Only a greater dullard will affirm, stand by, identify with, and align with the label suggested by a dullard. Tao11, Now we know were you got your inspiration from partaining to you assumption Oduduwa was born in ife A 2010 quote from akintoye... I keep telling you stop making refrence to scholars after 1914 But you cant do without it The cane that would be used to flog the yorubas out of culture thread would not be giving by benins, but by Yorubas themselves In my spare time i would take time to read you and olu argument and find my cain to flog you All permanently You will regret meeting we benins on Nairaland |

Cheers Lol Tao11 has beaten you to submittion you're are now using her slangs cheersI have nothing against this thread only that he included olokun orunmila as a yoruba deity which i had to quickly correct otherwise I have gone length to prove this two deities are of edo origin and have their life stories in benin |

TheMomentumTv: I sincerely appreciate your effort in taking steps ahead to shed more light... I can see the image now, the question is... Did the Edo people believe there is any benefit 'Olokun'/Aje(his said daughter) can offer the people of Edo? The olokun like the benins believes is the king of the sea he had his mystical powers, despite the truce he had with the king of the land the oba of benin, he was constantly sort after by the people from land, and they worshiped him inreturn to grant their wish Mostly from women who seek children olokun was known to be sending his children to land through women who needed children This made the children after being born on land to start worshiping their father, the oba couldn't stop this encourachment An oba of benin once sort the olokun secretly for a male child when the child was born he began being posssed by the olokun spirit which was prince ewakpe... And at then there was still much disparities between olokun and the oba of benin, it was a taboo for an oba who is known to be heavenly Supreme to be possessed by a defeated king of the sea, which made the benins revolt against ewakpe being a king as they saw him as devinely weak this led to the benin civil war of 1500 |

AMINDA: It is glaring that IPOB's strategy is to sacrifice the Igbos staying in the North to achieve Biafra. Very dumb move especially when it is a fact that there are more Igbos staying in the North than northerners in the East. An average Northerner prefers life in the North because life is simpler. I can't say the same for the average easterner though. Those who find themselves in the North never return back to the East on their own volition because Northerners are even more hospitable than their brothers.
On another note, by next year we will see how serious the new found romance between the East and the West is when the real dynamics of 2023 begin to play out. The North are not interested in keeping power beyond 2023 but heads or tail, they can never lose out. Until then, the North will continue to play the long game while the Easterners turn their region into Maiduguri and their people into IDPs.
In the meantime, commenters like the one above me should continue to fool themselves with parody accounts. The vulture is a patient bird. If you guys like keep the powers till 2027, you guys will only be endangering your region to more provocation from the south which will end up terrible for you all at the end, You lots have no choice to hand over power to we southerners 2023 If we can have two, southerners occupying both president and vp position i wont mind Pray my kinds dont get to power you all, will run into niger rep for help Bloody aboki and their bloody country |

Balogunodua: He knows nothing... he is an Edo miscreant It is believed that the olokun was the king of the sea and the oba was the king of the land Until the oba defeated the trespassing olokun who was interfering on the affairs of the land and totally relegated him to the sea the the oba emerged greater than the olokun Thats why the oba is called the king of the sea and the king of the land |

TheMomentumTv: Thanks for sharing this thought. What do I know too? We are learning here. Can you please give further details if we can all know more about it. Thanks There is no myth to olokun worship, it is a just mere worship of the spirit of the sea Olokun in benin mean Olo (centre).... Okun(sea) The centre of the sea.. The image below shows an edo woman drawing the symbols of olokun, So you making a myth on a worship foreign to the yorubas threatens all other myth you write up there The worship of olokun and orunmila are of edo origin which was brought to the yorubas by benin military expansion

Authentic2008: Good evening family. I am a young of 28yrs old and a final year student of one of the prestigious university in Nigeria.
A few month back, I met this lady who happens to be a student of this same university. At first we started as friends and during this friendship, I discovered that she has a boyfriend but the relationship wasn't that ok. During our friendship, she told me that, it was this guy that breaks the padlock (u know what I mean). At the long run the guy broke up with her due to mistrust, insecurity and mistreatment. During this period of our friendship, I developed feelings for her cus of her trained personality and religious upbringing. As a very sharp guy, i took my opportunity and talk to her, she agreed and we started dating officially. The relationship was very smooth and we mingled also( Hope u understand).
Suddenly, this same ex of hers calls her and begins to apologise. She agree to his pleas without considering my feelings..To cut it short, they started dating back.
Few days later, she came back and started apologising to me saying that she loves me, she feels free whenever she is with me and that I always makes her to concentrate more on the things of God and mostly the qualities she wants in a man that she finds it in me...
But anytime this guy talk to her and beg her, she will agree and go back to him...
Funny enough I've come to love her deeply. Am really confused and I need ur advise on what to do.
YOUR COMMENTS WILL BE HIGHLY NEEEDED Turn her to friends with benefit, Accept her relationship advancement everytime she runs coming back to you slowly pull out your emotions you have with her, that way it wont hurt much Get yourself a new girlfriend And watch her tears in 3D Keep this word The more you hurt me the less i cry |

masseratti: it's not ego tripping nor seniority Lagos palace will never deny its bini connection, it's well documented, nor itsekiri and onitsha too.. It's well documented, the Portuguese documented for bini kingdom.. Likewise the English, doesn't matter if you have not learned about it before we learn everyday, do your research.
The guy who wrote this thread quote books that were written in 18th 19th century for you.. You can read them.

masseratti: Well written, I think DNA testing should be done anyway, but what's the relevance of both ruling house claiming seniority when both agreed they came from Oranmiyan, the last Ọba of Benin shouldnt have stir up the polity, the present rulers of the United Kingdom are from Germany, at a point french was being spoken in the palace of England so what's all the fuss a about, IFE and Benin should seek more modern development than what the kings are doing right now. Ife and Benin never had any historical connections untill 1914, when there was need For political unification then the myth of Oduduwa in benin originated

Jimbadly: Well, one thing I know is that if you keep deleting the numbers of any girl that does shakara for you or fails to show up for a date with you, then you will keep missing the opportunity to hit that pussy. That is the fact.
She didn't lose anything by not dating you, in fact you are the who lost the opportunity to taste her cookies, cos you're the one who first approached her for a relationship. Due to lack of patience and you hotheadedness, you lost the chance to dick her.
My brother, you need to have patience to deal with most ladies. Hit that pussy first, then you can dump her ass and do shakara for her afterwards, especially if she is a beautiful babe.
A more patient guy than you fvcked her afterwards, that's the fact. Nah bro patient for what just to drill a pussy.. Nah bro She also lost a chance to Bleep my dick, i could be cuter than the guy who later bleeped her because he was patient Is either they accept to our terms of giving us the pussy wen we call for it or they loose a chance to taste our dick Ladies want us to be patient and wait for their time before they can give us sex willingly but if you check d expenses and the attention and time wasted at the end it won't worth the pussy stress, at all, while they keep us waiting They maybe offering a nigga they newly meant The pussy Most of them endup masturbating after turning down several guys offer to sex They are more Pained when they loose us because they couldn't come to our house for sex, imagine a cute guy coming to your dm telling you to come to his house the following week but because of female pride you couldn't show up and the guys goes away only for a dude she doesnt like much, to be giving her the patient that she wants before sex Thats why ladies give attitudes to men, because they want us to obey their own circle but we say no to it most often, and they tag us scum The truth is the sharp ones will give in to sex a guy she likes days after they meant because they know if they loose it with their attitude the dick is gone forever This is the circle you should understand |
