Debater:But you just made it about tribe in this post of yours. How can a man have that number of votes across the country and you try to take it for granted. What is wrong if his party members supports him, when that's exactly what you need to win, having party members that cuts across the tribes, region and ages (that's what is called POLITICAL STRUCTURE, but you all said it doesn't matter, PETER OBI has done well but he would have done better if he had such party members across the regions and not just a few here and there) |
Dear Jagaban, It's time to start preparing for the task ahead. We do not want the hiatus we experienced when Buhari took over. You are known for putting together a good team across all tribes and regions, please start the process now. For those old hands who have contributed to your victory who needs to be rewarded for their unflinching support, make some of them ambassadors, the experience of some of them would still be needed at home. Inject fresh brains and talents. Engage bright minds who have shown themselves to be stars both homegrown and those in the diaspora. Dear Citizens, Let's just hope that Jagaban delivers, some of us actually believes he can that's why we supported him not because of tribe. If Obasanjo was on the ballot instead of Tinubu I would never have voted for him. For some of us, the decision to vote for Tinubu instead of Obi or Atiku was purely based on their performance in the past rather than the promise of the present, that's our singular reason. We citizens can only hope for the best from his government. It doesn't matter who is president some people will succeed, it also does not matter who is president some people will not. Obi will not drop money on anyone's laps. If the government delivers good governance, the citizens will enjoy it but if anyone wishes that the government should fail, they should know that those in government won't feel anything, it is the citizens that will suffer. |
I never rated this pastor ever, but listening and watching this, it is very obvious this is not mere permutations or declarations borne out of personal emotion or preference. Very detailed I doff my hat. I really pity all those pastors who gave "made in China prophecies" based on their personal preference and leanings, may God forgive them for bringing disrepute to the name of God which they attached to their personal opinions. |
Nice2023:A federation...?? |
Tissaia:Coming to America Ni! |
OmoFiditi:I never said Tinubu won Akwa Ibom. Can't you read English or you do not understand? You are obviously not from Fiditi, I would have explained to you in Yoruba. I do not understand nor speak igbo. Get an interpreter to explain to you. |
Nwadu:Oga shift your blame elsewhere. Must they campaign for your candidate? They have just one vote which they have used, you have yours which you have used as well. It is only a foolish spiritual leader who should take sides in an election like this when there are members with diverse political leanings. It is wisdom to allow your flock choose freely and stupidity and foolishness to condemn such a leader. |
kurupt1:You only voted in one polling unit. If at all you even have the trend of votes in your ward. Do you have for all the wards in your council ![]() The reason people make unnecessary fuss i still don't get. This is a keenly contested election. That a candidate wins in your polling unit does not mean he has won the whole election. |
CartelKenneth:Disgusting. You are so full of shit! Just imagine how you reason I have close relatives who voted for Obi, but for us it is what it is. It is everyone's right to make a choice. What should we call those in the east who didn't vote for our own candidate? If you can equate yourself with cockroaches, bro I pity the people around you. |
Onyi22:Igbos are not a problem, they only need to change their school of thought. For anyone to win in a presidential election he would need to form alliance with other regions. Insulting other people or forcing a candidate down people's throat does not win presidential election. There must be handshake across the Niger. Obi has tried. He has proven a point. He has shocked so many, maybe if he had started earlier he would have done better. Also in the north, APC and PDP had prominent persons contesting in the National Assembly elections who would also want their party to win the presidential election. This was what people referred to as STRUCTURE but you guys said it does not matter. There is a lot to learn from this election for anyone who has ambition in the future. Networks and Bridge-building is very important. Insulting a tribe or calling them names just because they understand that forming alliance wins this kind of election is conter-productive. |
Onyi22:You just described who you are by this. What business of yours is it, if a people choose to be accomodating and liberal hence are not blinded by religion. |
Treasure17:Ok bro |
GardenOfGod:He is simply pushing the blame to inec. Inec registered this people and he doesn't want to take that blame. It's really pathetic... |
DeepSight:My question is this for more than 30 years now Abuja has been the capital of Nigeria, why has there not been such a claim that Abuja is a no man's land...?? Why? |
dettolgel:What has my spelling got to do with the points I raised. I expected you to say it is not true that fellow igbos are being sacked in igboland just because they are from a different state in the south east while they are being employed in Lagos and other south west states without prejudice to their tribe. You won't deny it, you would rather be looking out for spelling of ibo instead of Igbo. It is not expected that people who can sack their fellow igbos just because they are from a different state should claim a no man's land in far away Lagos, or is it the subtle disdain some igbos have for Ebonyi people who are also igbos. |
dettolgel:Says who? I served in Akwa Ibom in 2010, as nice as Akwa ibom people are to Yorubas and others, there is this resentment when it comes to job opportunities and economic opportunities, you will be reminded that this is reserved for their sons and daughters. I have had reasons to visit the South Eastern region as well and I know it is not a no man's land Stop deceiving yourself by telling yourself that. The level playing ground that everyone has in Lagos is not obtainable elsewhere (at least in the south east) In my state and in Lagos there are a lot of ibo people in the civil service. Can you say the same for the south east, where even other Igbo people from neighboring states are being sacked from their civil service. I think you know the truth, you just chose to be deceptive. |
tonididdy:This mindset of yours which most Ibo people have is disgusting and repulsive. Assuming Obi even wins Lagos, so all the yorubas who voted for him in Lagos are igbos. Lagos being Yorubaland is a fact the electoral votes is not what will validate that. All of you who belong to this school of thought are just delusional and it is very dangerous for you to think this way. |
seunoj:It's not about being a Mr Knowledgeable. You were attempting to present a false narrative. I am only trying to set the record straight. I am a member of the RCCG. I am sure you are not and your post was only intended for mischief, if the records were not made straight, some persons would take your word for it. |
suratwo62:In your attempt of being an analyst or a woke supporter, be careful not to bring curses upon yourself. |
AbdulMagaji:Who is we? Who has the responsibility of reporting? Only the inec adhoc staff/security personnel. Particularly only the Presiding Officer is vested with such a power.... Not WE. |
seunoj:The political department created had nothing to do with any candidate. For years now in the Sunday School manual there is always a topic that borders on "Participation of Christian in governance" (May not be the exact topic or title but there is always a Sunday dedicated to that theme) The objective of that department was borne out of the goal of all these Sunday school discussions and which is to encourage more members and christians generally to be more actively involved in the political process. The objective has never been to support any particular individual. During registration and collection of PVC for example, in my own parish, the area pastor always give an ample time every Sunday after his sermon to remind us to play our own role. During announcement, a minister in my parish always announced this and encourage us to go get our PVCs. At a point we were all asked to bring it to church the following Sunday so we can wave it to God, just to see that we do the needful. If you do not know something, you can find out instead of spewing lies out of ignorance. Political department was never to drum support for anyone. Papa Adeboye will not choose anyone but whoever Nigerians at large decides to elect. If that does not make you happy, there is nothing you can do about it. You can't force every one to support your candidate. |
Tokskob2008:But you said he participated in a Jonathan must go protest or rally. You can just support who you want, don't drag Pastor Adeboye into your shenanigans. He does not answer to you neither does he have any obligation to your candidate. If you want to stop going to church (or even his church) because of that, that's what you have always wanted to do and you are only looking for an excuse and that's your own cup of tea. |
Wiseandtrue:He is not Prophet Elijah. He is a Pastor of a church that has many of its members in different political parties. Baba Adeboye has never campaigned for a particular candidate, even when Pastor Osinbajo, a prominent member of the RCCG was on the ballot with Buhari, he never campaigned for him. In the RCCG there are diverse political opinion and members belong to different parties, as a spiritual leader why will you push one party when you know you have members who belong to other parties. Those who did were misguided and did so from their own understanding. I do not believe that God was the one leading them. Cos the flock in their care do not belong to one single party. I am not convinced God would lead anyone in that manner. Even now, the RCCG still maintains the position it did then. We were all encouraged to cast our votes for our preferred candidate and that we should ensure we carry out our civil obligations. In my own parish I know several of our ministers who will vote for Peter Obi (just from inuendo, but they never campaigned for him) They even told us then to come to church with our PVC during PVC collection period just to encourage that we do so. What else do you people want?? That Baba Adeboye should support your scam of a candidate. He won't, go and do your worst |
Tokskob2008:You are a big liar. He never joined a Jonathan must go rally. What he did was a prayer walk for Nigeria. Show evidence of him in a Jonathan must go rally or forever shut your gutter of a mouth. People just come online to tell lies. Una no dey even think am at all... Shame on you... |
Wiseandtrue:Daughter of Prophet Elijah, please tell us what he would have said. |
VTJN:He was a beacon of hope for some of us until naira exchange rate and stupid custom spoiled things. He was bringing in affordable non accidented cars into the country. He is a cool guy, I am in one of his WhatsApp group for cars. I wish I could help also but... |
AbdulMagaji:Now that Abuja is the capital why are you people not claiming Abuja? Why Lagos? |
VoidLife7:Amdman is a kind hearted guy. We know him. |
Human23:You have already made a big mistake. You are doing the right thing by keeping the baby. About your fears of finding love in the future. Why don't you put to bed first. It's obvious you have to brace up to face the consequences of your actions and decisions alone. Love will find you at the appropriate time if you have learnt your lessons from this the universe will be kind to you. Even if you abort, you may never find love. There are many single mothers who still do well and find love. Just keep the right attitude and learn from your misdeeds. Wishing you the best. In all honesty bringing your matter to NL will complicate matters for you, it will leave you more confused than you were. You only need to brace up for the days ahead... I think you already made your choice. |
EdoBoy90:When AND is used in a statement what does that mean. As long as a candidate does not satisfy both conditions for being declared a winner there will be a rerun. |
