Romance › Re: 10 Reasons Why Marriages/relationships Fail In Nigeria by Guyman02: 3:11pm On Mar 01, 2011
Why marriages and relationships fail in Nigeria,
1. Lack of money
2. Lack of finance
3. Lack of ego
4. Lack of Owo
5. Lack of Kudi
grin grin grin grin
No matter the offence a man commits, if he comes back home with the latest Rav 4 and all weekend stay at eko hotels he would always be forgiven and the relationship will survive.
Just like the last thread about the guy complaining that his wife and inlaws do not respect him after he lost his job and impregnated his wife while searching for a job and with divorce staring him in the face. He only needs some good money to throw around to save his marriage and get back his respect from his inlaws

As some pastors will say,
NO Romance Without Finance, Any Romance Without Finance will always lead to Annoyance grin grin grin

Family › Re: Rats: How Do I Get Rid Of These Rats! by Guyman02: 4:09pm On Feb 24, 2011
The average rat in my former neighbourhood became so bold that they join us in the parlour to watch super eagles match. Walahi, fear don comot for their body kpatakpata.

We bought traps, but it never catches them, they would go behind the trap and eat the fish bait, piss on the trap and walk away.
One day we ran out of fish bait and tried to deceive them by putting the picture of a fish on the trap, but when I came to check the trap in the morning to see if it has caught any rat, I saw the picture of a rat on top of the trap; Bros, i just pack my things, hire pickup van and ran from that area.
Politics › Re: Nigeria To Buy Buses From China, When We Have 2 Bus Manufacturing Company by Guyman02: 1:05pm On Feb 22, 2011
If the Biafrans could produce Armoured Personel Carriers Forty years ago, i wonder why we are still awarding contracts to the Chinese to supply us with mass transit buses in 2011. Give that money without sentiments to local engineers in Aba or Nnewi and see if they would not establish a factory and deliver quality buses within a five year period.
Who is deceiving who? I am fully in the power industry and most of our equipments are manufactured in Egypt such as Exhaust stacks, HVACS, transformers etc factories owned by GE, Siemens, Alstom etc because the Egyptians requested that some of the factories be sited in their country if the West want continous access to the Suez canal. presently We have orders for power generating equipment that are three years in queue waiting.
Therefore stable power is still a long time off, we waited so long before commencing the road map because power generation increased capacity is a continous process and not static as Nigerian former rulers thought.
I commend Prof Barth Nnaji for siting his 140MW power plant in Aba. If he could deliver as he promised, then expect to see a boost in manufacturing from Aba and export through Portharcourt seaport. They have the potential to capture the West African market.

I visited Aba recently and saw locally manufactured and improvised KEKE NAPEP trycycles built from the engines of old motorcycles by welders from scratch.
Iam always dismayed whenever i see stories like this and we complain of unemployment among our able bodied youths.

Afterall Zimbabwe devalued their currency to the extent that even if you throw a million zimbabwean dollar on the streets of Harare; nobody will pick it up. Is that what these guys are now planning for us?
The same IMF that is pushing GEJ to send our soldiers to Ivory Coast and install their puppet and former Deputy Director Allasane Ouattara forcefully into power is now asking him to devalue the Naira? Allah kiyaye!!! angry angry angry

We should be the one to be in charge of their whole economy especially the oil industry as we do presently in sao tome.

They surely need us in terms of education, oil industry, banking, military training and many more, so time for Nigeria to start playing a bigger roll before other countries roll into that place.
I Share your point, advertise for Nigerian Youths willing to go to south sudan for work. Lets not leave things there for the Chinese guys alone, we have to start looking for jobs outside our shores for our young graduates. We have the intellect and energy and resourcefulness to make things happen anywhere in Africa at least.

Well said my brother. . .help me tell the eediots who can reason beyond seeing Muslims as a threat to their existence. . .

But on the south south issue you raised. . .you sound like a conspiracy theorist. .
Wait till you see the Americans advice to GEJ on wikileaks concerning oil production in Nigeria. With the festering crisis among the northern tribes, it will be very difficult for them to come together for now to pose a real threat to GEJs ambition.

Therefore, if GEJ solves the problem at this point, Northern unity could be achieved and they will have a strong claim to rule Nigeria in 2011, but as it is now, North Central sees themselves as being better protected under a GEJ government than under a Hausa or Fulani led Govt whose people are attacking the minorities including the Tiv, Berom etc.

Do the political calculations my guy!!!
Politics › Re: We Will Fish Out Aliens Who Registered – Immigration Boss by Guyman02: 12:05pm On Feb 17, 2011
This is super story, its a known fact that they speak hausa and are predominantly muslims so they mix very well with the local communities and are encouraged to vote during elections and census by the elite to increase the population data and they have freedom of movement between Nigeria and Niger/Chad. The only ones you can detect among them are the Touaregs or buzu because of their fair skin colour and hair texture.
Politics › Re: Jos Monarch Relocates From Palace As 12 Die In Violence by Guyman02: 11:48am On Feb 17, 2011
If GEJ decides to solve the Jos crisis, attention will be shifted to the Niger Delta militancy and affect oil production and investment in that sector with the western nations warning their nationals to avoid the South south area. But with those re.tards killing themselves up North in Maiduguri, Bauchi, Jos etc no one will realise the failure of the govt in the Niger Delta.

Leaving the biased Gen Hassan in charge of STF after loosing his wife to hoodlums in Jos is meant to please the Hausa and Fulani community in this election period so that they will not accuse GEJ of siding with a Northern minority tribe. Nothing stops the govt from posting a competent Igbo or Edo or ijaw officer to jos to pacify the city just like Gen Maiyaki a Hausa officer did to Aba and Umuahia recently by routing the gang of robbers and kidnappers terrorising Abia State for long time. its all politics. I once asked my wife to return a gift from her ex when I realised he started calling her to appologise for their breakup before we met. He was telling her that he was just calling to ask after her welfare and nothing more, then he sent her a gift.
I made her to call him in my presence and tell him that her husband doesnt like men sending her gifts except during child dedication.
He asked  her, that means you are pregnant, she responded Yes I am carrying his lovely baby; perhaps you can bring back the gift in seven months time. Since then he stopped calling her. I dont give room for temptation.

America is assasinating people and killing Igbo businessmen in Maiduguri just to have reason to invade Nigeria. The bomb that failed to explode in a Methodist Church in Bauchi was planted by the USA to cause religious tension in Nigeria. The killing of Muslims returning from a wedding in Jos and the killing of Christians in Dogo nahauwa was carried out by FBI.

Why are some Nigerians hypocrites? the Christians burnt 5 mosque and 50 houses and even killed 4 people, yet no one is talking about this barbaric act? if it was from the Muslims, this thread would have been filled with insults on the Islam religion.

I am a Christian but i won't and shouldn't support injustice, killing and fighting from my fellow Christians. If we preach "love you neighbor as yourself", then why should we practice something else?

Anyways, RIP to the dead ones and may God judge us all accordingly.
Other media reports say churches and mosques were destroyed.
As people have proposed here that education from primary to university should be made free may not work in the north because all it takes is for one bearded mallam to declare it 'HARAM' and the people will abandon it. Why do we have BOKO HARAM? its because some religious leaders have declared that Western Education is Sin. But they are quick to jump into a Western built Boeing 747 to Jedda for the pilgrimage in Mecca or use western manufactured AK 47 to kill policemen and Christians in Maiduguri.

Politics › Re: Nnewi City: Abandoned And Neglected! by Guyman02: 12:52pm On Jan 21, 2011
There is a disconnect between the people and their government. There is also a wild belief among the local people in Igboland that political appointments whether by election or selection is for the benefit of the individual and his family. Peter Obi has been working hard to re-orientate the people that governance is about service to the community.

There is also a fear by the Igbo elite that doing anything for the good of the common people in Igbo communities will lead to getting too close to them and they can do them harm instead of appreciating their efforts.

The fear of the unknown can lead to delays, its difficult to build new roads and projects in many Igbo communities because it will pass through 'Offia ndi nmuo' land of the spirits and bring calamity upon the community as propounded by their forefathers and the people resist and this can lead to projects budgeted to be relocated to other areas. Its also difficult for the people to provide land for projects even if it is for the good of the generality.

While we implore the FG to help this cities in the SE to develop to modern standards, its also imperative that the people should change the way they see things and think of means of working as brothers devoid of rancour to achieve their goals.
The SE People should go back to the visions of people like Michael Okpara and Sam Mbakwe for the SE to achieve greatness.

Some are schooling in America living with his Igbo wife Jemila (formerly Jennifer). Others are shopping in Dubai and skiing in UK. You also find them cruising around Abuja in flashy latest cars with well paid jobs as inexperienced political appointees to Ministers and Directors General of parastatals waiting for time to come of age and contest for local govt chairmanship seats, state assemblies, then to national assembly, ambassadorial appointments etc and take over from their parents and the circle continues.

Atikus speech was just too unpresidential, he spent his time attacking the character of GEJ instead of discussing issues on how he hopes to move the nation forward, he was very aggressive and reactive. I wonder who prepared such a speech for him.
From what I observed, GEJ was advised by somebody at the podium not to react to Atikus speech, he appeared very gentlemanly and that must have swayed a lot of undecided delegates to vote for him.

Like Obama, Atiku needs to employ a competent speech writer and analyst to avoid further embarrassment, even the Northern delegates were embarrassed by his delivery
