Hello house, great people here, please if I do a 1 month visit visa can I renew before expiry when I come to Dubai....and how much is it..
Better to get a 90days visa. It's less expensive practically. Also 90days visa change is more common and less expensive practically.

From the post and comment I have read for some pages so far. It is like most people going to UAE are unskilled or not certified hence the struggle to get job or maybe they are misinformed. However I haven't seen any comments concerning skilled jobs for artisans like painters, plumbers, tilers etc... Like we're made to believe back home that UAE are meant for skilled, professional and business purposes. My question is how about these artisans jobs are they really in demands.
What are their chances of getting a good Jobs over there.
I have two of my cousins who are painters and would like to relocate UAE with their skill in painting. I also have a friend who is into travelling agency whom I spoke to about it and he offer to assist them with Direct employment he said their skill is in demands in UAE and Cyprus. But after much discussion with him he decided we should settle for UAE because I told him I can't afford the two guys at a time.
Note he's not demanding any money from me because he's more than a friend this is a way of assistance. He just told me to get their I P get back to him that he will get them employment Visa for them that UAE company will take care of their flight, work permit and Visa so when they get there they can raise money from there and move to other European countries. So please those with experience what do you think about this. I hope to hear from the experience ones. Thank you
You need to understand Hindi to cope. That's all I will say.

This is 2020 and advanced countries seem to be advancing past home work and assignments as seen in the new arrangement for all public schools in the UAE. Is this good news for education or for the students? Is this new deal going to trickle down to our education system in Nigerian?

U guys should leave d guy alone to ask whatever questions he feel like asking, abi na una wan pay he bills when he gets to UAE? or did he stop anyone from asking or commenting on other subjects

Una wen dey find comments to read which one una dey post

odalonu12 don't get discouraged until u are able to get ur answers, u don't know who may read ur comments and offer to help

If u are able to get a breakthrough on ur field of interest na d same people go dey ask u to share link

My Bro keep pushing and also take time to look for freelancer online already doing this ur field of interest in UAE chat them up, i remember i did that when i had interest in photography and some of the freelancer photographers in UAE was of great help to me on what i should learn and focus more on

I know for a fact interior design will surely be a big deal in UAE but guy u go need the right link to access d market. Or u can also get link to d big companies on interior design here in Nigeria that's probably if you're in Lagos or Abuja

Are u on Twitter? thats one of the big platforms u can also use, if you're not, sign up, they are lots of big time Nigeria interior designers on Twitter some in naija some outside naija, I'm off Twitter now i would have given u some Twitter handles to follow and ask for their advice
Odalonu12 has been answered already by different people. But it seems he's looking forward to a favourable reply like "autocad is hot cake. There is vacancies in my company for Nigerians with autocad experience". Till he hears that, all those answers given do not pass. But like you said, he may just get lucky with a favourable reply with time and chance.

You can start shooting applications on nakrigulf or indeed now.

Still on still, you will need to search.

The big jobs are available but penetrating is the issue(not really).

I have gone to over 15 construction sites with my CV , well they sound positive but I have been advised to quickly do Nebosh igc( 300-350k).

I will prefer this to sira since nebosh is globally accepted etc.

Like they have been saying on here, the journey is not for the fainthearted.
Why not do the NEBOSH IGC from Nigeria if you are not travelling now. NEBOSH training is like 10days, then you book for exam. The result is not instantly. I think it takes some months to come out. So if you do 3months visa and do your NEBOSH exam first week in UAE(Which is very unlikely), your results will come out when your visa is about to kalas.
Also transport costs to your training venue is likely more than what you will spend in Nigeria. And that two weeks you will sit inside class being bored about safety first, your 90days is counting down brother.

cool

When Shiek Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum of Dubai said he wanted a change, it wasnt easy, he said it out loud Otoge!! back in the early 90s and his subject hissed and said dubai must remain rural for life and he was crazy, they were ok with their camels and donkeys with few Tokunbo cars telling him what isnt damage doesnt need fixing

Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum went around with his crazy policies that was not similar to conservative islamic veiws and they called him prince of Saytan and unislamic, he went to Egypt Air to lease just 2 plane and started Emirate Airline, he came to Nigeria to meet Obasanjo and begged him to invest Nigerias free money in dubai and make Nigeria a great return on investment, Obasanjo bluntly told him nobody invested in a desert, while Atiku secretly siphoned his money to Dubai to own some of the best malls and towers in dubai

Now Sanwo-Olu is making a crazy move that can cost him a second term, and he wants to turn lagos around calling for private investors to join the BRT scheme and Lagosboat scheme, nobody is taking the offer, if an Atiku or a Dangote comes to Lagos and capitalize on the new oppurtunity bringing in double decker bus, people would wail and scream, while this men smile to the bank

Double decker Coaches and busses start retailing from about 30 million - to 43 million naira, Ferry boats cost similar, many celebs and yahoo boys in Lagos can buy one instead of benz and range rovers or empty mansions and join the BRT fleet managed by Lagos state Government and make money forever

.
Did Al Maktoum punish his people? No. Good and disciplined policies must be carried out with sense. If you don't want to see okadas and kekes, what are the alternatives? It was same Lagos government that popularly introduced keke during military governor Marwa days as an empowerment. And a great empowerment it has continued to be. It remains a good and huge source of employment and revenue, most efficient intracity transport mode, and safest form of transport in Lagos.
The ban should be in phases of places. There ought to be trains, water transport, more effective and convenient transport authority buses. They won't even need to ban before they phase out.

Take it or leave it, that's my observation bro. And I talk wrt UAE. Until investigations are carried out, whenever a black does something bad, people quickly assume he is Nigerian. And that's because of our reputation.

I hail you @justwise
Bros, they assume it's a Nigerian because it's usually a Nigerian. This is a sad fact. I fear Nigerians and will rather do stuff with other nationalities. We think we are smarter than others. Other countries may have smarter and more intelligent or sophisticated scammers but a gross percentage of Nigerians are ready to scam you and take advantage of you, either foolishly or intelligently, including your friends, your relatives, your brother in your church/mosques.

Guys the visa is finally out. It came out sooner than I expected but he's saying, He wont give me the details to verify unless I pay the balance. Can I proceed guys ? I need ideas on this
Bros, visit visa is like 24hours to 3days at most so nothing should surprise you or put you off guard that it's came out soon. Your visa is either out or not out. If it's out, then he needs to give you because it is useless to him. He's already paid for it IF it is truly out. If you want to spend more money, confirm your visa. If you don't want to spend a dime more, tell him to keep the visa in his library or use it for dp.

It should not be given reluctantly! And debasing someone just because you wanted to help them is inappropriate!
So you can't perform miracles but you feel you should dictate terms and conditions to one who can? It's like someone who doesn't have a bicycle tyre telling Toyota what to do or how to run. Stop clowning please, this is Tuesday not weekend.

Of many other benefits in the west, illegal immigrants thrive well with some later getting PR and passport through marriage and other means, here in UAE, e no de possible and it's one of the things that don't favour unskilled migrants here, not only Nigerians.
This is so true especially the bold part. Nigerians have that self pity mentality like it's only them suffering and the world is against them. Yes, there's the part of Nigerians being very notorious and lousy but 70% of Nigerians problem is from Nigerians. There are things that increase your chances of getting employed. You have no skill, no certification, no valid experience, you don't speak Arabic, you don't speak Hindi. Brother, find an English speaking country. It's like someone not able to speak English or any of the three major languages looking for work in Nigeria. Even if you are employed out of pity and not objectively, you'll be a minus and a drag to the company. Because you have no skill, experience or certification, you can only get a low cadre job. So your colleagues and superiors and customers are speaking hindi or Arabic, because remember, you are in low cadre unskilled work. You are an automatic disadvantage to be continually carried along. It's a simple stuff. Even inside church or mosque in Nigeria, if one new poor members join and can't speak the general language, the members self will not be happy, the pastor will be praying for him to go. grin Because he's not adding much as a poor member. Instead everybody has to wait for him and patiently related and interact with him.

This is the regular pattern. If you have no skill, speak Arabic, or speak Hindi. If not, favour is not likely to favour you. You just join the statistics of the unprepared unemployable.

Nothing new or that has not been said here already na. But your income is tax free though. Also labour laws make sure you are paid monthly. Owing months of salary is mostly past tense, except maybe people with old Emirates ID, like 2years ago. New Emirates ID have bank account or exchange account that salary must reflect every month except the company want to pay huge fine.

For effective job hunting, you'll need a laptop, be ready to resume with HRs at 8am and you will keep refreshing the pages of the popular job sites till 4pm. You'll need to apply for new openings on the popular job sites: indeed.ae, uae.dubizzle.com, laimon.com, naukrigulf, 1dubaijob. etc. indeed.ae will sometimes direct you to some less popular job sites and also to the career page of some companies. Be patient and ensure that you apply diligently. Target the multinationals, chains and group of companies more.
You only need to visit places where they are conducting openday/walk in interviews. You can barely submit 20 CVs physically per day and most of them will end up in the bins but you can submit as much as 100 or more everyday online.
Honestly I don't know anything about autocad but pls chose your hustle wisely. Find out about skills that can get you job faster.
I don't think you'll have such luxury of time to be doing more courses unless you've planned it very well before coming. I did something similar, I wrote HAAD licensing exam(my own plan B) when I didn't get any viable job in Dubai, which I was holding its license as a tourist.
Bed space can be in the range of 400-1000 depending on location, neatness, available facilities and population.
Be positive about your goals and pls don't put all your eggs in one basket, be sure to leave something reasonable back home in naija, in case things don't go well as planned.
As for people who have acused those encouraging fellow hustlers to come and try their luck in UAE of being Visa agents, some of us were encouraged by what we read on this thread before coming and we are good for it today.
I can't say it better.
