onatisi: Sit down there and keep consoling urself ,I am a realist and I don't believe in sentiments or emotions ,I look at issues realistically and tell the truth. What is my business with buhari or bubu, that is a complete mundane excuse for governance stupidity. When ppl warn ,u say they don't like buhari, whereas it is the truth. How can a government that cant pay its present workforce salaries say it will employ additional 300,000 and u think that sustainable?even right now as we speak it is costing importers almost 500N to send money abroad for goods witout adding clearing fees and other charges ,common sense only needs to be applied for one to know that goods will cost more in January, the facts are there but when one says these things ur brain automatically tune to pdp/apc arguments.don't worry enjoy ur change market forces at the end of the day determines price of goods and services, if a businessman can't cope with a particular line of business, its better he closes down and gets into another business line and let others who can cope enter or continue that line of business, after all the erisco guy closed down his factory and said he too wants to import instead, abi he no consider the money he too will send abroad for business or clearing fees? How do you justify the astronomical increase in price of goods and services that has nothing to do with dollar rate? Does it make any economic sense? The business model of many of our fellow Nigerians are wrong, we complain, yet the Asians in our country keep thriving even in the midst of recession and creating many business outfits. |

onatisi: Don't worry, fuel price hike will come next year ,they have already sounded out the warning twice its so funny the way you keep supporting the hike in price of goods and services even when its economically unreasonable just because you do not like the face of the man in the villa. I know how dissappointed you are that the planned hike in data prices did not go on as expected and you are here even supporting the poor data services expected. Something is definitely wrong with us as Nigerians, wish ourselves failure just because our brother is not the one in charge, very petty of us. |

onatisi: Bros o only gave reasons why they may want to increase their tarrif. Power has even worsened in Nigeria and don't forget that the rate of dollars 2 months ago isn't the same rate today. Whichever way u want to look at it ,the point remains that they are now spending more than before its not by force to remain in telecom business nah, they can go into rice farming if telecom business is no longer lucrative. We keep fooling ourselves in Nigeria, very soon fuel marketers association will come and threaten us too with fuel scarcity. Nigerian businessmen are too naive and emotional for business, the same harsh business climate is where the indians, lebanese, chinese and co keeps thiving. Shoprite keeps opening stores even in remote places in the same economy where dollar and cost of business is high. |

What about results? What about achievements? Becoming one of the greatest coaches in the history of coaching Super Eagles?
I guess, you never noticed any.
Reduced the value? Like winning the AFCON and qualifying us for the World Cup. Stop arguing with Keshi's haters sir, they will never see anything good in the man even after death. Until another coach be it foreign or local takes Nigeria to the quarter-finals of the world cup, keshi remains Nigeria's best coach. The present coach we are all celebrating today can still blow our world cup dreams away. Its only two matches he has played so far. |

TheSuperNerd: Eagles donate to Echiejile, Akpeyi’s weddings
Players of the Super Eagles showed their solidarity with two of their own, as they donated over N1million to the upcoming weddings of Elderson Echiejile and Daniel Akpeyi.
The players, who received N350, 000 each as their camp allowance following the 3-1 win over Algeria, but instead of going home with the entire sum, agreed to donate N50,000 each to Echiejile and Akpeyi, as their own contribution to the players’ weddings next month.

South Africa-based goalkeeper Akpeyi will walk down the aisle with his bride on December 29 in Abiriba, Abia State, while defender Echiejile, who is on loan at Belgian club Standard Liege from Monaco, will exchange vows the following day being the 30th, in Warri, Delta State.
Both players were in action for the Super Eagles as they dumped the Desert Foxes of Algeria 3-1 on Saturday in Uyo in a 2018 World Cup qualifier.
They will be the latest Nigeria internationals to walk down the aisle after midfielder Ogenyi Onazi, who got married earlier in the year.

Mustay: I am sure or I want to believe the security team of both countries would have sorted that out. Even when receiving gifts, they check the gifts out before handling.
Dates are traditional to Moroccans and they use it in welcoming guests at events or what have you.
It is what is typically used to break fasts in Islam too, so, judging by the date (Monday) and time the President arrived, is it possible he was breaking his fast? #JustSaying Thank you very much for your response. |

galeiiTNA: If GEJ is arrested today, there will be an uproar from the ss/se people. The consequence will be dire for the nation.
If TINUBU is arrested, nothing will happen. He will just be another sacrifice given by Yoruba to please their Hausa gods. Just like awo, mko, giwa etc Lies, with the bad economy, there will be grave consequences bruv. Yes many folks dislike Tinubu but they respect his political sagacity of which results abound. PMB will not go that route, what he is doing now is the limit he can go. There were grave consequences with the death of MKO and obj had to be President to appease the sw. Nigeria continues to pay its dues to awolowo as every political dispensation since 1999 has an awo family member compensated in one way or the other till today. As for Giwa, I wonder who told you he is a yoruba man. |

He is still be undisputed political leader of the SW, reason they are trying to cut him to size asap but surely that will come with grave consequences. |

ELKHALIFAISIS: IBB said the people who asked him to annul the 1993 elections are Yorubas. Nigerians have known Yoruba's shiftiness and two sided loud- mouthing. The Yoruba elite and area-boy politics; shown itself over the years to be incapable of rising above narrow tribal interests and reciprocating goodwill from other sections of the country by treating other groups with respect. Practically every crisis in Nigeria since independence has its roots in this attitude.... Fulani's has used and dumped him the way they used AFONJA and you believed IBB abi? now that's hilarious |

Subsidy is back period. This is actually what the marketers want, all the grammar about landing costs are just lies and deceit. The more you look, the less you see. If am PMB, I will even allow for price increase and let's see how many people will buy.
The forces of demand and supply is not going down well with the players in the downstream sector, Christmas is coming and they need mega bucks to satisfy their greed as usual.
If am PMB, I will pick price increase over subsidy payments. |
