Candiesramah: It's this your wife that will kill you. It's like once some of you men get married, you trade your sense of reasoning along the way. Just imagine the nonsense you defended. What was wrong in your mum requesting an addition in your wedding guest list? Would that your wife have rejected it if it had come from her mother? She should be happy she got a good mother-in-law willing to make things work out, else, she would have been shown what's like to have issues with mothers-in-law. I don't blame her sha, it's you I blame.
I think the guy must have devalued her mother before the wife hence she lost all regards for her. Possibly issues that led to her divorce. One must be careful in discussing certain issues about your family members if you want their respect intact especially if your spouse get as e be.
President coming from your region means little or nothing, it usually doesn't translate to development to your region except to the elites from that regions. I dont care who becomes the president all we want is someone who has passion for progress.

Platini7: Please i created this moniker to seek advise on this issue.
I got married to my wife in 2018 and there's already an issue that is threatening our young marriage.
We dated briefly 10 years ago before she travelled to the US for schooling. She stayed there for a while and then got into a relationship over there with a guy i know (I wasn't close friends with the guy). I had to move on with my life and got into a relationship of my own here in Nigeria. Back then, i use to have this silly habit of creating anonymous facebook accounts where i would add people i know and comment on their posts and pictures without them ever knowing i was the one. I dropped many comments back then and one such incident happened to be a time i commented on her close friend's picture, telling her (the friend) she was pretty and how i wanted her. This was almost 10 years ago and i swear i never meant any of those words. It was just a silly joke and i had completely forgotten all that. My wife returned Nigeria in 2016 and somehow we reconnected and got married in 2018.
Just last week, she stumbled on those posts i made in 2010-2011 and got really heartbroken and upset. Right now, even after pleading with her, she says she wants to quit the marriage. She packed a few of her stuff and travelled home to Abia state from our base in Lagos. So far, what she told her family in the east is that she just came back to visit them for a little while because she couldn't come back during xmas. Now she's threatening that i won't see my 1 year old son anytime soon cos she's already making plans of relocating abroad for good.
Please my question is this; Do you think this issue is enough to cause this kind of disharmony in our home? What do you advice? Thank you
You better confess your sins to her pare its so that they can settle the matter and if she still no gree, put a tag on her so that anytime she moves close to the airport just call immigration. Otherwise you are on a long ...
soobaba: Hi guys, So I'll be very direct and summarize this as possible. But please bear with me if I get carried away...
I've been been dating my girlfriend for a year now and we are very serious and I'm even considering proposing to her, but we are not based in the same town.
So I called her with another number last night, she couldn't recognize my voice cause I sounded different, so I decided to play around cause we gist and make fun of each other a lot. So I acted like I was someone who got her number and is trying to toast her.
She asked who was speaking and I said Victor, that I got her number when I saw her in the bank, we were on the same queue, so I copied her number from her teller, she laughed and all, so after all the lines I poured out, she was just laughing and flowing along, so I asked if we could see that night, but she said it was late but I had to persuade her, so she agreed that I instead come to her place to see her. "This is someone she hasn't met before and she agreed for him to come see her at her place, in the night for that matter".
So I asked for her address and she gave out her real address, asked if she has a boyfriend and she said yes but we ain't in the same town. I got upset and had to open up and ask why she's cheating on her guy? At this point she was mute and ended the call. I called back but she didn't answer anymore.
So I just dropped a message on WhatsApp that I was disappointed.
Her reply was devastating: she wrote; "keep your disappointment in your pocket. Don't even get me more angry. Just do yourself a favor by not ever mentioning me in your mouth again. Remove everything that has to do with me in your phone and life. Rubbish. No be only disappointment. Grow up. Comot for my front make I see road jor..."
I haven't replied her yet, don't even know what to say to her right now, thought about calling her but my brother told me not to, that I should just free her. Please guys what should I do?
Moderator please help me move this to front page...
Just move on but always remember that everyone is on probation in a relationship until you say I do at the alter.

I presume this is a sloth because of how slow it is. I didn't even know we have it in Nigeria. It a very firm grip with the limbs and the teeth. Treat it carefully if you come across it because it bites hard (I didn't know if it's venomous)
Before I got married my husband said he needed 2 children while I wanted twins but our second pregnancy was twins so we had 3 instead. Then I took implant so to avoid getting pregnant again but my system became messed up that my monthly flow would last for 2 to 3 weeks. So after 3 years I decided to remove it so to get back myself only for me to get pregnant instead and I found out when I was already 3 months gone and the pregnancy is causing me to be in so much pain that I can’t move at times making my husband do everything at home cause i’m always in bed Now I discovered my husband is chatting another lady calling her babe and the rest although he assured me that he accepts this baby but I feel we are getting apart by the day.what do you suggest i do? I can’t even have proper sex with him because my heart rate increases and I can’t move afterwards. Yes he was the one who took me to the hospital for removal we have been together for 11+years now Just before I got pregnant I was having a lot of guys wooing me that my husband became very active in his affections towards me and it made me feel like I’m being courted again then this happened The worst part is that I’m in physical pain. I can’t satisfy his desires. He even made me watch porn movies with him but I’m just too tired to respond to him. I have never been like this but I don’t know what to do He has no parents as they pass away his senior brother just got married and always asks for marriage tips from us so saying this to him now I just can’t bring myself to do so. Should I still keep the baby although I can’t bring myself to do anything to my child i just feel all this wouldn’t have come up if I didn’t get pregnant.

Relax your mind, this too shall pass, just do what you can, pray for him often and always tell him you appreciate his effort, he should bear with you and you will make it up to him. Once again relax your mind, enjoy yourselve.
NihiIist: You invite a girl to come over, she promises you. Because of her, you quickly arrange your house, clean everywhere, wash your toilet clean, lay your bed and spray airfreshner. You even down a bottle of alomo bitters and all sorts of concoction just in case.
The time for her to come is here as you agreed and well you decided to give her about an hour or so maybe she'll show up but she doesn't.
You call her phone to ask her whatsup, she's not picking, some will even switch off their phone.
Pls if you know you wouldn't come, you shouldn't have made the promise. It's nothing but wickedness
Come to slaughter house abii? Have you ever seen any cow smiling to abattoir? They always dragged. When she failed to turn up you better thank your God perhaps na you for be the cow.
Arab spring loading. This is a wicked regime, imagine what they would have done if they actually have nuclear weapon. Killing innocent souls just like that.
OdefaGirl: A 2-year-old girl was allegedly strangled to death by a 16-year-old housemaid yesterday January 11, for reportedly refusing to wear her clothes after having her bath.

So I'm an aspiring medical student. I've been at home since 2016 till date. I wrote JAMB 4 Times. The first score was 196, second was 203, third was 210 and I worked harder and got 218 this year.
Yes it is not enough because I'm an average student hoping to study pharmacy in university of Uyo but I got my first admission from Obong University Uyo to study biochemistry and I agreed but honestly I hate the course. It has no relationship with what I want to do.
Now I'm scared of never getting to study what I really want.
Is there anyway I can study pharmacy because I can't do transfer and change my course?
Or do I write jamb again?
Write another jamb or better still drop for Nursing.
The organisation in a statement claimed Hanaan was not on a private visit to Bauchi State but on official assignment to the Northeast state to represent her father
"1 year in and I can’t even begin to say how blessed I am that it’s you I am doing this love something with.
You amuse me, you make me laugh, hard, you are so beautiful, I am lucky I get to love you forever. Here’s to more beautiful memories together, doing great exploits and living our lives on our terms. Love you forever babe."
Its important we educate our wards the importance of not giving up on life no matter what. Life is a precious gift and the beauty of it is our we summerslam every challenges that came our ways.
Hope is a beautiful and good thing, dont loose it no matter your condition. It's not over and death is not an escape from your problem, only cowards flee without knowing what lies ahead after life. God will definitely help you, just turn to him even if all men failed you.. God said 49:15 "Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you!
Jesus said in Matthew 6
If God makes what grows in the field so beautiful, what do you think he will do for you? It’s just grass—one day it’s alive, and the next day someone throws it into a fire. But God cares enough to make it beautiful. Surely he will do much more for you. Your faith is so small! That’s what those people who don’t know God are always thinking about. Don’t worry, because your Father in heaven knows that you need all these things. What you should want most is God’s kingdom and doing what he wants you to do. Then he will give you all these other things you need. So don’t worry about tomorrow. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Tomorrow will have its own worries. SecretSpy666: I registered on this platform to tell my story and encourage other Nigerian youths who may have humble background like me, not to give up.
I did one of the craziest wedding in human history. I can’t stop laughing now as God has changed our story
COST OF THE WEDDING IN DETAIL: Statutory marriage (court wedding) – took place in December, 2015
The court wedding was contracted at the marriage registry of Kano State, opposite Emir Sanusi’s palace, Kano municipal. Here are what I spent: 1) Wedding Certificate fee N8,000 2) Wedding ring N1,500 3) Clothes for the wedding for both of us (including sewing) N13, 600 4) Two crates of multina N5000 5) One carton of Digestive biscuit N600 6) Transport for both of us (kake napep) N200 (to and fro)
Total: N 28,900
No reception
Few invitees and no much celebrations
TRADITIONAL WEDDING: I spent about 35,000 including clothes.
HOW IT STARTED
I was posted to Kano for my NYSC in 2014 August, Batch B. I fell in love with this beautiful lady and we had similar historical background. Before I completed my NYSC, I got admission to Bayero University for my master degree programme (march, 2015). I didn’t have what it takes for marriage and there was no help from anywhere. I really wanted to dump her and focus on my study but she never let me go.
She told me she want to go for master too, we hurriedly applied for her during the late application period, she was lucky she got admission to study community health. She took me to her parents who are based in Kaduna but are from Okrika in River state. Her parents are educated and gave me good advice and encourage us to get serious with our studies. The father told me to pay N5,000 as bride price and I spent about 30,000 for a very quiet traditional wedding.
In Kano, we live in a single room (self contain) opposite Bayero University gate, going to school together. I started a part time teaching with Al-Furkaan Science Academy with 18,000 salary and also work it for her to be teaching there too for 15,000 salary. The school management did not know that we are couple. Some teachers there were even trying to talk to her…. After our coursework, as if God was waiting for us to complete the coursework, boom!!! I was called by an agro allied company based in kano for interview. I applied online for the job. I got the job and we were both happy!!!
Three months later, my wife got a job with an NGO working in communities in Kano and Jigawa. Not long after, we moved to a two bedroom flat and got a car. We had a baby boy now and building a house in Otukpo, Benue state.
THIS IS MY TESTIMONY…… Start little and God we increase it… I was so ashamed then and the people laughing at us them are now coming to begg us for money and support.
Now my wife is saying we should do a flamboyant, expensive, and gorgeous church wedding and invite all the people we invited during the low-key court and traditional marriage...and invite all friends, foes and all the people laughing at us at that time....
You sha owe us a plate of rice and drinks. Anyways, make sure you pray about it before you decides to do a flamboyant whatever, so that you will not work against your star. You dont need to proof a point or owe anyone.
You might have been successful because of your humility or because the "bad people" were taken unaware of your prospects in life, dont wake them up if you are not ready spiritually for them.
Wait till when you have crossed the bench mark of poverty to prosperity. Once again, my humble opinion.
