Funny thread but real. Saw one on a lady who look decent to me but I'm so surprised she can put on something with such inscription........ "I'M ALWAYS AVAILABLE" |
It's been so long I laugh this hard and shedding tears, @op, thanks for making my day. You made me brake my vow of not logging in to NL for a month. @post, that's if its true, just tell her that you accept that you snore and tell her to stop knocking your head since you have accepted. Alternatively, you may pretend to be sleeping and when she gives you that knock again, just tell her that you aint asleep and that you have been doing so for a while now, which she had always done, use the opportunity to ask her what you have done wrong to her to deserve all these overnocking. Probably, you will find a solution. P.s............. Not that I really believe the content of this thread, but nothing is impossible in marriage and life. May God help us all. |
Thank God no life was lost! |
This morning |
Very sad indeed! May God comfort you and your daughter. |
@op, may God grant you the desire of your heart. |
This is not "amuwa Olorun" as Oduah said, but "afowofa omo eniyan" |
Then, if it has to do with the weight indeed, then the aviation authority should be blamed. |
Personally, I don't believe in the weight issue, it has more to do with the pilot's negligence. |
Does the authority not have weight recommendation for planes, be it small or big ones. |
It is seasonal, it is expected. May God provide for everyone who wish to kill ram to celebrate the sallah. Though, I'm aint a muslim, but every salah deserve to be celebrated with something. Eni ti odun ba laye, o ye ko sope. Mo dupe temi. |
@post.......speechless! @op, no comment! more grease to your elbow. #s=.......... |
Devaluation of our currency is one of the major steps to take to regain the value of our naira. |
Amazing! They so love each other to the extent that, death could not do them part. |
The end of everyone= Death. May his soul rest in peace. |
pickabeau1: i laff in spanish.. wetin man no go see for this land.....so, you are actually BB ![]() Thank God for knowing on this thread. And gay ![]() I fear fear o |
Good and loving parents would want their child to have closure. I am pretty sure that they would not hold it against her. I don't know why you are trying to guilt her into abandoning her quest to find her birth parents or why you even think that she is insinuating that her adoptive parents are not good enough. People who were lost to slavery generations ago want to trace their ancestry. Many cry when they finally realize where they originated from. These are people that never left the country they were born. It still means much. How much more someone who might actually have their biological parents walking the surface of the earth. They might even have other biological siblings. She knows who are real parents are and I am sure she loves them. She just wants to find the biological ones to tie loose ends.
IMO, it would have been so, if she had discussed it with her adopted parents, if she hadnt, and shes writing this, if they later find out, they will feel bad. Another angle is, how are we sure she wasnt given up for adoption for this her adpted parents, if thats what happened, and shes writing this, without informing them and they later find out, they will as well feel bad. In her own words, she said she was "abandoned", if i were the op, i will let sleeping dg lie and show my appreciation to those who appreciate my life. Notwithstanding, im aint opposing the fact that "blood is thicker than water" but not only blood makes a family. May God help us all. |
Singing........... T'emi o ba le dupe, a je pe'mi o moore 2x opo egbe mi ti ku, opo egbe mi ti lo, opo lo wa l'ewon opo l'onse fine bara kiri. Temi o ba le dupe, a je pe'mi o moore. Thanking God for His faithfulness, even, when im aint faithful to Him. |
@op, according to your words, your adopted parents are the best parents one can have in this life, what else do you want and what do you want them for, do you prefer those who abandoned you to those who have shown you love through out. Do you know that if your adopted parents get to read this from you, they will feel bad and dissapointed and unappreciated. May God give you the wisdom to do the right thing. |
As good as this gesture may sound or look, it has its negative side, which is, no any other salary until Nov ending. I will advise those who dont have immediate need for the money to leave the money in their accounts till ending, so that there wont be gnashing of teeth before another payment is made. May God help us all. |
pickabeau1: The problem with deactivation is that they are tagged with a generic Nobody so her posts cannot be identified againsince its nobody, its untraceable, and thats what i dont like. |
It was jidegirl, now Debrief, maybe i will be the next. |
Debrief's posts are such that many lessons can be learnt from, even if she doesnt feel like posting on NL again, and her posts are still intact, many people would still be able to learn from the posts, anyways..... |
Personally, i dislike this deactivation of account that is irreversable idea. Anyway................ |
My sister, nothing do you, it just show that you are human, at one point or the other, the human nature in us shows up and we forget the goodness of God unintentionally. It happens to everyone. However, each time I'm down, I have a particular quotation I have and say to myself to regain my consciousness and quickly return all glory to Him, the love and saviour of my life. It is "Let nothing disturb you, let nothing frighten you, everything passes away except God, God alone is sufficient" Thanking God for His faithfulness over you and all of us and also, for God to forgive us for our ungratefulness and unfaithfulness, even when He is ever faithful to us. |
yellowpawpaw: Poster u have d right to be bothered. My dear sister, thank you very much jare. Don't mind me, I woke up to pray in the midnight, and after I'm through, na so sleep refuse to come o, I tried reading books, sleep no come, na so I think say make I see werrin dey NL o. No be my fault. I'm sorry ma. |
ifyalways: Bloggers and their stories. A nurse in Nigeria using tinted glasses?Aunty Ify, forget about blogs or bloggers o, do you think it's not possible, it's damn possible. Atleast, I have two women around me whose job may not even afford them to buy bicycles, but they are using tinted glass SUVs. Some people just take up some works just to while away time or shut people's mouth for calling them full housewives. One of them is a public secondary school teacher, she's even a very close friend of mine, so, I know her very well, its not only one or two vehicles, she's in control of fleet of big cars and they are all tinted. So, can you believe that an ordinary teacher can use those type of cars? The other woman is not a close person to me but I see her almost everyday, she works in my kids' private nursery and primary school as a teacher, popularly called aunty, and the school is not one of those very expensive private schools o, she cruises in a tinted glass big SUV. So, dear, its possible for a nurse to use a tinted glass, who knows, the husband or her siblings or parents might be very wealthy and influential. May God help us all. |
I think I understand the fear of the op, she's afraid because this sister of hers do not have any shame and secret about what to say or not which is not a good sign of maturity, and also, that she may continue like that, even after marriage, which of course will not be fair to the man she'll eventually hook up with. Though, she needs a mentor and a confidant, but "boroboro ko gbodo poju". She shouldn't turn herself to "a woman with diarrhea mouth" I think such boroboro things should be more between her and her sister, than an inlaw. The op is naturally shameful for all what her sister is spewing out to an inlaw, I think that lady should first of all confide in her sister, the op, and if the sister can't come out with a concrete advise, she can now find a better way to present the matter to her hubby for an advise, which will later be related to her. My personal opinion, anyway. May God help us all |
Hhhhhhmmmmmm, "Isale oro; o l'egbin" "Eni ti ko ba mo nkan ti egbe re se la, lo ma saku" Indeed, strange things are happening, in pursuit of wealth, power and authority. So many stories like this have been heard and seen. The truth is innocent bloods are being shed in this land, just because of this world that is passing away. The unfortunate part is that, those who proved to be godly will be questioning God for not making them wealthier without thinking of how many of those wealth big people made their wealth. "Godliness with contentment is a great gain". I believe these words should be the motto of everyone who claims to be godly. Never envy anyone, because of anything, be it money, power, fame, authority, etc because, you never can say, where and how those things are gotten. Never wish to be like someone in terms of riches, power, fame, authority, etc, because you might not have or lose what it takes to pass through what the person passed through before getting to the level the person is. Rather, let us pursue righteousness and holiness, without which no one can see God. May God help us all. P. S::: I'm not saying there are no legitimate, true and sincere wealthy people, but the ratio is very low. |
Why did Nadia's picture up there look like a catoon character? I dont like that picture of hers at all. My opinion, please. |
ileobatojo: I agree . Some attention seekers deactivate their accounts and you know they'll be right back under another moniker but I fear that may not be so with Debrief. Well, if she can regain her joy with this action, it would have been worth it. All the best!yes, i cmpletely agree, its worth it if that is the case. REALITY101: Maybe He/she was trying to see how it works lolnot the person of Debrief. Who do you think she is? A novice? Absolutely not. |
Congrats! |
