Nowenuse:
Dankwambo is not a fulani man pls. He is Terawa by tribe. Majority of Gombe people are not fulanis.
still we don't want any northerner as President again, we are not fooled, the fulanis who are a minority tribe in this country with just a population of 7 million continues to attach themselves to the hausas and other tribes in the north to form a deceptive majority to lord it over the rest of Nigerians. If we are wise from 2019, no northerner should rule us again at least for the next 30 years.

The fulani herdsmen need to be declared as terrorists for this madness to stop and the Federal Government must be decentralized as soon as possible. This is why Buahri and his ilk are against political restructuring cos they know that will the end of the fulanis in Nigeria as they may have to migrate back to Senegal where they originate from.

Most Gas filling bays In Lagos are just explosions waiting to happen , there is alway wanton disregard for safety or safety related thought
processes at most of them from customer making and receiving calls in the fill up bay area to motor vehicles without anti spark gauzes being allowed to drive up to loading bays and employees with very poor knowledge of combustion safety..its really sad
you are very right o, I use to buy gas at this particular gas station years ago and I did notice the way the employees flare the gas at times all in the name of testing when selling to customers.

and my wife just passed there shortly this morning before the explosion. She said the gas smell was so bad indicating that there was a gas leakage. I just thank God because if any phone had rang in the car she was driving, one can only imagine what would have happened.

In summary, I owe God lots of thanksgiving!
Politics › Re: FG Gives Reason For Proposing Cattle Colonies by Goke7: 9:30am On Jan 12, 2018
The cattle colonies can only work in sambisa forest. This policy is dead on arrival and will not solve any problem. It will still give an erroneous view to the fulanis that they can graze anywhere. It's obvious that our politicians and elites are the owners of these cattle and they are only looking for free land for their business instead of investing in the legal purchase of land from the original owners for their cattle rearing business. God will punish these bastards who call themselves our leaders, they loot funds, now they want to loot other people's ancestral lands all in the name of cattle colonies. Nigerians make una shine una eyes o! How long will they continue to rob you blind

oga calm down. You think governance is like the way you all see it on the street? Have you gotten any govt appointment before to know how things work? If Amosun fails to make any impact in Ogun same way Gbenga Daniel did, there's nothing you can do about that. You will just shout on NL and that's all. Give it to Amosun. He's done what not even onabanjo could dream of. He deferred all odds in Ogun politics. He's the first governor to reject any title from any kings. He made it clear that getting those titles make you subservient to those kings and that might be a stumbling blocks in all your programs. If you know what Amosun have done to Ogun state, you won't be saying all this. He's attracted FDI to Ogun state more than his predecessors ever did. Ogun politics is more complicated than any SW states yet this man stand tall and face his fears. Govt is a continuum. He's not a life governor, let his successor continue from where he left it. Tinubu wasn't a superb governor but he paved way for a technocrat in the person of fashola and that's how it will continue to be in Lagos unless opposition takes over power.
Hello am talking about very very basic infrastructure like roads that does not need much grammar o. Does he need the titles to do roads? Excuse me pls. Tinubu did roads especially in some rural parts of Lagos like Ikorodu, ikotun, igando and so on which has open up those places and responsible for the very fast rate of development there today. Amosun had opportunities to do same even in places like ishasi, Lambe, ibafo and so on. Is that too much to ask for. It's not all about FDI alone but very basic amenities

Amosun has brought the change in Ogun. He has laid down the template for other successive regime to embark upon. The law has been passed for compulsory infrastructural development in the coming years in Ogun. The era of paper project is over. There's a reason why OBJ have been supporting him wholeheartedly.
Whenever I pass through sagamu or mowe, I tell anyone I come across that the Govt has no excuse, Amosun would have done better and easily shut the mouth of all his critics

Every community needs a visionary leader, not just Ogun State, as of now, we are proud of who's there, he's not the best, but he has tried a lot. Yes, he concentrated efforts in Abeokuta, please where will you beautify first in your house if not your living room as Abeokuta is the Capital City. Other developmental strides are on going in other LGs and he made this according to the areas perculiarity i.e. farming in Yewa, but people won't talk about them. Lagos didn't get to its level in a day, it's the continuation of succesive government.

Ogun will get there, it's just a matter of time and commitment to progress.
Any visionary Ogun govt will not joke with the Sagamu-mowe axis or even the ota-agbara axis, why must I go all the way to abeokuta to get any govt approval for a thing. Ogun need to wake up, that's my state of origin. we are in the technological age, ogun does not need to even compete with Lagos but just concentrate on areas that will easily set its developmental indices in a geometrical progression. The Govt does not have any excuse not to have improve infrastructure in all the industrial zones in the state. It has no excuse at all. I don't buy your idea of doing the living room first, it doesn't apply here. When election time come, they will campaign in those neglected areas, what will they tell the people?

Amosun needs to be told that Ogun state goes beyond Abeokuta. He is doing a lot in the infrastructure sctor but he needs to visit places like Sango, Ota, Ibafo, Mowe and the like. If he does not buold another road in Abeokuta and develops these places maybe his popularity wont be on a downward stride.
Ogun state need a visionary Govt that will be stable and continuous like its neigbouring Lagos. By now many of us in Lagos should have relocated to Ogun and just come to Lagos for Business purposes if Ogun knows what it's doing. It's so sad, the land is there, IGR is growing so what is Ogun's problem?

PapaBrowne:
Well, I won’t respond to you the way you wrote. I would just ignore and be civil.

The problem with this kind of victim mentality is that it accords so much power to your perceived enemies which automatically suppresses your own power.

The rule of the game is to ensure that you don’t have to depend on the FG for anything concrete. The problem with every other port in Nigeria is that they are all import dependent. Everybody views port operations from the perspective of how they can access goods from overseas.
If you tweak that perspective and start thinking how you can ship goods first to other African countries and then subsequently to the rest of the world, then you’ll be unto something.
Lagos ports that everybody complains about doesn’t even export one tenth of what Onne and Delta ports export. These 2 ports control 85% of Nigeria’s exports even though it’s just oil.

The great thing about the Gelegele port plan is that it is tied to the massive industrial park which is already being built. And the industrial park is tied to AZura power plant which has been fully built. And the AZura plant is tied to the presence of a gas pipeline hub in Oben that connects much of the gas in the Niger Delta to the rest of the country.

So yes, I think the hegemony up North would try to prevent this from happening, but the Governor is smart and has Dangote heavily invested and we all know that anything Dangote touches moves with speed. So yes, this will see the light of day.
this is the kind of posts we should be seeing on this forum daily instead of all the hue, cry and hate. Brilliant post. well done

Glad you got to verify. Even a kilometre into Niger Republic is not fair on us, he should have gotten Niger Republic to do that 55km to Maradi.
the fulanis in Niger and Nigeria see themselves as one, the fulani enclave are more united and more loyal to themselves than the countries they find themselves in so they see nothing wrong in spending on infrastructure in another country as long it's the same fulani enclave. We are just shouting on this thread for nothing, are we not aware that most abokis on okadas and those who are gatemen in most households are from Niger?

The Fulanis see themselves as a nation on their own irrespective of wherever they are around the globe. My personal reason I don't want any fulani to rule Nigeria anymore. Check them out on wikepedia, you will know more.

. The fact that pastors pay deaf ears to wise advise from the voice reason, does not mean that they won't be rich. And the mere fact that they are rich does not indicate Gods approval. Gods patience is deep, but his patience won't be for eternity. Soon he will move to stamp out all delusive pastors
You are making assumptions, are you better than these pastors? What you have done personally for humanity to prove they are wrong or are you the Holy Spirit

Then Let the church make a provision for 5 million capacity once and for all!! I am just against building and re-building. If Solomon was a Nigerian, He would have abandoned the old auditorium and keep building bigger ones!!!!
So if a church auditorium outgrows its current carrying capacity, they should not expand or rebuild to accommodate more people? You are not making sense man. What was the number of people serving God in the days of Solomon compared to now. Even the solomon temple was re builded several times by the likes of Ezra and Nehemiah. You are just against building because of your personal bias which is None of your business in the first place. They need a bigger auditorium not you.

No!! You should read tour bible and not try to defend the defendless or try to use the bible only for those things that favour you! If Elisha and co are flesh, Are your pastors not also flesh! I dont get your point. Did you not read 1 timothy 1-7? Verse 3 said he must not love money but almost ALL our pastors want to be rich!! whats that??

3 This is a true saying: If a man is eager to be a church leader, he desires an excellent work. 2 A church leader must be without fault; he must have only one wife,[a] be sober, self-controlled, and orderly; he must welcome strangers in his home; he must be able to teach; 3 he must not be a drunkard or a violent man, but gentle and peaceful; he must not love money 4 he must be able to manage his own family well and make his children obey him with all respect. 5 For if a man does not know how to manage his own family, how can he take care of the church of God? 6 He must be mature in the faith, so that he will not swell up with pride and be condemned, as the Devil was. 7 He should be a man who is respected by the people outside the church, so that he will not be disgraced and fall into the Devil's trap.
So pastors building churches and being wealthy due to their hard work and ability to solve problems mean they love money?

Wow your ignorance is so revealing. Pastors will continue to be rich and there is nothing even me and you can do about it. The labourer is worthy of his wages and does not imply he loves money. Its based on biblical principle where God gives power to create wealth. Wealth is different from the love of money which is the root of evil

If not, I dont understand how a pastors wife automatically becomes a pastor. Did God call the 2 of themhuh They have made it look easy.
Learn and increase your knowledge, Jesus even said greater works than he did will his followers and those who believe in Him will do, you guys just comment on what you don't know. Who is Elisha, Ezekiel and co? They were flesh and blood like we are and we have seen the mighty works of God in our days than in their time.

You lack understanding like you have said in your post, read your bible more if indeed you are christian or accept Jesus in your life if you haven't done so to cure your ignorance

Politics › Re: FG May Increase Petrol Price To N180 Per Litre by Goke7: 2:47pm On Jan 05, 2018
Two major permanent solutions to fuel scarcity Crisis:

1. Improve Electric Power supply to reduce petrol demand for household generators and for small businesses. Only cars/vehicles should be using petrol if we are truly serious as a nation and Nigeria should even be preparing for life after solar and electric powered cars come full throttle.

2. Our local refineries must work to address the the issue of sourcing forex for petrol importation [doesn't make sense].

These two major solutions will drive down the cost of petrol and end scarcity forever.

Any other measure na 'patch patch' in naija parlance.
