talk2hb1: I learn not use WordPress for complex application in 2012 when I decided to build a Bulk SMS portal with, although it works fine but I spent 90% of my useful time working on the project. At the end of the day here is my conclusion about WordPress: #) See WordPress as a plane that could fly and will take you for a smooth ride. with capability to fly within your country zone. #) Joomla as a Beautiful Plane that could take you on a ride with enough effizy. This plane could take you from one continent to another without any hitch. #) Drupal as a super Jumbo Multipurpose engine plane that allow you to add Swimming pool, Jacuzzi, Hotel, Football field, etc to it. The plane will not only take you on intercontinental flight but on inter Galactic flight. In conclusion trying to build a Complex Project like online store with WordPress is like trying to kill an elephant with a kitchen Knife, while building a simple Blogging website with Drupal is like killing a Fly with Bazooka . http://www.qlickas.com/2015/04/21/wordpress-versus-joomlah-versus-drupal/ Regards Habeeb Salami Wow! You're the only person who managed to use English on that thread. That op has an evil agenda to blow up dull brains like mine. Hehehe So what you're saying is that Drupal(I'm only hearing it for the first time) is better, right? If it is, do you have ny link to an ebook I can download to understand it better. To say I'm a newbie would be an understatement so I'd appreciate it if you can reply in plain English. I built an online store, www.theniministore.com, using wordpress but I need something more professional. Your advice will be greatly appreciated ie if you reply in plain English |

The second is many of them may be like : I will take no sh*t from my man just like my mum, I could easily divorce. . My mum afterall lived happily and cartered for us comfortably without our dad's help, so I don't necessarily need a man, bla bla bla..
Meanyl, anyone wey wan divorce go divorce whether from a broken home or not... Word. There's always two sides to a coin and in the end generalisation is always subject to inconsistencies |
Politics › Re: Godwin Emefiele Tells Buhari To Sell Off Nigeria's Oil Stakes by hahn(m): 5:44pm On Apr 24, 2015 |
Buhari is not as dumb as GEJ. To imagine that these are the calibre of people Jonathan had by his side one cannot help but but rejoice that he lost the election. Nigeria would have been doomed under another 4years of his clueless, incompetent rule Billyonaire: This is a policy somersault that is capable of re-defining Nigeria as we know it. If Nigeria is to sell off its 55% Equity in the Oil Sector just to raise N14.9 trillion; Where will the Federal Government raise the Monthly Allocation she shares to the States every 4 weeks ? What if the N14.9 trillion is misused and the country goes broke, then we become another Greece.
May be this is a way of making the States think of how to raise funds to cater for their needs instead of parasitic dependence on the Federal Government, but its a grave idea to have people richer than the Government. This is extreme Capitalism that Nigeria can not afford to buy into. This is NOT USA where Tax regimes and brackets are strong and enforced. This is a single bullet that can destroy Nigeria economically.
Emefielie by this singular suggestion should be made to resign from CBN, because illiterate Buhari might buy into this idea and its going to be the end game for the contraption called One Nigeria. |

I use windows 8.1 and I'm really loving it. I always love trying out new things. I'd advice that you go to your settings and switch off your updates. Most times, the updates are unnecessary and might delete some important apps or even files. I've never had issues with the keyboard though but sometimes I have issues with the mouse pad. What I do is press the power button which puts it in sleep mode then I log back in. Usually helps. As regards the removed apps, why don't you try to restore them. That might help. Anyone that can help me with the key code to microsoft office 365 will be most appreciated. Thank you Gemc3: My laptop acts funny. Windows 8.1. It is quite new. Got it last October.
I start up my computer, and the keypads refuse to work. Then i have to restart. When I do, either it updates endlessly, or it asks me what i want to do. refresh? exit and continue to windows 8.1, etc
One day I refreshed. Took a while but after that, I noticed that some of my installed apps disappeared. (Blackberry app and Google Chrome are the ones i have noticed) Instead, on my screen, there is a foolish icon named "removed apps". I don't understand its problem. For now, i am just ignoring it.
I dunno if i explained the problem well but i hope u understand. can u help? @Themaingate |

olivegirl: . My dear that name jesus is not about westners. It is accepted method olisakeluwa wished us to follow. God has been existing in africa before this method came. We have to embrace it not deny the truth. But what I don't belief is making this black skin inferior. We are all gods. Thank you Jesus IS about westerners dear. Christianity is an imported belief that was transported to Africa by the Europeans from Israel. It was the same Christians who brough religion that also brought slavery and subjected the black race to years of stagnancy as they had successfully stolen our history by exporting a large majority of our fore fathers to work as slaves in building their own country. If God had been existing in Africa, I wonder why we are still so poor. Didn't he give us the ability to be creative? Despite all the resources we have, we have never discovered any of them. Crude oil was discovered by whites while gold, diamonds etc were only given value after the white man arrived on this continent. Despite all the trees in our forests, the black man was never able to build a ship. Despite all the coal and iron ore we weren't able to build trains and power them until the whites came. Jesus didn't die for anyone but himself and believing in such fables is what has led us to where we are. I hope I've been able to provoke your thought because its apparent from your write ups that you haven't taken time to think deeply about this issues. |

You're only wasting your time trading words with ignoramuses such as that dude. They have proven time and time again that their brains are incapable of logical, intelligent and non biased reasoning Ymodulus: I just see people rambling, about Hausa - Fulani/ Islamic Nepotism. This has nothing to do with that.
Abba was promoted to serve a purpose, something he was doing rather well until the last few weeks, when he started to actually do part of his job. Abba Moro was not promoted to please Northern Muslim Hausa-Fulani, he was promoted to do a hatchet job for GEJ and PDP because of his past history as Aide de Camp to Mariam Abacha, something he did rather well until the general elections.
Your way of looking at Nigeria is the reason why all the brigands (hausa, yoruba, Igbo, nupe, igala, efik, muslim, Christian etc.) have been able to plunder Nigeria. The simple truth is that their good and bad people regardless of race, creed and colour.
I believe this is an excellent relative justice that is been observed. Same way Minima was promoted and 35 of his seniors has to go. The problem is that the men in uniform are no longer serving the nation but individuals as such any leader will need who will be loyal to him not to the nation. The involvement of uniform personnel into politics create the problem of their dishonest, distrust and franchise.
However there is hope as the next adminstration will try to appoint officers at and when they are due.
The general will make a difference. |

We don't have to be passing through hell as black sand "If Jesus permit" and you're still talking about culture emulation. This is strong example of culture imitation |

Politics › Re: The Illusion Of Making It Big In Europe by hahn(m): 5:00pm On Apr 22, 2015 |
hejda: partly agree with you on this. the illusion of europe or abroad as per say is so deeply rooted in us, to the point that we hardly appreciate what we have. there are people with relatively good life with high socioeconomic position, leaving all that to hardly having a toilet cleaning job in europe. treated ad the lowest in the social heriachy.. you'll be surprised how nigerian are living abroad You probably misunderstood me. Nigerians do have creativity and drive and there are lots of sincere Nigerians. However, we seem to be aunable to exhibit these traits on our own soil. Understandably, there's so much limiting us as a people. We have bad leaders who are more concerned about looting than actually serving the people. Poor infrastructure, lack of security and for some reason I don't seem to understand find it necessary to hold on to past beliefs and practises that have never had any positive impact on our development all in the name of tradition and culture. For instance, recently during the outbreak of a "disease" in Ondo state, instead of the people to have carried out research as to what would have led to the deaths of the victims, people were busy offering sacrifices to "gods" that are incapable of providing constant electricity. |
