Please,I dont know if this is the right section to post this; your advice is really needed from our guys who stays in the US.

I am considering learning a skill before going for an MSc in the US in 6-months time. I would like to go for Truck driving because my dad drives one and I know he will expose and teach me well, faster and with all his heart. He has been on it right since my birth (over 30 years) here in Naija, He has drove for many companies including don.gote, tetr.alog, and the likes. I learnt it is not easy to get a job that can sponsor a work visa to remain in the US after ones study, so if I learn this from him, maybe I could and get certified, I can get a company that can sponsor a work visa easily why eyeing my dream job. I need an advice on this if it will worth it .

Pls, I need a sincere advice from our brothers over there.

Yes, saint kiss and Nevis is visa free for Nigerians citizens (three months stay) . But the obstacle to travel there is the main issue.

Firstly, it's a very small country with less than 50,000 people. Also, the only way to go there is by connecting flights from London or New York.

So you'll need a transit visa unless you live in the UK or the US. Same with Barbados, the obstacle remains, which is the need for a transit visa.

Maybe when airpeace starts to fly there directly, the obstacles will be eliminated, but another challenges would be if the visa free policy will still persist due to a sudden influx of Nigerians

If you have skills, leaving a 400k job in Nigeria to get even a minimum wage job that will give you legal residence in 1st world nation is always a wise decision and far better than earning even 1.5m in today's Naija economy. I earned more than 700k working in a multinational before I left Nigeria in 2019. It was the best decision I made for myself and my family. Please do the same if you have the opportunity.
