Train Your Spiritual Faculties . - Monday, May 11th .

Pastor Chris

But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned (1 Corinthians 2:14).

There's a higher life; there's a higher realm; it's the realm of the Spirit. You were born into that realm when you were born again. So, you actually live in two worlds contemporaneously; you function in both of them. You recognize one through your physical senses, and you recognize the other through your spirit - your spiritual faculties.

The ministry of the Gospel brings spiritual realities into the natural world as men hear, understand and act on the message. However, there're not so many people who think spiritually; they think "naturally" all the time even though they're Christians, failing to realise that we belong in a spiritual kingdom. They function mostly by their natural faculties - flesh; and they that are in the flesh can't please God (Romans 8:8 ).

That's the reason for the training of our spiritual senses through God's Word and the Holy Spirit, so you can hear, see, and perceive the things of the Spirit. You can only understand the things of God through your spiritual faculties. The natural man can't understand the things of God, because they're spiritually discerned.

We're in a kingdom where sickness, defeat, poverty, and failure aren't real. However, your spiritual faculties must be constantly trained through the Word of God so you can appropriate the realities of our spiritual Kingdom in your life.

Confession...
I walk and live in the Spirit every day, with my spiritual antenna constantly in tune with God, because I’m not of this world. I’m Spirit-ruled, Spirit-controlled, and Spirit-dominated; therefore, I’m able to appropriate the realities and blessings of the heavenly Kingdom to which I belong, and in my personal life. Amen.

Ask Of Him! - Sunday, May 10th .

Pastor Chris

Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession (Psalm 2:8 ).

What an awesome invitation from the Lord! He's inviting you to ask Him for the salvation of the souls of men in your world (your neighborhood, workplace, etc.). God wants to give you the souls of men, so you can fill them with the Word, nurture them in the way of righteousness and teach them how to live the Christ-life! However, you'd have to ask in intercession. Pray for the lost that they may receive salvation.

In Matthew 28:19-20, Jesus said, "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you...." That's the charge given to us. You therefore have a God-ordained right to ask for the souls of men; and when you ask, receive, because the Word has already been given that He who asked shall be given (Matthew 7:7).

If you're a cell-group leader, a fellowship coordinator or even a Pastor, practise this. Take the limits off and be bold to say, "Blessed Father, in the Name of the Lord Jesus, I receive so-and-so number of souls into this fellowship, with the ability to retain and nurture them in the way of righteousness". When you do, the Lord will give you visions and ideas, on how and what to do to make it happen.

It's time to lay claims to the souls of the unsaved in your world. It doesn't matter where you function. He said, "Ask and I will do it!" So, act on the Word and ask. Don't ask and say, "I'm waiting on God to do it; no. When you ask, believe it's done, and act accordingly! You'll see results. Halleluiah!

Prayer...
Dear Father, I thank you for the ability of the Spirit granted me to preach the Gospel of Christ to the lost. Today, I ask for a mighty harvest of souls as your Gospel is taught and preached around the world! Your Word prevails mightily in the hearts of the unconverted, destroying religious barriers and eliminating the wrong mindsets, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Hebrews 4:16
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

"Light Afflictions!" - Saturday, May 9th .

Pastor Chris

For our light, momentary affliction (this slight distress of the passing hour) is ever more and more abundantly preparing and producing and achieving for us an everlasting weight of glory [beyond all measure, excessively surpassing all comparisons and all calculations, a vast and transcendent glory and blessedness never to cease!] (2 Corinthians 4:17 AMP).

There's so much truth and knowledge embedded in our opening verse. The King James Version says, "For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory". The Word calls the troubles and challenges you face in your job, health, finances etc., light afflictions.

So, the next time you're facing some challenges, or there's a brother or sister who's going through difficult times, let him or her know that it's a light affliction, and therefore, will not stay, because it came to pass; it's for a short time. Those afflictions prepare, produce, and achieve for you an everlasting weight of glory - a vast and transcendent glory and blessedness that'll never cease! Blessed be God!

This means that if you thought your life was glorious before the "light afflictions" came, the glory that's coming, far outweighs whatever level of glory you've experienced so far. So what? Don't give up! Hold on to God's Word! Let your life and all that concerns you: your family, business, academics, job, health, finances, etc., be founded on the Word! The Lord Jesus said in Luke 6:47-48, "Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like: He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock".

It doesn't matter what comes against you, as long as you're founded on the Word, you'll prevail. You can eyeball the devil and say, "Throw your best shot!" The contrary wind can be as fierce as ever; the flood can rise to its summit, but you'll remain triumphant! Glory to God!

Prayer...
Dear heavenly Father, I thank you for the times of refreshing that your Word has delivered to me today. I see life from the mountaintop because I see my victories already, in the Word. Therefore, I'm flying on the wings of the Spirit, knowing that the challenges I face "came, to pass". My life is for your glory, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

The Good Treasures Of The Heart! - Friday, May 8th .

Pastor Chris

A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things (Matthew 12:35).

Proverbs 4:23 parallels what the Lord Jesus said in the opening verse; it says, "Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life". This is extraordinary! It means your spirit is a reservoir of good things; you can bring forth anything you want from within you.

Imagine that you've always wanted to established a certain kind of business, but getting the capital has been a challenge; don't wait for anyone to bring the money to you; bring it from within you! The important thing isn't the capital you need for the business but what you can see in your heart! Can you see the business? If you hold on to the picture of the business, you don't have to worry about how the capital will navigate you, or who God would use to make it happen.

Understand this: anything and everything that's consistent with life and godliness has already been given to you; it's all in your spirit! The Bible says, "Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear" (Hebrews 11:3).

Ephesians 1:3 says, "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ". If He has blessed you with all spiritual blessings in the heavenly realms, it means that you already have every good thing that exists in the spirit-realm; they're in your spirit! Therefore, you can bring forth life from within you. You can call forth your blessings. Halleluiah.

Prayer...
Dear Father, I thank you for the efficacy of your Word. As I meditate on it today, my faith is built up. Thank you Lord for my heart is filled with goodness by reason of your Word in me, and daily, as occasion demands, I bring forth good things from my spirit, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Favour Others - Thursday, May 7th .

Pastor Chris

Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren (1 John 3:16).

There's no culture or law against loving and helping others. Part of your calling in Christ is to be a "lifter and blesser" of others. Show them favour. The Bible says freely you have received, freely should you also give (Matthew 10:8 ). If you know how to expect and receive favour from God, you must be willing to express the same favour to others. Never stop giving to others.

Love is the hallmark of our Christian walk. Our opening verse says, "Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren". It's not talking about going to the cross to die for the brethren. It's talking about being selfless, giving to, and helping others, expecting nothing in return.

Are you in a position to help someone? Make sure you do it. Give a helping hand. Maybe God placed you where you are because He knew a time of need would come for someone or certain people, and you'd be the solution. You've been blessed to become a helper. God has set up His headquarters in you, so you'll be the dispenser of His goodness and favours to others.

There might be those who aren't as financially established as you are, and might require your help. Don't ignore them. If you want to see the greater manifestation of the Spirit in your life, love others genuinely, and demonstrate it. People came to Jesus from everywhere, not just because He was a miracle worker, but they could see that He loved; they felt and experienced His love. Be that kind of person.

Prayer...
Dear Father, I thank you for making me a solution provider, and for making me sensitive to the needs of others! I'm conscious that I'm a dispenser of your goodness and extension of your arm of favour to others. You've enabled me to be a helper and a lifter of others, for your glory, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

No, you have not.
Prayer is not .......
Is not the same thing as:
Prayer is ......
So again, can you give a plain English definition of prayer?
I have. Too bad you can't comprehend. I can't help you any further.

I don't recall mentioning anything about the question you're asking. But if you mean whether we can ask God for enablement see Acts 4:
"29 And now, Lord, look upon their threats and grant to your servants to continue to speak your word with all boldness,
30 while you stretch out your hand to heal, and signs and wonders are performed through the name of your holy servant Jesus
."
Question was, do we pray to God to give us power, especially after we've received the Holy Spirit? It's OK if you cannot understand this question. If you can, a yes or no will be fine.

Btw, the prayer area is one area where cults veer off and show their true colour!!

I gave a simple definition of prayer. I wish you will do same, then maybe we can begin to see where you missed the mark.

So, can you give a plain English definition of prayer?
I already did. I pointed out that prayer is not all about requests and our needs... It is most importantly a communion with the Godhead. When you get to this stage, and discover that only babes pray to get stuffs done all the time. This phase, you pray not because you have to, but because you want to.

Now, my question is, do we pray to God to give us power, especially after we've received the Holy Spirit?

I see this thread is dead already, we can comfortably discuss our prayer topic, no?
Christianity EtcRe: The Christ Embassy Church Is A Cult by Gombs(m): 6:04am On May 06, 2015
trustman:
Prayer, biblical prayer then, is simply a request or some other expression (e.g. thanks) by a subordinate – the believer, addressed to a superior – God.

First, prayer isn’t all about asking God for what you need;
rather, and more importantly, prayer is a romance of righteousness: a time to fellowship in the communion of the God-kind.
cool cool

Now you can see how your “romance of righteousness: a time to fellowship in the communion of the God-kind” goes way off what true biblical prayer is.
Prayer is more importantly a time of fellowship with the Father. Your problem with the above is the word 'romance', which I think WX should induct as one of CE cultic terms.

Go read all Paul's prayers, you may understand better that "prayer is a romance of righteousness: a time to fellowship in the communion of the God-kind."

We Have Complete Access To The Inheritance! - Wednesday, May 6th .

Pastor Chris

Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ (Galatians 4:7).

In John 16:15, Jesus said, "All things that the Father hath are mine...." What a statement! He wasn't just being audacious; He said it as a matter of absolute reality. The Word shows that He is the heir of all things and He made the whole world (Hebrews 1:2). Are you aware that like Him, everything the Father has belongs to you? If everything the Father has belongs to Jesus, then everything that belongs to the Father also belongs to you, because we're joint heirs with the resurrected Christ!

In 1 Corinthians 3:21, Paul writes, "Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours". The Almighty God, the owner of all things is telling you that all things are yours. If all things are yours, how then can you be broke? Meditate on this sufficiently until it gives you a new mindset. David said, "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters" (Psalm 23:1-2). What a declaration! What a testimony! This should be your testimony too, because you're the seed of Abraham.

Let's read our opening scripture from The Message translation: "Doesn't that privilege of intimate conversation with God make it plain that you are not a slave, but a child? And if you are a child, you're also an heir, with complete access to the inheritance?" We have complete access to "the inheritance!" There's an inheritance for you in Christ Jesus. Ephesians 1:11 says in Him we have obtained an inheritance. Glory to God!

Understand this: we're joint heirs with the risen Christ. Do you know what that means? He's the possessor of heaven and earth, and we're joint heirs with Him. What could be better? Paul said the world is yours! So what do you want? There's nothing that's not covered in this. You're an heir of God now, and everything He has belongs to you. He qualified you to be a partaker of the inheritance of the saints in the Kingdom of light; enjoy your inheritance.

Confession...
All things are mine! I walk in the reality of my inheritance in Christ today! My life is upward and forward only! I'm not moved by inflation, economic downturns and meltdowns, because I play by a different set of rules! I'm an heir of God, with complete access to an incorruptible inheritance!

The Impact of His life in You . Tuesday, May 5

Pastor Chris

And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son (1 John 5:11).

The Christian is one who has received eternal life. Eternal life is the life and nature of God, which is in Jesus Christ. This is the life that Jesus brought to the world, and He imparts it to the spirit of the one who believes in Him.

Unfortunately, many don’t know what this glorious eternal life is; its impact in, and upon, the one that has it! They think eternal life is that life which you get when you get to heaven. But that’s not true. The one who doesn’t have eternal life on earth wouldn’t even go to heaven. John said, “These things have I written unto you...that ye may know that ye have eternal life...” (1 John 5:13). Why did he emphasize eternal life as our present-hour reality? Why is it so important that we have and live with the consciousness that we have the God-life now?

It’s because of the impact and implication of that God-life in, and for, the one who has it. For example, cancer or any other disease or infirmity shouldn’t thrive in the body of the one who has eternal life. This doesn’t mean that you may not be “attacked” by cancer; but that’s what it is: “an attack!” You don’t let it stay! You declare, “I have eternal life! Therefore, in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, get out of my body! I refuse to accommodate you!” The moment you say that, it stops growing and starts shrinking, until it passes out of your body. This is the effect of eternal life in you.

Irrespective of the pain you might be feeling, or the situation you find yourself in, keep declaring, “Eternal life is at work in me!” This life which you’ve received isn’t for nothing! Refuse to accept disease and infections in your body; refuse anything that’s of the devil, because the life in you is the God-life; it’s impregnable.

Confession..
Eternal life is at work in me, in every fibre of my being, in every cell of my blood, and in every bone of my body! I live transcendently above sickness, disease, and infirmities! I’m superior to Satan and the elements of this world, because divine life works in me! Glory to God!

[s]Last Wednesday I referred a buddy of mine this strange Oyaks exhortation to prayerlessness. He is a long time ardent fan or Oyaks, always ceaselessly sharing how 'powerful' and 'wise' he is. The divorce saga somewhat slowed his adoration but he was still praising him.

Oyaks point as readily regurgitated by Gombs on another thread here is simple; believers have power of God they received at the baptism of the Spirit and prayers don't add nothing to it. A prayerless Christian and a prayerful one have the same power. I aksd my friend just as I aksd Gombs what the essence of prayer is in that case. Gombs as expected played dumb, ignored it. My friend on the other hand went on a day long soul searching trying to make sense of the piece. So we met yesterday and he told me he is convinced that's a doctrine of Devils; teaching prayerlessness. That's what Oyaks did in an attempt to debunk an old cliche 'a prayerless Christian a powerless christian'. Funny enough, he contradicts his own teachings on James 5:16

If only CEC sheeple thought through the garbage they are routinely served some would open their eyes like my friend. Of course pride comes into play. You just don't believe you can be wrong after all these years. Then you have numbers, the thousands of tongue speakers all around you. How can they all be wrong? You seek refuge in numbers.[/s]
It's obvious you're trying to outdo the devil in lying. Pastor Chris never taught a Christian should not pray, in fact he's written nooks on prayer, tapes on the power of prayer and I can gladly mail you some.

Pastors Chris taught that you didn't get power because you prayed, the Holy Spirit that you received brought in the power. Prayer stirs up that power. It's like have fuel in your generator...if you don't power on the generator, you won't have power to light your house or electronics.

Prayer in this line is the act of powering on the generator, (stiring up the power in us by the Spirit of God), when we pray, we make power available. You don't pray "o Lord, I need power over situations and circumstances"

Stop making up stories to suit your failed cause. It's unhealthy and belittling. Check out other ROR where he taught about prayer... Now you're saying he's teaching prayerlessness.

Winsomex,
There is an old thread here on ROR. The question was whether the publication is fraudulent. And as usual, Joagbaje attempted a lame defense of it.
https://www.nairaland.com/860680/rhapsody-realities-really-scam

I ran into a lady who supplied me with the devotional and she was disillusioned.
Like MLMs the ones committing to distributing the most and the ones who actually did were feted. The lady ended up with dozens of the diols she had bought but could not find anybody too give. That surprised me because we have always bought them from her. Said that like Jehovah witnesses, they are supposed to 'distribute' and if possible sell them. Her terms were quite flexible, you could even pay after 3 months. The cash is remitted back to the church. Members contribute towards publishing. Then they buy the devotionals. And finally SOME consumers buy them

Anyway, the church budget shot through the roof and they were called upon to 'commit'. The figures were astronomical and the congregation revolted. Then the pastor had a birthday. And like Oyaks, they were pushed to PAY him for growing old. she could not handle it anymore, she left.

All cults add works to grace as salvation formula. SDAs have so much elevated the sabbath that breaking it is the mark of the Beast. The added works are used to subdue members, to control them. You are always in danger for breaching these, in danger of hellfire. CEC is one place 'giving' is idolized. No wonder Jeff told SirJohn he caught a virus because of failure to offer first fruits. Sadly, unlike other sects which go out of their way to document their doctrines, you won't run into any literature on the subject. These are basically unwritten rules but are firmly in place.

As you research, consider how much of doctrine and mandatory practices are seldom documented nowhere

Cc deborah777
I was about asking when you guys would attack the ROR. Turns out I wasn't thinking too much. Nice one.

Well, your statement here is your words against any others, and one person's experience cannot and should not be a yardstick to generalize.

ROR is encouraged to be bought by brethren and distribute for free to those in their sphere of contact. It is however not compulsory.

It's been selling for N150 for over 10 years even though with world class printing. When brethren pay for these materials, the monies go to different channels to keep the work going. For example, staff would have to be paid, how about the printers and print materials? What about translators, most of which do these voluntarily, but however, a stipend is given in appreciation? How about cost of delivery to point of 'consumption'? Flight or haulage cost across the world? What about custom duties? Etc.

You cannot just sit somewhere and assume frivolous things all in a bid to call a dog a bad name so that you can hang it.

The congregation revolted? Too much nollywood is telling on you buddy! grin

As for 'commitment', the other day, folks gave largely alot gave commitment when I visited Joagbaje's church. They 'adopted' the nation of Sudan for a while now, and send ROR and Bibles to the folks there... To be distributed for free... Some folks here paid for it, to be given free to change lives in Sudan that has less than 2%Christians. That's what we do with our monies... Stop being on the negative always

Nobody forces anybody to Celebrate their pastor, most do it lavishly out of love... I do that too, alot. In CE, we do not idolize giving, it is our life, as you can see in our anthem (I'm surprised the anthem hasn't be labeled cultic ie cults have anthems bla bla)... All we know is a life of giving... wink

Don't Let Anger Rule You - Monday, May 4th .

Pastor Chris

Then Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah came near, and smote Micaiah upon the cheek, and said, Which way went the Spirit of the Lord from me to speak unto thee? (2 Chronicles 18:23).

Ahab, the king of Israel, wanted to go to war to reclaim Ramothgilead, a land he believed was rightfully his; and he invited his friend, Jehoshaphat the king of Judah, to go with him, Jehoshaphat agreed but requested Ahab to call the prophets in the land to know what God thought about the decision. Ahab called the prophets, including Zedekiah. The Bible says, "...and all the prophets prophesied before them. And Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah had made him horns of iron, and said, Thus saith the Lord, With these thou shalt push Syria until they be consumed" (2 Chronicles 18:9-10).

In spite of this unanimous prophecy, Jehoshaphat still wanted some more confirmation. It was at this point that Ahab sent for Micaiah. But amazingly, the prophecy of Micaiah was different from that of Zedekiah. After Zedekiah had said to Ahab, "Go, the Lord is with you", Micaiah said, "God isn't with you on this mission". So, who was "lying" here?

The Bible shows whose prophecy couldn't have been from the Lord. Their response and disposition lets us know who was been moved by the Spirit of God, and who wasn't. Zedekiah, in anger, struck Micaiah in the face for daring to give a word that contradicted what he had prophesied. Evidently, Zedekiah's behaviour was contrary to the Spirit of God.

Look at Jesus! The only time He responded to anybody in anger was when worshippers abused His Father's house; and it was holy anger. He had a strong zeal for His Father's house: "For the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up..." (Psalm 69:9a). He never responded in anger to what anyone did against Him. No matter what was said to Him or about Him, He never responded in anger.

Don't let anger rule you; be yielded to God's Spirit. Always, maintain the right attitude that's befitting to your nature as the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, regardless of how pressured you might be to act otherwise.

Prayer. ..
Father, I thank you for the wisdom I've received from your Word. I subject my words, actions, and attitude to your Word. In my relationship with others, I'm propelled by your Word to respond in your love, which is shed abroad in my heart by the Holy Spirit, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Depict Him With Your Life - Sunday, May 3rd .

Pastor Chris

Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world (1 John 4:17).

It matters whose character is reflected in your life. When you talk, whom do you portray? Let Christ be heard in your words, and let Him be seen in your actions. Don't let people hear you and have the impression that you're wild, arrogant or violent. If Christ is in you, let Him talk through you; let Him see through your eyes and work with your hands; let Him show up in your life!

Every time you respond to situations, let it be Christ in you responding. Remember, He lives in you; you're a "carrier" of His divine glory. You're the reflector, as well as the reflection, of His glory. That's what the Word means by "...being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person..." (Hebrews 1:3). You might say, "But that verse refers to Jesus!" Yes; but you're like Him. Read the opening verse again: as He is, so are we in this world.

Don't act in the flesh; express the beauty of God's holiness that's inside you. Express His righteousness. Live His Word; portray Christ with your life, because you represent Him. Think, talk, and act like Him. Meditate on His Word; His Word shows you His way of thinking; His Word reveals His personality to us. So, the more you study the Word and act on it, the more you characterize Him with your life.

The world may never know Him until they meet us. Never forget that. We were made in God's image and His likeness. That means we were made to look like Him and to function like Him. Now that you're born again, you're exactly like Jesus. You have the same nature with Him. This is a spiritual reality. So, in everything, let His divine nature and attributes be revealed through you. Portray His character of love, righteousness, goodness, and compassion with your life!

Prayer...
Dear Father, I thank you for the privilege of being made an associate of the God-kind! I'm empowered by your Spirit to daily reveal Christ with my life, manifesting His righteousness, and the glories of the Kingdom! Thank you for the manifestation of your righteousness, wisdom, and grace, in and through me, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Be Sensitive To The Time Of Change - Saturday, May 2nd .

Pastor Chris

Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard... (Daniel 10:12).

Sometimes, you just know in your spirit that something needs to change in your life, and if you don't take advantage of that intuition, you could lose the moment. When you know inside you that the time has come for a change or for something to happen, don't take it lightly; start praying about it, and if, after sometime, you still haven't seen the desired results, you add fasting to it. If the change still doesn't occur after a while, keep praying and fasting about it, because the delay could be by Satan.

This was what happened to Daniel as he prayed for the deliverance of God's people. He had read in the Book of Jeremiah that the deliverance of Israel would come after seventy years in exile, so he knew the time had come and thus began to pray. But the prince of the kingdom of Persia detained the angel that was to bring Daniel the message. Daniel, nonetheless, was faithful and kept praying.

After twenty-one days, the angel of the Lord finally came with the answer and explained what had happened (Read Daniel 10:13-14). The angel that God sent to Daniel was delayed in the spirit realm, until Michael, one of the chief angels, came to help him.

Perhaps you perceive that it's time for a transformation in your family, business, academics, finances, health, or ministry. Take it up; fast, and pray! On the other hand, maybe you sense that there's a certain level of operation of God's Spirit that should be at work in your life, but you're not experiencing it; give it attention. Fast and pray about it, because if you don't, you may lose the timing, as well as the opportunity. So, like Daniel, set your face "...to the Lord God to seek Him by prayer and supplications, with fasting..." (Daniel 9:3-4 AMP).

Prayer...
Precious Father, I thank you for the impact of your Word in my life, and for the power of your Spirit! I'm sensitive to the guidance and promptings of your Spirit, and I'm conscious of the force of your wisdom within me, to live in sync with your perfect will. Thank you for making my life glorious, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Well in ce there seems to be hidden teachings taught by the mog ps Chris. One guy crossman9 i think listed most of it.
Crossman 9? Haaahhahahahahahahahahahahhaha... He's still learning compared to what others have alleged Pastor Chris taught. A good example is Winsomex aka drummaboy. Olaadegu too... In fact a lot had insinuated one thing or the other. But ask, how far has these guys gone? What have they done with the gospel?

What i remember from it there is something about obeying, that isaac is not abraham promised son, thst there is no mediation in NT and then this masburation topic that borders me most......there was more but i do not remember all.
Isn't it funny how these allegations sound? These were mere allegations by those who have never heard pastor Chris preach. But down the line, Pastor Chris kept going up... And they, down.

In ce faith ststement everything is fine but in hidden there is lot of strange teachings or redefinements like winsomeX says.
Winsomex has said alot

1. He said Jesus was poor
2. Jesus was at a time ill
3.Christianity started at the cross, and not the resurrection.
4. Speaking in tongues of today is gibberish
5. There's no such thing as the God kind of faith
6. Jesus did not decend to hell
Etc

Take him seriously as a case study, but not what he writes.

He'll Reward Your Faithfulness - Friday, May 1st .

Pastor Chris

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord (1 Corinthians 15:58).

The Lord Jesus taught extensively on the importance of faithfulness. In Luke 12:42-43, He said, "...Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his lord shall make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of meat in due season? Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing". When you faithfully carry out what God has instructed you to do, He promotes you and gives you additional responsibilities.

Daniel, because of his faithfulness, was preferred above all the other presidents and princes set by Darius over his kingdom (Daniel 6:1-4). When the other presidents and princes connived and searched intently for an occasion against him, the Bible says, "...they could find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him" (Daniel 6:4). He was faithful in every aspect of his life - to God, the king, his work, and his people.

It makes no difference the challenges that you may encounter as you diligently serve the Lord; remain steadfast. Let nothing move you. Imagine the calibre of people that rose against innocent Daniel: All the presidents of the kingdom, the governors, princes, counsellors, and captains! They finally conspired to enact a decree to incriminate Daniel in his devotion to God (Daniel 6:7).

Nevertheless, Daniel was undaunted. He still prayed to the Lord five times a day, as was his custom. Of course, this earned him the brutal punishment of being cast into the lions' den, but God shut the mouths of the lions and Daniel was taken out of the den alive! Your faith in the Lord and your faithfulness to Him will always make you triumphant.

In your service to the Lord, remain diligent and focused. Never think that your service in the house of God is of no value or in vain. Don't look to man for any form of reward. Even when it's as though no one appreciates what you're doing, always remember that your heavenly Father sees all you do, and He rewards your faithfulness.

Prayer...
Dear Father, I thank you for the privilege to serve you and fulfill the destiny that you've created for me! I'm steadfast, unmoveable, and undaunted by circumstances as I diligently serve you, putting my whole life into your work, because I know that my labour isn't in vain, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Not yet found any blog of ex member. But had been talking with one ex member of ce from ce hannover germany - the branch of ce i am helping in my country is related with ce germany. She had told me interesting stuff.
Are you in Germany as of now or Nigeria?

And honestly personally it is sad to admit that i am failed again with keeping promise i gave to myself in past not to help in pastor centered ministry as i considered it over for me as unbiblical stuff based upon biblical church model descescribed in Eph 4:11-14.
No doubt you have a calling, judging from your posts so far, but, see it this way, you are being drawn to your purpose, do not fight it.

I may not completely understand what you mean by 'Pastor Centered' ministry, but I know God has always led his folks by one man, or Shepherd and flock. Read all through the NT and OT.

Ephesians 4:11-14 DOES NOT in any way negate what you're trying to say it does. It is very possible to function in these diverse offices. Paul was a pastor, a teacher, an Apostles, an evangelist. Timothy was a pastor and an evangelist. It would be error to think God only wants us to function in one.

And yes winsomeX stuff is thoughtful. I have thought to use his material first bit maybe translate them if needed but i will ask his permission first.
Fine by me. smiley
He's also made me to think, but the more I think, the more I'm rooted.

I need to pray about it- what Lord is saying and also how to leave from my country branch less painfully to all parts because my pursue is to keep peace anbd harmony.
Can you mail me? Use my signature.

Why i am thinking of leaving is that, first i know that my call is not to remain stucked under one certain place or church but but build the body of Christ widely and second it is bit hard to make it from my secular job.
You're a bit wrong here. You have to have a local assembly where you can function. You must have a spiritual head as Paul wrote and taught. You can build the body of Christ from where you are, if you function by the Spirit.

But yes i chosed to help them after breaking up with my friend more than one year ago. I just wanted to try how it is to be translator and sort of secretary - i do not know right word in english, basically try to do administrative things in church like helping to mail rors, help in webmastering, opening the church door etc.
You're a ROR translator too? My goodness? You mail RORs? You're already doing much as it were. You're changing lives by what you do. Be faithful and diligent, and you will go places.

Let me share a bit of my story, in summary. I started posting ROR on Nairaland and Facebook 2 years ago. It was as a huge waste of time, it was like a... But I monitored the page views, and prayed for the viewers daily, and the viewership grew.

Long story short, a reader sent me a brand new Galaxy note 10.1 from a long distance by courier in August 2013, as I asked God for a better device in doing the ROR posting. I have been posting ROR daily for almost 2 years uninterrupted. I was diligent with my BlackBerry, before the tab. Today, because of that thread, I've met the best folks in the world, and top pastors in CE. I've met with Pastor Ose, Pastor Lane Arabi, Pastor Biodun Lawal, Pastor Joy Ameikhenan, Pastor Rita Ijomah, our own Pastor Joe :Detc

Today's Rhapsody of Realities is for you, it says "He rewards your faithfulness" read it up.

It had been nice challenge but bc ce is with quesonable hidden doctrine church and i am not sure in dogma of hell anymore, i do not want to promote it in my country much anymore. Yes i am still there but i try to be hidden as much as possible until i am here.
Forget what folks post here, CE has no hidden doctrine...and please, don't hide... You're the light of the world. Shine forth

Gladly i have still maintained my apostolic alignment with my apostolic church in Corinth TX called Glory of Zion Int- in Nigeria the representantive of that church is apostle Emmanuel Kure and i am following by web bc in my own country does not have strong apostolic church and i am tired of non mature church leaders - so it is good to follow them and be apostolically aligned and try find my way out from ce.
Pray about everything. He listens smiley

deborah777:
Sorry i just tried to quote from my head one paragraph what i had read from Now you want to marry -book what is used in ce for marriage counselling. Basically i meant this from page 8 under title specific cases-when both persons are committed in different churches: "Both parties MUST eventually end up in one Church. It is also an illusion to plan to continue attending different churches. You cannot support yourselves spiritually this way and it also limits the level you can get to in such respective churches. There is no hard and fast rule that the couple should end up in the man’s Church but this is usually the case, sothe lady must ensure she is comfortable in the man’s Church."

in that same title it is say also: "Sharp or opposite doctrinal differences may eventually divide a home.Initially when the euphoria or novelty of love is still fresh, these things would appear to both parties as unimportant. This is an illusion as when they finally settle down to living, there would be constant conflicts." and "When both parties also have not been exposed to the same set ofdoctrines, there would need to be a time for ‘catching up’ by one party. This would result in a delay with respect to making spiritual progress when compared with another couple who also started at the same time but were previously exposed to the same set of doctrines."
In generally i agree with those paragraphs from that book because really every church have different beliefs and it have to make sure before getting married. Maybe even Rev Anita did not knew at beginning what his "lovely" husband believes until now when she decided for divorce.

And it ends "The best thing to do in these instances is to submit to the advice of the leadership of your Church. It is very wrong to go against the Pastor’s advice in the place where you are fed the Word of God and are seeing evident fruit of that Word in your life (Hebrews 13:7, 17). God’s dealings with individuals are also different and what is OK for one person might not be appropriate for another. Also at a higher level of commitment, some things are not the best for you. This is where the Pastor (or his delegated authority) comes in.He hears from God and can help set you in the right path for your life."
With this paragraph there is some things, i can not agree bit. Yes I can agree that it might be good to talk with spiritual leader who is above you -like to listen his oponion on this case. But I can not agree with that what it seems saying like I personally can not be able to listen from God (which is against word of God for exampe Rom 8:16 all who spirit of God leads are children of God) and must to obey the guidance the pastor gets from God if i want to be in line with him. Because there is always a option that pastor might make mistake in his listening from God and if person is trustful towards the pastor he or she may loose his or her mate and his or her happiness.
It proves the cases i have read before from web about ce members who literally had left their church and married somewhere else because their leaders in ce had not agreed with their marriage.

anyway you can download the book on your own from this blog https://timothyblogs./2014/02/13/a-marriage-guide-from-christ-embassy/ or just put into google christ embassy marriage counselling.
