technaija: In fulfillment of their engineering course in Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO). These four students ( Ekeh Isidore, Kizito Onyema, Aloysius Nwokedike, John Kenedy Kalu) constructed a quadcopter surveillance drone for the university campus as a school project.
With a wood constructed Controller and First Person View (FPV) system, the drone pilot sees the video footage of the campus in real time.

The Ijaw militants of Isaba and Ogbe-Ijoh planned a two pronged attack on Aladja today,Thursday,4th January, 2018 but by the grace of God they failed.
About 12noon there was sporadic gun fire from the ONOS B beach area of College Road,Aladja. The shooting lasted for about 30 minutes before it stopped. No one from Aladja released a single shot for the duration of the shootings.And Aladja heaved a sigh of relief as the military were around to witness the shooting. And their report will attest to the fact that Aladja did not shoot a single shot.
Then,suddenly, around 6pm Isaba attacked through the main road and attacked the Military Joint Task Force base at Aladja with MGs,GPMGs,Rocket Launchers,Grenade Launchers,Bombs and other sophisticated weapons like AK 47; G3; FM rifles,to mention but a few.
But for the gallantry of the military men the Isaba militants would've over run the base and subsequently penetrated Aladja.
At the end of the shooting which lasted over 30 minutes one Isaba militant was dead while many escaped with bullet wounds.

Men of Ogun State Police Command have arrested two Brothers Paul Jibunor ‘m’ 23 and Nkoenye Jibunor ‘m’ 28, for serial rape and robbery.
The two men were arrested on the 31st of December 2017 following a report from one Ijeoma, who complaint at Ojodu Abiodun Division that she was picked in a taxi by three men on 29/12/17 from Fela shrine Oregun Lagos to Iwo street Ojodu Abiodun on an agreed fees only for the men to forcefully dragged her down and have unlawful carnal knowledge of her after which they dispossessed her of her belongings.
She stated further that she sighted the three men at Adebayo area of Ojodu and was able to recognize them. . . Upon her report, the DPO Ojodu Abiodun Sp Bamidele Job detailed detectives to the area where two of the suspects were arrested while the third one escaped. On interrogation, the suspects confessed to the crime.

The disclosure was made by Professor Femi Dokun-Babalola, the president of the guild.
We gathers that the Guild of Medical Directors is a body of private medical practitioners; and the hospital where Yusuf is currently being treated, and where he was operated upon, Cedarcrest Hospital, is a member of the association.
Babalola stated that the guild was hoping for a complete recovery of the president’s son, but could not provide information on the exact circumstances of his accident.
The statement read in part: “We are saddened to hear about the unfortunate accident involving the son of our dear president on a power bike.
“While we cannot comment on the exact circumstances of the accident, we are happy that the situation is being efficiently handled by Cedarcrest Hospital in Abuja, one of the top Guild of Medical Directors-owned hospitals in Nigeria.
“It is heartening to note that his condition is now stable after undergoing brain surgery and we hope for a complete recovery from this unfortunate incident.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with President Muhammadu Buhari and his family at this time.”
Meanwhile, HitNg previously reported that the presidency denied reports that Yusuf Buhari was flown out of the country to Germany for medical treatment.
