Why is every large community of black people in this world behind? Africa is a country with a majority of black people and it is known all around the world as a third world continent and is used as an example of world hunger.

In America here, black people are only about 14% of the population yet they are responsible for over 50% of the crimes committed. Yes I know we have dealt with racism and colonization but can this really give such a hard blow to an entire people like this? Moreover, why did we suffer from colonization and slavery in the first place. What was it with us that we could not stand strong as a nation? Was it really a bad hand that led to almost an entire people being colonized or enslaved?

I have been to beaches in lagos, cotonou, lome, ghana and ivory coast.

My favorite two are labadi and kokrobite beach, maybe due to a funny experience i may add monogaga in ivory coast.

I normally think we Nigerians dont have this beach culture unlike our neighbors.

The major reason the marriage of our parents lasted till eternity is because our fathers were the sole or major breadwinners of the family.

The reason marriages nowadays crash easily is because women now bring something tangible to the table. This is the major reasons marriages in Western countries don't last because women now have a say.

Men, work hard, work very hard so you can take care of your home and stop waiting for your wife to bring something to the table. You can't handle that table.

Culture and ethnic/racial demographics play major roles in nation-building and cohesion. The vast majority of cultures in Nigeria are not pragmatic, egalitarian, enterprising, hard-working and promote integrity. Additionally, Nigeria has too many ethnic groups, creating a divisive society full of mistrust, disharmony and disunity. Looking at examples globally, the most successful/prosperous societies are those where the dominant ethnic/racial group promotes pragmatism, egalitarianism, entrepreneurship, hard work and integrity. In return, the most homogenous out of them tend to be the most successful, peaceful and safest as this homogeneity endears trust, peace and harmony. Examples abound globally and within Africa. So, if you expect component parts of Nigeria to be prosperous, you know what should be done.

I will be 31 this year. Omo the age is scaring me and I keep feeling like I’m not doing enough. I have a stable job in the private sector with a 400k monthly salary. But I still feel the impact of the economy badly. I keep asking myself, at what point will I start living the good live?
I feel stock sometimes because my job is very demanding and I almost do not have time to do other things, mind you I’m in the medical field and I work Mondays to Sundays most times but occasionally I have some Sundays to myself and sometimes a day off during the week.
