When a Biafran/Nigeria Azikiwe Ebele Jonathan was President, the most powerful positions from the Army, Central Bank to Minister of Finance went to Biafra/Nigerians.

Buhari, a Northern/Nigerian did the same as Jonathan. So President from one part of Nigeria is not enough, each wants to dominate the powerful positions. Unlike that mumu called the most detriablized Nigerian.

Rotation is due for a Western Nigerian after Biafran and Northerner. Osinbajo, Fayemi, Adesina, Sowore and other fine characters. Any of them but Tinubu.

Live fast and die fast. Fast drivers rest in pieces.

Anyone that thinks this generation can be easily cured of vanities is hoping against hope.

They prefer to dream now or into future as long as vanity is dangled in their face. That is their opium for survival no matter how short a life.

Generation of instant gratification.

I will be surprised if some of these experiments is not going on in our morphology or microbiology labs.

Some of you may remember that in those days with functional chemistry labs in high school, we made aspirin from scratch.

Germination from ordinary soil producing plants and microbs are wonders. Children still do these and call it wonders.

Human abilities are limitless. We just have to call them Experiments instead of juju.

Africans have the same brain but our orientation has been limited to money.

Politics › Re: Osinbajo: Nigeria Open To More Investments From Foreign Companies by googi: 3:04pm On Jan 15, 2020
Sometimes I wonder if we will ever get it right during our lifetime. Our fathers and mothers died preaching foreign Investments as their parents.

Does anyone know of any country in the whole wide world that has ever risen by Foreign Investments except it comes with

1. Free labor

2. Free importations of gold, diamond, cobalt, uranium etc.

3. Dirt cheap Cocoa, coffee, banana, cassava etc.

4. Exportation of plastics and mirrors in exchange for brand names and vanities.

If you have been brainwashed that Foreign Investments coming from Africa to develop their countries that are getting richer must be devalued to get them dirt cheap, your problem.

And printed Monopoly pretty papers with the highest denomination more abundant in your countries than theirs; no longer backed as promissory notes by gold from your countries. Your wahala

Your mumu is forever with you and your grandchildren.

Before 1960, you have no choice, what about in 2020?

Promises of Foreign Investments turned the face of poverty from Asian countries to African countries and you are still celebrating Foreign Investments?

Even if you were crawling for 100 years after giving Free Foreign Investments outside and taking perverted "Foreign Investments" inside, you would have been better off.

Kotinu make you dey celebrate 5, 10, 20 years into future until you die in penury.
Politics › Re: FG Plans N88m Cook Stoves For Institutions by googi: 1:57pm On Jan 13, 2020
Why don't you guys ever learn?

Has any country ever given anything called foreign aid or made foreign Investment into Africa without qui pro quo?

All you are getting are gift vouchers to spend the way they want to boost their economy. They have never invested anything in Africa to make you self sustainable because you are "regular customers" that keep on sucking up.

If you want to know the real foreign aid and Investments, they are the ones coming from Africa to benefit and sustain them for life like free labor, natural and human resources on a one way trips.

All you get is vouchers to spend in their stores and celebrate.

This is the last time I am going to respond to one of these cramming mis-educated Africans that lacks the ability to apply what they learn from Arabs and Europeans.

How much has foreign investments brought into Nigeria in 100 years?

If you know what they taught you and digest it well, you would have realized that the ONLY foreign investment is from Africa to Europe, America and Asia.

If you know the meaning of money laundering, you would have realized it is another foreign investment that went one way from Africa to Europe, America and Asia.

Note well, foreign investment has never made its way to Africa. Think and reflect on the meaning they teach you and how the face of poverty has moved from Asia to Africa.

You will never learn from history until you get old, I pray, and retire into your grave. All the free labor went one way, all the gold and diamond went one way. The cobalt and uranium are going one way.

Since you worship pretty worthless printed papers that was backed by gold from your Continent as promissory notes, you will never realize your folly.

Look, by the time they finished Dangote in their investment world which is rigged for their privilege class, he would lose every penny he made in Africa.

Oponu, Ndi Ara, Barawo!

9jaRealist:
Not when Microsoft (or any other foreign investor) initially chose to invest in Nigeria...
Nonetheless, if Dangote sets up a investment office abroad, by definition he will be making money abroad.

As for the unsolicited History rehash, thanks but largely irrelevant....
Except of course to reaffirm that you apparently do not understand the meaning of money laundering.

The question we must ask Dangote, Adenuga, Innoson, Dantata, Otedola, Onyeama etc. like all the foreign companies in Nigeria or Africa is:

How much foreign currencis have you earned for Nigeria instead of going to Central Bank to loot our reserves while poor parents struggle to get forex for their children school fees and upkeep.

Some of these foreign poor students and patriotic Nigerians work two three jobs to send foreign currencies to Africa while vultures through Bureau de Change exchange their money with looted Naira.

Honestly, if this is not embarrassing it should make you cry.

You are comparing Bill Gates charity and offices to spread his wealth; to Dangote money laundering!

In the first place Microsoft makes money in Nigeria, Dangote does not make money in America.

But the same Africans that celebrate mirrors for gold, that praised Mansa Musa and Queen of Sheba in their time for laundering gold are the same Africans that defended Structural Adjustment and Devaluations.

Many of you need brain transplant since you are far gone with colo-mentality.

Did you know that Dr. Harold Shodipo, Fela and many Nigerians trying to pay school fees for their children were jailed for money laundering?

But how can I blame you when it is now legal and even Buhari now pays his children school fees and his medical bills from money looted from Nigeria legally

Microsoft has a Lagos office...
(not to mention the Gates Foundation has put millions of US dollars that Bill gates earned elsewhere into Nigeria).

By definition, EVERY foreign investor in Nigeria earned the monies they initially invested in Nigeria elsewhere...
Nonetheless, a Family Office is merely an investment vehicle to invest family wealth (not corporate funds) in businesses.

We need to feel sorry for Africans. Where is Dangote making his money?

Bill Gates and Jeff Bezo and all others making their money would never even think of establishing in Lagos or anywhere else they do not make money except to hide it in shell companies in Panama.

Abeg see see, make una see Africans jubilating for African biggest money launderer.

Some of us have have wondered aloud what business men like Dangote sell outside Africa to be paying big money for adverts in USA.

We have Africans mumu that only foreign investments can liberate Africa, even as Africa gets poorer.

The next saviors to liberate Africans are money launderers.

Ask all the local and foreign businesses how much foreign currencies they have earned for Nigeria instead of looting our forex legally through Central Bank.

Is it your shame or that of the Celebrant that decided on party without the means?

I hate to see young people unserved because food is their main reason for coming. Unfortunately, parties have taken many turns. Parties to collect money, to sell uniforms, to show off without the means like weddings.

As you get older, some do not eat at parties, they may drink water. These days, like Church, Mosque or other ceremonies, they give take-away.

I once read about how a guy solved the lack of attention. He called one of the younger servers, tipped her and complimented her dress. All the people on his table got served!

We blame everything on bad leadership when we know each of them came from our individual family that we encourage and support.

But the point is what have we gained from so called foreign investment in over sixty years?

Short term gain and immediate gratification that have no value has overtaken the moral fiber needed to build ourselves slowly and surely. Better than where we are today depending on the shining mirrors and leftover of others.

The first time I heard Hausa kids were sent out to beg as an experience to humble them in life I was surprised. It later turned to a way of life for some.

We are very suspicious of one anothers' motives these days, especially when we run to social media to gain publicity.

Rich people send their children to dirty their hands so that they can learn the dignity of labor. This is why you find comfortable men and women join or participate in cleaning their neighborhoods.

In some countries, rich men send their children before they attend universities (in those days when it was safe) to live with poor families in poor countries. The children on their own may sell newspapers, deliver flyers and in this our Country, help their parents on the farm during holidays.

I cannot judge the motive of this lady but I was happy when sons that started repairing their bics and those of those of their friends. Then, started getting tips from their friends' parents.

You can be colorful as much as you want with your history.

You mess it up and exaggerate your relevance when you claim to be the source of an Ocean whose earlier existence and culture overwhelmed you by centuries.

Stay within you limit and accept your defeat when the people of Edo had to call on Yoruba wise men to send their son to govern you.

Why? Wicked Ogiso drove out others like the Urhobo and many fled. He crowned his atrocious behavior by beheading a pregnant woman. Oranmiyan saved them.

In which country apart from African countries can you work with a foreign certificate?

You cannot work with British medical degree in the USA. Even within US you have to pass state exams except where there is reciprocity to practice law.

The point here is not foreign degree, it is about well qualified African Canadians or African Americans that finished at Ivy league universities and found themselves jobless at the end of recruitment process by employers. Can you understand how hard it is to counsel them?

You guys must stop using lucky tokens as an example of success abroad. Indeed, it is one of the point of contentions between Africans and African Americans. If they are well qualified, how could children of foreigners find professional jobs in positions their fathers and mothers died for?

Hadampson:
You can't claim your rights in Nigeria too

Canada do give professional jobs but you need to do some evaluations. You can't expect to work with a certificate from a third world country in a first world country. It's not acceptable and I'm sure you will agree with me on that.
Travel › Re: My Experience At A Restaurant In Canada by googi: 12:51am On Jan 02, 2020
Nigerians, Naija, OmoNaija na God I take beg una. Return Nigeria to the land where milk and wara flow.

Make your land, your town or fillage a better place to live. If you are too young ask your parents about Nigeria.

There is nothing in Canada that you cannot enjoy in your village except vanities. Right now in Canada, black children cannot buy a house like their parents did 20 or 40 years ago. Hard to believe myself until I saw a study in Toronto Star. I posted it here months ago but nobody paid attention.

Do you believe that Lagosians used to take pride in the fact that if a stranger enters Lagos in the morning, before nightfall, he would be fed, clothed and given a place to sleep.

It could never happen in Canada. Even in those days Canada would give you good education, no matter where you live unlike United States. So, it was a place to raise children.

But they would not give you professional jobs. You stood a better chance in the States. Yet Canadians would tell you not to go there because they hate blacks in the US.

Nigerians, do not fool yourselves, Nigeria is the only country you have.

Hate it or leave it and jump from frying pan to fire. Some of you already experience that you cannot claim rights outside Nigeria.

Stop fooling and selling fantasy to others. Nigeria is the only place a man would order a Star and Esiewu for everybody. Not in Canada!

Christianity Etc › Re: Pope Francis Apologises For Slapping Devotee by googi: 9:38pm On Jan 01, 2020
There are two issues here.

1. Security. Those men that were supposed to protect the Pope should have been fired. No reasonable person pulls an 83 year old man like that. The Pope lost his balance and could have landed on the floor. No one with security following him should have been so exposed. Not even African head of state or American. That lady would be cooling her heels in detention.

2. Religion is African Opium. Every continent has one or more Indigenous religions except Africans that would die and kill for foreign religion.

You laugh at Hausa dominated by Usman Danfodio type of Muslim. What is the difference between those of you called Catholics, Protestants and the Hausa who killed their brothers and sisters in the name of Islamic Bokoboko?
Politics › Re: Ghana Evicts Nigeria High Commission In Fresh Diplomatic Row by googi: 3:07pm On Jan 01, 2020
For some reason Nigeria always owe rent and salary abroad the way they do in Nigeria. There is no excuse, diplomatic immunity does not cover debtors. Some of you may remember the conflict with New York City over parking tickets.

However, the traditional relationship between Nigeria and Ghana should not have come to this.

Even if Nigeria did not show leadership, some of us expect better treatment from Ghana Government. These are not angry masses behaving recklessly.
