In other words you saw people doing the wrong thing and decided to join them by voting using your heart and not your head.were you really convinced to vote for GMB to start with? How can you be trying to make people see what gej has done when you claim you wanted to vote for GMB. Anyway its good to know you came out to exercise your civic duty andyou did it ppeacefully. Kudos to you for that |
Op Thou der fire you for spreading falsehood on this sensitive day. That picture is not from a bomb explosion. There is no sign of burns from fire in the picture. The picture is just from a road accident. Admins should really be banning people who try to spread false alarms on this super sensitive day. |

Well, this reminds me of the saying: "the evil that men do leaves after them". PDP used these under age voters to get the required 25% votes in 2011. I guess thee chicken has come home to roost. I am tempted to say that child will vote for the people's General. |
1. Are we supposed to take a Facebook post seriously for a weighty crime like this? 2. There is nothing that suggests the woman is with any PVC or reader. 3. There is nothing that suggests the woman is a member of APC 4. Not supporting electoral malpractices, but if all these are true, PDP laid the foundation 4yrs ago when they recorded well over 90% of votes in south east. Back then PDP did not cry wolf of the fraud so why cry over something you started ![]() |
politricks:leave the fo0lish man alone. Causing further disaffection for his boss in the muslim dominated northern region - a region that has more than 50% of PVCs collected. One would have expected these guys to have learnt their lesson that politics of religion will surely come back to hurt you. |
Don't lose sleep over this dude. His opinion and wishes are all irrelevant. Just a quick look at all his past topics shows how irrelevant he is. The highest number of responses had in the past is just 7. And none of his topics has any significant impact on anybody and I am sure this one too will follow that trend. SHM

Yungwizzzy:Very typical. And we are here complaining that the north has over 90% pvc collection rate averagely. They braved the odds amids boko haram risk and got their PVCs while we're here in a relatively more peaceful place and some of us still refused to register let alone collect pvcs. The north is more politically aware and involved than we are - Period Except the pdp is going to force their model of 16 is greater than 19 mathematics on us, I don't see how GEJ will survive this election. ![]() |
Yesterday, I read the news where the mighty AIG Mbu begged the court not to order his sack. Soon, it will be the mighty GEJ's turn to do the begging. You don't mess with the intellect in SW. They will not fight you with guns and machetes, but kill you professionally and render you useless professionally and politically. AIT and Dopesi will probably be next ![]() |

I am a Yoruba southern Muslim. My vote is for Buhari not because he is a Muslim nor because (as some fo0ls will like to please themselves with) I serve to some phantom northern superior race. My vote is for GMB because I look and long for a country where peace reigns and corruption is tamed to the bearest minimum. It would not have made any difference if the APC candidate had been Isa Ndanus or Dora Akunyili (of blessed memory). +I refuse to vote for a president who thinks its ok to go dancing when Christians, Muslims, Northerners and Southerners where bombed to pieces. +I refuse to vote for a man who didn't think it was important to get to eradicate a terrorist group that killed innocent boys in their dormitory until it became obvious he was going to lose election because of it. +I refuse to vote for a man who denied the kidnapping of young (mostly christian) girls that went to write their WAEC exams. +I refuse to vote for a man who think the right thing to do to a whistleblower is to sack him. +I refuse to vote for a man claiming the glory of the projects executed and initiatives of past presidents. +I refuse to vote for a man who think it is cool to back-out of an earlier promise made to muslims when the CAN president says he should ignore them. +I refuse to vote for a man who think he is Nigerian "jesus" even though he quickly backed out. +The dollar now trades for nearly N230. That is over 60% slide in value. I will not vote for a continuation of that. +I will not vote for the continuation of a government that brought a train that takes 10hours to travel between Enugu and Port Harcourt. +Above all, between 1999 and 2015, south west didn't care about the religion of her governors. We are just concerned about performance. Amosu and Aregbe are the first muslim governors in those states. Ekiti and Ondo has not even had a muslim governor since 1999. But it didn't matter to south westerners. Yet, these government, reminded us that 80% of south west governors are muslims. Thereby causing religious anxiety in the land. I refuse to vote for a man that brought politics of religion to south west. So please OP, don't try to use this psycho-religious sentiment on us. It will not work on us in the south west. We only desire competent leaders regardless of their age or religious affiliations. Qualities that are obviously lacking under the umbrella. Don't be a scare monger. #WeHaveDecided #GMB/PYO #GoodluckMarch2Bayelsa ![]() |
To make matters worse, pdp/gej insulting Yorubas' intelligence by stealing the initiative of a Yoruba man. I saw in the news yesterday and I was infuriated when NTA made a campaign advert that GEJ/PDP government has created jobs with introduction of the local content development. I mean my very good friend got a job in Port Harcourt way back in 2006 due to the local content initiative of a government led by a Yoruba man. For the records, the local content development initiative came to being during the administration of former president Obasanjo. My friend got a good job in Port Harcourt in 2006 because of that initiative. PDP/GEJ supervised the scamming and killing of graduates with the NIS job scam, no one has been held accountable till date, yet this same government now empowers OPC - a militant group with touts and agberos as majority of its members. So they couldn't provide jobs for graduates and even get them killed after their parents and spouses suffered so much with the victims, but now provide N6B contract for OPC - so the OPC can continue to terrorise like they did on Ikorodu road. This is the same GEJ that called Yourbas ewedu people; this is the same GEJ that called Yoruba leaders motor park touts. Above all (for me at least) this the same GEJ/PDP that introduce politics of religion to our land. For the first time in our (SW) political history, the faith of a governorship candidate became more important to us than his capacity and integrity. For this reason alone, PDP/GEJ should be massively rejected on saturday. Yorubas moving forward as usual - #weHaveDecided to #change this government. |
I don't recall reading anything that said the brigde collapsed. It was just an alleged crack on the newly commissioned bridge . |
ochejoseph:And that is why he should go dancing after the bomb blast in Abuja. I have not forgotten that the missing girls are still not returned. In a few days time, it will be ONE FULL YEAR!! Oh BTW since you appreciate the almajiri school so much, you might as well enroll your child(ren) in one of those schools. |
phlemzy:Pls I beg of you. Try separate my name from this person that always think her moniker. |
Bros. you lost it when you placed all the evils of this nation at the footstep of the northerner and islam. It is called bigotry. Do you honestly think the problem is all about the north? Seriously, you don't see the dark side of the SS, SE and SW. The entire south is full of saints to you abi. Even Ijaws and Itsekiris have been at each others throats since time immemorial. People like you are the real problem of this country. You can run if you like. You are entitled to it. Oh BTW I am a southerner. |
OREMUSSANCTUS:What? where on earth is ait today? oh I see pdp second national media house. |

Obama said there is no place for violence in election and further went to asked Nigerians to avoid violence before, during and after the elections. While Jona is busy empowering OPC and other regional terrorist groups. Does any body need more explanations as to who Obama wants us to vote for? Obama even covertly went further to calm the nerves of those still hanging on to the lie that Buhari is an extremist. He said in his closing statement that US will continue to be a friend and an ally to Nigeria. How come Obama did not say this all along the six painful years of this administration? He knows we are about to make a significant correction to the error that was made 4 years ago and he is encouraging us that US will continue to be our friend and ally if we make the right choice this time around. So fellow Nigerians, it is up to us! #iHaveDecided GMB/PYO |
Obama clearly called Nigerians to resist violence before, during and after the elections. Guess who is empowering militant groups and providing state security for them. Don't try to paint a picture that is not there. Nigerians with intellect can decipher what Obama talked about. ![]() |
My fear is GEJ using militia groups to intimidate voters. But i know people will revolt if they try any nonsense |
So, it is only terrorists that GEJ think can protect pipelines abi? All the other security outfits are clueless and incompetent. The NSCDC, Police, army, navy et al are all useless as far as GEJ is concerned. And the timing is so perfect that it has to be awarded a few weeks to the election. I have always believed Gani Adams and fasheun are smart people. I hope I am not wrong. I will give them the benefit of the doubt by assuming they are just deceiving GEJ. Because if they go ahead and terrorise the voting public like they did in the show of shame on Ikorodu road, in order to manipulate the elections toward GEJ's favour, then they certainly will lose all political relevance in Yorubaland. |
GEJ knows his time is up. So he is trying anything possible just to cling to power. Imagine someone empowering militia groups across the country. Now he has added OPC to the list of terrorist groups. The same OPC that OBJ proscribed. We know GMB will win virtually all the northern states. Lagos, Oyo and Osun are also secured. Ekiti is relatively inconsequential because of the low number of voters. Same goes for Ogun since it recorded the worst PVC collection rate even though its is also secured for GMB. So, by the special grace of God, Change will come to Nigeria this weekend. |
Debate or no debate - #iHaveDecided. I don't need a Who needs a debate to know that PDP/GEJ is lying when they said there Nigerians can't afford modern trains Fashola has taken public buildings (High court, General Hospital, street lights) in Lagos off the grid and yet pdp is still telling us constant electricity will take a lot of investment and time. Wify just bought a bag of rice at the same old price. The so-called Nigerian made rice are no where to be found in the market (maybe they're all consumed in aso rock). Fresh pdp propaganda everywhere. A report came out last week that we can expect naira to trade around N260/$ before the end of the year. Meaning harsher times for industries with high dependence on imported raw materials. I don't need a question and answer to know who to vote for. #iHaveDecided |
we came from God and unto him we shall all return May his soul rest in peace |
nuclearboy:Comparing Akala the bleaching and bling-bling governor will not bring out the all important point. Akala did not run-down the PDP. He certainly doesn't have access to the kind of money, connections and power that GEJ had but failed woefully to harness. We are talking about a man who is supposed to be the commander-in-chief of Nigerian Armed forces wreaking a well-established, strong political structure with national spread of a political party because of his so many dumb actions and inactions. There was absolutely no tangible reason why he should frustrate Amaechi into going APC. Same goes for Atiku, Tambuwal and many others. Akala was just an a$shole at the state level. Tinubu came from virtually nowhere especially after 2003 elections to being a major force in Nigerian politics today. While GEJ is nose-diving into the abyss of political irrelevance. Even OBJ that couldn't win his ward is still very much relevant and recognised internationally after 8yrs of leaving office. I do not think even the int'l community will call GEJ for any serious African issue when he leaves aso rock. He is just nose-diving into the abyss of political irrelevance and I think its too late for him. It is only God that can save him at this stage. |
WisdomFlakes:I am very sorry. I do not intend to insult peoples intelligence ![]() But even with the dollar influence, will this man survive? Some people cannot be bought with money you know - the case of Awujale come to mind. ilugunboy:You just put a perfect summary to it. But coming from the deprived slums of Bayelsa creeks, one would have expected GEJ to at least have some level of doggedness. This reminds me of an adage I heard many years ago: A herd of sheep that is led by a lion can conquer a pack of hyenas but a group of lions that is led by a sheep will be consumed by a pack of hyenas Sad but true. The strength of any community is in its leadership. when the head is weak, the rest is history |
I am not a fan of either Jonathan or Tinubu. But these two compatriots share similar and striking qualities (even though on different sides of a coin) that I think is too strong to ignore. Tinubu has been in Nigerian political scene for a while but many will only remember his political career since 1992 when he was elected as a senator and then in 199 when he emerged the governor of Lagos. I repeat I am not a fan of Tinubu, but I can't but respect his administrative prowells and political doggedness. The trait of a leader is to forge a way forward where there seem to be non. Tinubu ran into problem with OBJ and the state's funds were ceased for months unend - infact till the end of his tenure!. I am not sure how many state governors (even today) can survive that type of financial starvation. Yet Tinubu survived and even came out stronger. After the infamous and stupid support of the AD party given to OBJ for his second term tenure (which essentially led to the death of AD), Tinubu formed a new party ACN from SCRATCH. AD has lost all the states it controlled to PDP except Lagos after that naive support for their son under the umbrella. It took the doggedness of Tinubu with his new young party to rest power from the almighty PDP (a party that pride itself as the BIGGEST political party in Africa) in the other 5 south western states. Among many if not countless supposed evils of this great political calculator, fast forward to 2015, this man has yet again supervised the birth of yet another political party (although using the success of platform of ACN) that is now a thorn in the flesh of the ruling biggest party in Africa - PDP. I personally have a strong opinion -though I may not be totally correct- that the race to Aso Rock in 6 days time is actually between the forces of PDP and Tinubu. General Muhammadu Buhari is a great leader. I am not sure there is any other Nigerian that can get 12 million votes for a party that was hurriedly set up a few months to election and without the support of any billion naira machinery i.e governor, businessmen etc. BUT in my opinion GMB is just a great leader and not a politician. Now, you have to give it to Tinubu whose machinery is giving pdp an excellent run for their money. I know it is not only Tinubu that is steering the APC ship. I know he cannot do it all alone. But the mere fact that he has been able to bring political gladiators together on his side against the mighty PDP is something that shouldn't go unnoticed. It is not easy to setup a new political party and have people lineup behind you to "fight for your course". This election is actually between PDP and Tinubu political machinery - now even if you don't like the man, you have to respect that! In contrast, the present president Dr. Goodluck Jonathan is seen as meek and gentle (compare to Tinubu) and he has always had it virtually easy. He became the vice president of this country when some cabals decided to pair someone who will not cause the kind of trouble Atiku made with Obasanjo. They wanted a loyal vice to Yar'Adua and Jonathan was considered the most suited candidate ahead of the all ambitious Odili. He knew nothing about the formation of PDP and their is no record (or even rumour) that suggests he schemed his way to the vice presidency slot. It was just pure luck like his name. As God will have it, his boss died. But he soon became a victim of some other sets of cabals (Turai, Andoaka etc) that was bent on preventing him from naturally becoming the president inline with the constitution. It took the courage of the late Dora Akunyili of blessed memory (the then minister of information) that spark an outrage in the country and the cabal was forced out by the likes of Wole Shoyinka and other Nigerian. In other words the people fought to rescue this man from the over bearing cabals even though he was the vice president! It is on record that this administration met a fairly healthy foreign reserve from previous government. It is also on record that this administration enjoys the best reign of int'l oil price compared to all previous administration combined. Yet the nations foregin reserve is probably at an all time low and ministry budgets are already being hugely slashed. In 2011 GEJ enjoyed the support of the citizens, with sympathy votes from people across the country. He and emerged the winner of the presidential elections riding on the pre-established platform and national spread of PDP. Today the sympathy has turned to passionate dislike and virtually every region is eager to see an end to this government. The question I keep asking myself is: How on earth did he manage to lose the sympathy and support he got just four years ago on such a great scale?! How on earth is anyone able to lose many heavy weight political allies to new party?! How on earth can anyone turn pdp - the biggest political party in Africa - to essentially an opposition even though its the incumbent?! It looks as though God did not create us equally. How else can we explain how is someone able to form a new party and turn it to a major force in the country notwithstanding financial starvation while the other essentially ran down the biggest political party on the continent notwithstanding the established political machinery and almost infinite source of finance! These tales should, in my opinion be incorporated into the curriculum of political science course of our country. |
Well what can I say? As at the last time I checked, over 90% of PVCs has been collected in Katsina. With this kind of outrage and passion, I forsee a situation similar to what we saw in south east in 2011 where over 90% of votes went to PDP but this time it will be over 90% votes for APC in that state. I am tempted to assume we will see similar voting pattern across the North. RIP pdp |
