Well the only thing I like about them is that they don't need fit to fly, which is also scary if u think bout it. What happens if one goes into labor on their flight? zannie: |
Thanks. Do you Know any affordable hospitals at Calgary? Konquest: |
Don't generalize esp when there's proof to the contrary. Most of us don't think this way as we have survived without Nigeria...but l can understand y he thinks this way after all the country - Nigeria was set up to benefit the North which explains the passion with which they fight for it. Most of us couldn't care less esp if we can leave Nig without a war. |
no be small e. delta sucks when travelling alone with an infant. On the domestic flight to Atlanta from Houston, no infant seat belt. When l asked the air hostess, she said we don't have infant seat belts on this flight. On the intl flight to lag- no infant seat belt and when l asked the air host ,he said ur hands are the best seat belt for the child zannie: |

Bro, I'm truly sorry about the issues you're facing in your marriage and I'm not going to pretend that I have all the answers. I truly believe that you have been wounded and that you have to start the process of healing yourself and then the marriage cos if u don't, both of you will keep hurting each other. Not because you're mean but because hurting people hurt people. I sort of can see why u feel slighted if ur MIL did not commiserate with you but commiserated with ur mum. Somehow, I missed that in ur initial post, but it's sort of irrelevant to me. Since the woman is as toxic as u say, isn't it better she's keeping interactions to the barest minimum. But if u feel strongly bout what she did, u can tell ur wife how slighted you feel even in a lighthearted manner. Truly I prefer passing info to in-laws thru the connecting spouse and ur wife should be able to handle it. I really don't see why the Pastor should go on to tell you what the mum said and however she went wrong. I may be wrong though. His business is to pass on his message according to the gospel and as his conscience permiits whilst facilitating reconciliation. What he did is in bad taste. Nowadays people can't confide in pastors as u end up becoming laughing stocks and gossip topics. My summary is this - work on ur marriage, please forgive and FORGET her infidelity. This is easier said than done, though. Stop making ur MIL so powerful. Ignore her and have a heart to heart with wife bout what triggered the infidelity - sexual dissatisfaction or emotional distance. If it's the former try to learn her sexual preferences and if it's the second, practice the art of empathy. I truly wish u the best kapelvej: |
Oga, whilst I'm sorry about your loss, ur initial post was all about the failure of ur MIL to inform you that she visited ur mum, before and after the visit. Which in my honest opinion is not a crime. She's so bad but she travelled to commiserate with your mum. You are overflogging this issue and there are better ways to handle it. Just don't set ur home on fire trying to get rid of a cockroach. kapelvej: |
Girl u write well. |
Dude, ko ye mi. Why on earth does ur MIL need to tell u she's going to see ur mum for? You are making a good deed seem like a disfavor. You guys were bereaved n she went to commiserate with ur mum, u dey vex. What's her crime? |
Freeze do me a favor...jus shut up! |
Happy birthday to a very humble man of God. You indeed are blessed and have been a blessing. We celebrate you today, Sir. @op, u didn't add that 100 days fasting he ordered in 2014. That one na another notable feat |
Bravo dear. Very well written and consistent updates. I must commend you on that. InkPaperVodka: |

Yeah, but this is the Op's decision to make and apparently he doesn't want to marry an AS if he's one. Since we don't know his religion or personal experiences, bro, please run another check to avoid stories that touch.. . Guitarlife: |

N here's where we disagree. If you have so much faith not to birth sicklers, I dare say u can stand in faith for ur genotype to be changed prior to marriage. A number of churches - Winners, Redeemed and maybe Salvation Min have recorded such testimonies. N FYI, the church is not a govt establishment. If you don't accept my rules, u don't have to get married there, so suing for what? Most Nigerians are always quick to point out the watered down version of oyibo Christianity, the uncovered hair, gay's n Wat have you but I guess you'll accept their standards when it comes to protecting unborn kids. Well, what do I know? Guitarlife: |
Yeah, the church will have stopped the marriage if both of us were AS. Most Nig churches do and I definitely am in support. I have no faith to take a chance of birthing sicklers n will avert that risk as much as I can. Guitarlife: |
Yeah mistakes happen all the time. I kid you not. I remember when I was about getting married and the church requested for genotype results. I stopped by at a hospital with good structure and they took my blood sample. I told them I'll be back in the evening after work to pick up the results. In the evening, got there picked up my neatly packaged result in an envelope which indicated my genotype was different from the typical one I had known from childhood so I was quite surprised but felt all was OK till I noticed the lab staff were jittery and whispering to themselves. When I asked what the ish was, they said that there was an issue as per they did not follow the standard for getting the blood sample. That the results was not consistent and that I should not be angry. They now retook the samples and that my genotype was not what they advised previously. I left utterly bewildered so if I hadn't known my genotype before that's how I would have been deceived. Since then I no longer doubt ppl who say they thought they were Aa before marriage and later found out they were AS. |
Cos she's half? kingthreat: |
This lady is beautiful barefaced. Wonder what she will look like with make up on friendlyadvice: |
