But the divinity of the Father physically dwells in Jesus.

The difference between death by sacrifice and death by Judgement is that one is willing and the other is due to rebellion.

Jesus willingly took our place; for because of our sins we are destined to die and eternal death. While Satan is already condemned to die an eternal death for bringing sin into the world and God didn't send his Son to give a human life, he sent him with eternal life, a life not matter how much you subtract from it for our sakes, it will still be eternal and he would rise.


So God didn't condemn Jesus as he did Satan but glorified him for his role in His plan for our salvation.

If Jesus said he is God, then under the law he is meant to be killed and he would die a sinner. Do you understand and if he is God and lied about it, well then he would have been a liar. This brings us to a better understanding of what Jesus said in Acts 1:7. Honestly, I have struggled to understand that verse until tonight.

When the disciples were asking the Lord Jesus about the timing of His second coming, He answered them in Acts 1:7 which states:

"It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power."

The right thing Jesus was supposed to say is "...the time and the seasons which only the Father knows." If He had said that, it would have put a question on His omniscience. But He said the Father puts that in His power. I actually didn't understand the putting in His power phrase until tonight after reading the response from my brother Nachmonides.

Now, I understand that Jesus is speaking to His disciples here, telling them that it's not their responsibility to know the timing of the future event, - the restoration of the kingdom to Israel which happens only during the second coming. He emphasized that God the Father has reserved the right to determine the timing of the event, and it's not for humans to know or speculate about the exact timing.

This further proves that it's not a matter of Christ not being all knowing but a matter of understanding the individual roles in the Trinity.

Timothy 3:16 in Greek does not have the word God in it, what is written is, mystery of godliness who was manifestated in the flesh and justified by the spirit and seen of angels...

Colossians 2:9 doesn't call Jesus God, but said in him dwells the fullness of God something John wrote Jesus said when he said the Father is in him, and the word there is theotetos referring to God's divine nature in him.


Now if Jesus is God because he is full of God, are we the Holy Spirit because we are full of the Spirit?

The correct statement for a man to make even if such a man had existed before Abraham is "Before Abraham was, I was ."

But Jesus didn't say, He was. He said 'He is ' "Before Abraham was, I am". Meaning I have always being. I've always been existing before Abraham. I have no beginning. I am. There's no time in which I have not existed. I have always existed. I am. Not, "I was."

The Greek eimi means I exist and can also be used to mean I was. So you are wrong

However, to answer the question of why Christ didn't know the time of His coming, it is not a matter of Christ not being all knowing but a matter of respecting the separate responsibilities of the Father and Son. The matter of the timing is exclusively the Father's responsibility.

As many of us prepare to enter the new year, some will step into a place they haven't visited in a long time, "church" or even a "mosque". And while many may not bother with planning or praying for the coming year, there are those of us who will plan and pray, and this for those of us who will.

Now let us see what is written in the bible concerning planning and praying as the new year approaches.

Prov.16.1 To man belong the plans of the heart, but from the LORD comes the reply of the tongue.

† whatever we are planning let us receive God's go ahead, before we go ahead, be it marriage, business, work, investment, relocation or your new year resolution. Note God's response not man's response.

† Even in our planning we must know two things:

1. Prov.16.9 We can make our plans, but the LORD determines our steps.

2. Prov.21.30 Human plans, no matter how wise or well advised, cannot stand against the LORD.

† Because God is the one who determines the future and he already knows the outcome

Isa.46.10 I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say: My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please.

† So before we pray let us know, God already knows and so trust his decisions and directions.

Matt.6.8 Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.

† And if you pray what goes against God's will for your life, if you pray amiss, well you won't get a response now would you.

Jas.4.3 When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.

† But no matter what let's not be anxious for tomorrow or for next year, and while we pray let's pray not with a grumbling heart but with a thankful one, for with thanks and praise we enter God's presence.

Phil.4.6 - Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.
Phil.4.7 - If you do this, you will experience God's peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.


† It is best to enter the new year with the Joy of the Lord which will be our strength and the peace of the Lord which surpasses all understanding.

And in our planning let's remember to,

Prov.3.5 - Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding.
Prov.3.6 - Seek his will in all you do, and he will direct your paths.
Prov.3.7 - Don't be impressed with your own wisdom. Instead, fear the LORD and turn your back on evil.
