You are the ones that should be ashamed that even with the level of machiney you deployed to rig the elections PDP were still able to win most of the seats in Rivers. The remaining ones will be recovered at the tribunal. At least you acknowledged Buhari has failed woefully
very soon most of the pdp goons in the ss will start moving in droves to APC especially with the inroads APC has begin to move into the ss, you guys can't play opposition for long, you need govt contracts and alignment with abuja to survive which is your grouse against PMB and his govt. chikena.

But we heard Oga lair mohammed lamenting yesterday that opposition are making lives difficult them. The real opposition is not the PDP politicians. It is the frustrated nigeria people themselves who hungry and are facing extermination due to APC induced poverty.
shame to the PDP, despite the poor performance of APC so far at the centre, PDP is still loosing to APC in some recent elections conducted.

Another BIG SHAME to PDP if they have left their opposition role to hungry Nigerians! what a useless party

What do you mean by opposition? I guess your definition entails Vitriolics and diatribes like APC did. Wrong opposition is beyond that so far pdp has allowed apc to do thier work and when the attacks start, there will be no hiding place for apc!
how has pdp's brand of opposition helped their cause? PDP can never play opposition as they are filled with opportunists as politicians who are merely looking for appointments up and down. This is why we have the sheriff and markafi factions!

If people can rally to insult dalung, why not rally and praise Kachikwu.

Same buhari that appointed dalung also appointed Kachikwu
what do you expect from children of hate. All their wish is woe and woes for their country since their beloved hero was kicked out of office last year. They can never recover from their bitterness.

That Akpabio guy is not fit to be POP leader in the Senate. He's always been a green snake under green grass. Why not keep your brotherhood off the NASS chamber to the 'joint' where you guys meet. This does not send a good message to thousands of your supporters in Rivers and the nation.

If Akpabio and his colleague in the House of Reps had stepped up their game of opposition on the floor and at different fora, the nation wouldn't have felt the absence of an opposition party as such as we currently experience. Now, we have to engulf every decree of the military ruler in Aso Rock either good or bad.

May God deliver Nigeria from these polithiefans who carry broom about and cover themselves with umbrella.
I feel your pain but the truth is PDP does not see itself as an opposition party, they are still deluding themselves that they are on recess out of power, reason for the huge amount of wailing especially by their teeming fans on social media.

We have no opposition party cos the ss and the se who make up the majority of PDP cannot play opposition as they have no experience since they have never been there historically. After 2019, most ss and se politicians will cross over to APC and even now many secretly have joined APC its just the fear of their people that has prevented their public declaration.

A mere press statement is not enough o, that was how all the voices heard in ekitigate audio tape denied initially until they all started confessing one by one later. Mr Wike please do the needful by taking this headlong with saharareporters if you are truly innocent.

Mallam Okorocha, you failed the good people of Imo, your golden light before coming into government faded on the alter of poor performance, insensitive to the plight of the people and flamboyant waste of the state resources.

I used to be one of your admirers, but seized since you joined the coven of darkness called APC.

Btw: can you tell us how much your 2016 Christmas tree will cost Imo state tax payers huh

Last year it cost the state 600 MILLION NAIRA for you to build a senseless tree in the face of owning 8 months salaries and pension.

Okorocha, posterity will judge you.

Shameful!
your problem with okorocha is just because he is in APC simple. Not poor performance at all bruv. There was theordre orji who was governor of Abia for 8 years yet you guys don't blast him like Okorocha because he is PDP.

How will CAN, PFN and co respond to this now, if they speak against it, then it will be like what do you guys really want? If they speak for it, then finally they entered the trap where they can no longer speak against the sharia court system.

Interesting times ahead, the earlier we do away with religious bigotry, then Nigeria will develop very fast.

oh PMB is your problem I see, he was the one that took the girl and put hijab on her head ba? This is what we have been saying since on this thread, our bigotry against someone we never wanted to be leader is the reason we must also promote hatred against his people and his religion.

Congrats, the christian court has passed the second reading so when it succeeds in checking the so called powerful north according to you and
eradicate girls being taken by force and hijab put on their head, pls let us know so we can celebrate together.

I am a practicing Christian but I have to state that Christianity is not meant to replace civil law. As a faith, it is about our poersonal relationship with God and men of all race and creed. In fact, the Bible recognized civil authority as God ordained and enjoin Christian to abide by laws of the land as long as it doesnt conflict with our faith. Jesus said his Kingdom is not of this world, why are religious titleholders trying to change that?
truth is we have allowed those who are not truly Christians to speak for Christendom especially with the likes of ffk and fayose, their inciting statements against others have not help matters, some of us Christians foolishly taught they were fighting fo us as christians and sorry the likes of Rev father kukah has not help issues, how do you explain rev kukah visiting ffk and other pdp politicians in detention all in the name of solidarity. stuff like that makes the church look weak but when you talk other christians shout you down all because they hate PMB a muslim.

We brought this on ourselves, I know it will come to this when GEJ was going round churches posing as a christian to cover all his incompetence as a leader, he also had the likes of Pastor Ayo fueling him on and so deepening the wall of division btw Christians and muslims.

Tonye, this is the truth, we have allowed those who are not Christians to set the standard for the rest of us [Christians] and I repeat only God can bail us out, Have you been reading statements from the new CAN President since he became President of CAN, mhen that guy no be am o, Am also waiting for his statement on the eccl or wetin you call am sef christian bill. That's exactly my point!. The christians and Muslims in Nigeria believe they own Nigeria, that's why they do as they please and shove their dogmatic archaic beliefs down other people's throat.

If they can have what they want, why shouldn't others have what they want also?
Honestly as a christian I feel ashamed about certain things, when you talk, other Christians say you are supporting islam. Do you know am against Churches owning universities or even banks? a Christian individual can but not church entities yet when you talk they say after all the muslims have theirs, shebi churches now have universities and banks, now we want courts now.

We are killing our nation cos its now a 'dog eat dog' competition. Am sick of Nigeria, the moment you have hope that things are on track, the next moment we go 50 years backward, very soon this country will not even contain you and I with the way we are going.

There is also another yeye bill again where Lagos, Kano and Anambra will all be given special status to pacify those who were annoyed with the Lagos special status bill initially. what sort of country is this?

Frankly, I share in the belief that whoever drafted the 1999 constitution, did so with a clear cut agenda, that is, the plan to enshrine Islam into the law of Nigeria.

Yes, I understand why the christians want their own court. Surely, if it's good for the goose it's good for the gander.

Islam and christianity (it's followers) have wrecked more havoc than any religious group in this country.

The continuous 'cold war' between this two religious group is dividing this country. So let them have what they want, next the atheist and traditionalist will come and demand for their own court.

Let's see who will be smiling at the end of the day. A people that is brain wash with religion can and will never have any thing going for them.

If our christians and Muslims have an aorta of sense in that lobotomized thing they call a brain, they should take a look at overtly religious country like Saudi Arabia, U.A.E and Vatican City, then compare it with Nigeria, I believe the difference is clear, like 7-Up.

You are absolutely correct but the Pastors does not define Christianity. Most of them are misbehaving seriously and embarrassing the faith, but we can't because of them accept their misbehaviour as legitimate, thereby, losing out in the Christian race.

On what Pastor Adefarasin did, it is a welcome development, if others fail to follow, that is their business. But we must resist both Ecclesiastical and Sharia courts.
oga, I will be the most surprised if that christian bill is not passed, its a bait and it has divided Christians already, have you heard CAN and PFN come out to speak against this bill? even on nairaland, we Christians are already divided, its a bait that has exposed Christians on nairaland [especially ffk followers] those who fuel religious hatred and bigotry against muslims as some of them surprisingly are kicking against the bill like you. The Muslims got us here, only God can fight our battle now. Even if the Christians in the legislature shout the bill down, the muslims will make sure it sail thru and remember dem get the number o!
