
I tried talking to her and telling her the situation of things but she wouldn't listen and all what she said is that I have been fired.


I was told to come back ending of November to get my salary..

I don't really know what to do right now, it looks like cheating to me .
This is my sweat, something I have work for ...

I left my place of work because of it's toxicity. In my case I resigned myself of which I know I'll be sacked at the long run. Don't kill yourself, you'll overcome the situation.

The landlord doesn't stays in the compound, she base abroad, only tenants stays in the compound and moreover I didn't chose this myself, it was impose on me because my flat is the closest to the pumping machine

Don't let them impose anything, your flat being close to the pumping machine is nothing.. Wiring can be done even to the first flat in Ur compound...

I stays in an apartment that has five 5flat , each flat occupied with 5 different tenants including myself. Before we uses direct electricity which we collectively pays monthly but recently got change to prepaid meter. With each fat with it own prepaid meter. The landlord refuse to bring another prepaid separately for the compound water Pumping Machine.
However the tenants come to dialogue and agreed to tap electricity from my own prepaid meter to the pumping machine in agreement that each tenant will be paying me 1000naira monthly. So I want to know if 5k can be enough to run pumping machine for a month?

Since the landlord refused to get a new meter for the pumping machine then the five of you should contribute to buy a new meter for the sole purpose of pumping water. Listen, this will surely bounce back on u, pumping water for five flats is not something you should take with a joke. These days, prepaid Meter are designed to cheat consumers, that 5k will not reach anywhere...
Why are they pinning the pumping machine to your own meter since everyone of u has their own meter... Be wise o....

Where was the husband when the child was taken to the place ? How come he was not contacted by the wives mother to follow up on the child immediately they took custody of the baby ?

I think there's a foul play on the part of the mother of the child and her old mother. She and the father of the child may not be in good terms hence my guess they didn't inform him on time. It was the husband she ought to call instead of calling her mother when her kids were being detained . If she had called the husband, he would av show up instantly and get his children back. Na the wife sick, atleast the husband will b able to take care of his kids... Useless ministry, they take advantage of them as they are less privileged.... May Nigeria never happen to us....

There is this guy whom we went to university together, graduated together, met in the same hood after education. We were both working and living in the same area even after school. We used to hangout, do so many stuff together. One time we were house hunting, I saw a suitable place then took him to the place to pick a space since he was also hunting for a better place. This guy told the landlord to chase me away and refund my money that he'd like the particular apt I paid for just because we had a little beef( he went behind me to rat me out to a girl I was trying to hook up with). Thank God the landlord knew the genesis of the whole house hunting thing and how I introduced him to the landlord. The man refunded his money and told him never to come close to his compound.

When u know u guys are not in good terms, u shouldn't have show him the house..
