Are you following? Because we're still laying the foundation still. So that, next time your pastor say 'devourer' will devour you for not tithing, then you can ask, which of the devourers, insects or pests, mosquitoes or cockroaches or flies?

2. From this translation, devourer = locusts. A kind of grasshopper that comes in swarms and causes great damage to plant life in the bible days. Could it means something different in our days?

1. From this translation, devourer is not the devil and demons that pastors use to threaten and coarse people into paying tithe, it is insects and plagues. In other words, insects that plagues "fruits of the ground". Ah, examples of insects, butterflies,beetles, flies, mosquitoes, crickets, cockroaches etc.

Question: Since tithe teachers and payers had been teaching\paying tithe, had mosquitoes never bitten them? Don't they have flies in\around their houses? How about cockroaches?

Many Christians are too much into the KJV and they're lost within the context of KJV English. Many Pastors understand this and they use it to confuse church people the more. Today, we unveil the 'devourer' and 'storehouse' in Malachi 3:10-11 that God talked about as we continue to contend the false tithe teaching for Christians. When people hear 'devourer' and\or 'storehouse', they are being threatened in the meaning, thinking it's satanic attack and\or calamities and that the church or gathering of believers is the storehouse.

I will like to present an exposition and\or exegesis into the word meanings from a Bible concordance but before we go into the word meaning exegesis\exposition, I'll like to quote from many translations that agree with the context of what God was saying and we continue to see if it applies to Christians or still apply today.

After this exposition\exegesis, you and\or pastor reading this will not remain the same again.

But I wasn't through with her because it took a long time so we had to take a break to finish up the following day. But the following day ibegan to recieve series of SMS from "THEM" insulting me and warning to keep away from her, that she belong to them.

I don't know if this is an advert or something else but please, if I may ask, which demon you casting out or deliverance you doing that TOOK A LONG TIME THAT YOU HAD TO TAKE A BREAK AND FINISH THE NEXT DAY?

The last time I checked, when Jesus would cast out devils or demons, the scripture records, the demons and devils WENT OUT IMMEDIATELY but your own casting TOOK YOU A WHOLE DAY?

Again, are you doing deliverance for A CHRISTIAN or an ORDINARY CHURCH GOER or an UNBELIEVER? Because the last time I checked, CHRISTIANS have been deliverED by the blood of Jesus and the finished works, putting the Holy Spirit in us.

As many as wants to be justified by WORKS OF THE LAW are fallen from Grace, to such, Christ died for nothing.

E.g, I don't fall sick BECAUSE I tithe, it is because I tithe, I have breakthroughs etc.

Sabbath is part of the 10 commandmets. Do you worship from Sun set Friday to Sun set Saturday and don't work at all nor lift your fingers?

The church do not commit adultery because it was said to Moses but because we were also taught not to do so. One thing with the law, take one, take all. If you break the sabbath, under the law, you are guilty as also commiting adultery.

Take away, the sabbath you have 9 commandments left as if it is only 9 sins that exist in the world.

It is not new. It is as someone who have not done study by himself but would rather copy and believe instead of study and believe. Imagine someone that wants to teach others but had not studied by himself but had gone to copy. About the Mosaic laws, some of them have been abolished by Christ. Others are still very very active: that includes the 10 commandements and Tithing.

To your question, God hasn't changed but his covenant changed. God isn't a liar and His word is true as said to different people at different times under different dispensations. Hebrews 1:1-2.

Under the law, God commanded tithe for the children of Israel and this tithe (God commanded tithe) according to the verse you quoted is not FROM MONETARY INCOME but FROM THE LAND, FROM THE SOIL, FROM THE TREE, HERDS AND FLOCKS. This is God's commanded and acceptable tithe.

If tithe WAS ORIGINALY MONEY, why would God tell them to convert money to money AND EVEN EAT IT AS THEIR TITHE in Deuteronomy 14? This is the problem with the law system of Moses time, you can't pick one and leave the rest undone and it's one of the issues Jesus was addressing in Matthew 23:23. I just quoted some mosaic law to you, do you do any of them today? If you don't, why?

Do you by HIS GRACE obey this commandment from God? And don't tell me its 'ceremonial' law or commandment o because I will further ask you where scripture made distinction for some laws being moral and some being ceremonial.

How else do I involve him when he lives in me? I ask him questions and so, we both relate the context and from word meanings, I follow the context and questions asked. Then, I learn from the great teacher. The Holy Spirit have nothing to teach except on the platform of what is written and you have to study what is written, ask questions and he teaches, you learn.

My advice to you, flush all religious teachings and interpretation out of your Christian life and sit yourself down with the Holy Spirit for sometime, you will come out a new and different person.

^ That 'letter that kills' in that verse is not interpretation by what is written, it is talking about the mosaic law that kills or lead to death.

Follow the context and also read other translations. Again, religious quoting of scriptures does no good other than confusion.

I do not and have not reached a stage where I can no longer grow in grace and the word of God. However, my labour in the word is what I share. There's no usefulness in having a mind when such mind is closed, not open to renewal and change.

There is, what I found out in Christianity - religious interpretation and traditions of men. These, I have broken away from having laboured in the word. You don't have to take what I teach as truth UNTIL you go back like the Bereans verified Paul's teaching to see if it's true. Do same and also don't attempt to hold on to what you have been taught in ages. I call you to begin to prove all things by rigorous study and hold to what is truth.

Everything we say must be rooted in scripture. Understanding may differ how a verse is understood but kindly give one, I mean one single scripture where poor, widow, orphans etc are commanded or required to tithe other than being beneficiaries of the tithe?

Why are you like this talking from both sides of your mouth? On one thread, you said God doesnt care how much a Christian gives; on another thread, you fix percentage of 10 to same Christians you said God doesn't care how much they give. Who then is an atheist?
