Hautside:Since you attend RCCG, you should be able to answer the questions but I have a few answers for you cos I asked: Are these things done for free? Every resident of RCCG camp pay for their electricity consumption as they would have if they were living outside Can you afford to live in the RCCG camp? Unless it has changed, RCCG does not sell land to members to build upon, but you would, when building your house make a back room available to the use of RCCG for as long as that house remains. Haggai Microfinance bank, a private company builds houses for sale though. Why do we keep building new auditoriums? Simple question; simple answer! Auditorium is built based on needs What happens to the old ones? The old ones are converted to other uses as need arises e.g, the 1st ever auditorium by the expressway entrance has buildings on it now |
ahmedbanj:Bros, whose money should they use? Money from Angels? More form Alfas/Imams? Money from banks with interest? The best place to ask for money is from their congregation who support their cause & that is how it is done everywhere |
GoldHorse:I am certainly not wishing bad for Daddy Freeze.......he is entitled to his opinion but my experience with such people is that he has to keep trying to be relevant even through sensationalism. In this respect, he goofed 100% as the G.O is also entitled to ask for whatever amount he chooses....but for Freeze to neglect to simply research about RCCG and castigate them for not employing people and opening factories etc is mischievous. It is on record that RCCG has a 25megawatts power plant supplying electricity to the RCCG Camp where abt 5000 people live. RCCG through their University played a MAJOR role in dealing with the dreaded EBOLA disease as their Virology lab was used for blood tests. RCCG has Social reformatory organs like the Drug rehabilitation centre in Epe etc |
NwaAmaikpe: And its obvious you crave respect but never get it cos respect is earned, not demanded nor received by making unintelligent comments. Pls get a brain reset |
Bhelamblog:Point Number 1: This is simple CROWD FUNDING Point Number 2: It is freewill; nobody was cajoled; coerced or arm twisted, so, it is by choice. For those who are crying and making noise, its obvious that you have never needed money for an endeavour or project but you do not have anything close to it. What will your options be? Family; Friends; Microfinance bank; commercial bank or even sell off your possessions, but note, any which way you choose, people will criticize you, saying, you chose the wrong option. As for Daddy Freeze, he is entitled to his personal opinion but experience and history has it that such expressions come back to haunt you in future endeavors......Yorubas will say, Omode lo n se!! |

Penalty82:You are somewhat correct but not from the Daddy G.O. He was praising and worshiping God from 7.45 -84.5pm. "LIVE from the villa, Aguda House. Residence of the Vice President for PRAISE HOUR. Join us at 7:45pm" |
Police and Prisons Civil Rights Union (POPCRU) condemns the aggravated violation against police in Vanderbijlpark The Police and Prisons Civil Rights Union (POPCRU) notes with contempt the aggravated violent acts displayed in a video doing rounds within social media platforms. Through engaging with our structures in the Vanderbijlpark area, it is understood that on Tuesday morning, our K9 Police officials got a tip-off about 2 properties in the area which were used as drug havens. Acting on the tip-off, 6 police officials with 2 vehicles went to investigate the matter, and upon arrival, they found a group of Nigerian foreign nationals who were both inside and outside the house alleged to be harbouring these drugs. Upon entering the house, they found a suspect in the first room in possession of large quantities of dagga, the second suspect in the second room with unspecified drugs, and a third suspect in the third room, also with unspecified drugs. It is alleged that when the third suspect saw police come into the room, he swallowed an unspecified item, which shortly led to him to him getting a fit. It is understood that when an ambulance was called and arrived, the foreign nationals in the yard refused it entry for some time, and that was when the widely circulated confrontation started with the police. It was only after this that the ambulance people could attend to the 3rd suspect. This led to the foreign nationals accusing the police of killing their friend, and further got the situation aggravated, resulting in the stabbing of an officer and the injury of 5 others. These police officers were all released from hospital today. We are against any form of brutality, be it against police or community members. It is also unacceptable that police officials are disrupted from conducting their duties. The conduct displayed by these foreign nationals in preventing law enforcement officers from doing their job is completely unacceptable, and as POPCRU, we want to call for a full investigation into this matter for a speedy resolution. Our members will never stand idle when their fellow colleagues are being victimised and when our country is under attack by way of destroying our youth through the supply and use of drugs. We encourage our men and women in blue not to be discouraged by such unfortunate and reckless acts by those who think they are above the law, and do all in their might to enforce law and order within our communities. All those implicated must face the law. The time where criminals want to disguise as victims of police is over. Issued by Police and Prisons Civil Rights Union (POPCRU) on 12/10/2017 |
nony43:I was his student in Law of Evidence, he is not only brilliant, he is versatile and he delivers on any assignment/responsibility you give him. |
netflicks:Worry yourself not, Govt and Military airplanes are covered by diplomatic permit. You also cannot enforce default of payment of parking fees once its covered by diplomatic immunity. |
Jengem:London has been cold the last few days and will remain so till month end. The average has been 18degrees centigrade https://www.timeanddate.com/weather/uk/london/historic |

dealslip:Good observation. The 3 of them have been BFF.....They all grew up in middle class families; very cosmopolitan and well educated and widely traveled. They have never had to beg for bread as they were impressive scholars and had good careers. Fowler worked as a bank with Chartered bank (His Mum owns a successful school); Ade Asekun, who is now an Ambassador was Wema Bank Chairman and V.P worked as a successful lawyer; was S.A to Attorney Gen of Nigeria and earned good Dollars working for the UN in Somalia. These are not your hungry politicians who have nothing to go back to in life after holding public office. |
"In this category is Major-General Pat Akem. Having been born on 23 July 1960, he is approaching 57 and should have exited the service last year when he turned 56 in line with the HTACOS. Military sources told SaharaReporters that he owes his continued stay in service to his closeness with acting President Yemi Osinbajo" Sahara Reporters, why are you contradicting yourself? You are the one who reported last year 2016 that Maj Gen Pat Akem had been compulsorily retired and with another mouth saying that he is still in service becos of V.P Osinbajo........which one na Can he be retired and be in service at the same time?https://secure.saharareporters.com/2016/06/12/list-senior-army-officers-compulsorily-retired-nigeria |
I have visited S.A...Joburg specifically over a dozen times in the last 18months and I have interacted with young ladies from Limpopo to KZN; from Benoni to Braam; from Soweto to Kempton Park and I am shocked at the level of physical abuse by South African men!! Its unrivalled in the whole of Africa |
Nairaland, you attract an audience by the quality of your products, now you see why the quality of discourse on Nairaland has become poor. It is because you have reduced a Niche product to "gutter" stories. What a shame! |

Chukwuka16:Believe it or not, some Nigerians are BVN-less! |
“Also, subject (Mr. Adetayo) mentioned Guest House in the Villa, House Seven, and claimed that political meetings were held there by the last administration and faulted that no such meetings have been held there since the inception of this administration. The bolded above mirrors the malaise in the average Nigerian's psyche today. Its simple that because we have been indoctrinated to accept Wrongdoings; Rightdoings are now alien and objectionable to us. ASO ROCK IS NOT A PARTY HQ T4 SHLD NOT BE USED FOR POLITICAL MEETINGS AS WRONGLY DONE FOR 16 YEARS OF PDP RULE. The reporter now sees a right thing as wrong becos the wrong had been fed to us as right. Shame |
Charlie31:I concur with you. 2 things stand out: (1) No genuine online company will ask you to send the details of the back of you card (2) Orders above a certain amount can trigger extra verification and they are in the position to reject your patronage. His money shall be returned to eventually. |
hedonistic:Let us assume they are gifts but remember that the accounts are fraudulent as the Names; Signatories and BVN do not tally and the "official" owners of the accounts have pleaded guilty whether by coercion or by arm twisting or voluntarily |
Kingsley1000:Thers is no controversy here at all. (1) She is not a signatory to the accounts as they are in others' name. The ATM cards do not bear her name and for those who do not know, you are expected to sign at the back of your ATM card with which its verified when you physically present the card. (2) Transfer from a domicilarry account is limited to $10,000 per period except she is opening a Form A or a Form M which have their own process. (3) Storming the bank to withdraw dollars over the counter is a waste of time as there is a limit you can do per day even if she took authorization from the signatories People need to put things in proper context |
tyokunbo:The Army law allows Governors to wear Military uniform/Camo etc but the law also expects you to wear it appropriately and when necessary. Fayose and Gov Ayade wore Camo trivially |

tens4real:Because you do not know anything about Obafemi Awolowo, you are absolved but you are better off educating yourself by reading about him then you would never mention that name in comparison with politicians/leaders today |
ENDTIMEISNEAR:He did not leave Aso Rock to come and inspect MMIA. He had an engagement in lagos and he took that opportunity to inspect since he hasn't passed through it in 2 years as he uses Presidential Wing. It's also a 1st hand inspection of a portion of a project that he is directly handling, which is about easing the way business is done in Nigeria |
izombie:I am sorry to say, but this is the 1st true assessment of the real situation that I am reading here. A LARGE % OF NIGERIANS IN S.A. ARE REPRESENTATIVE OF THE WORST OF BEHAVIOUR. Their lives revolve around chancing; "idan"; drugs; excessive sexual immorality becos S.A girls are loose; deceiving and impregnating S.A girls to collect residency; fraud and 419. On the other hand, there are some very industrious Nigerians but just about 1% of the total. As for the South African girls, they can do anything to have a Nigerian's cassava or cucumber The S.A guys hate Nigerians for our boldness ; confidence and Enterprise but we ourselves are just too bad.....lets call a spade a spade. I fear that one day will come that once u r known to be Nigerian, u can get stabbed immediately, that's how bad we are viewed |
myqel:He supported the attempt by a Rusticated Student who wanted to disrupt Unilag graduation Ceremony. What should the security men have done? Allow them? Just because he is Sahara Reporters? Do the other graduands not have a right to a peaceful milestone ceremony. If the rusticated student felt aggrieved, he should have gone to court. Disruption of Lawful assembly and Threat to public peace are punishable offences by law |
