BIG MISTAKE! Many bosses have this attitude that anyone is replaceable easily like gloves, and that they can hire someone even better. So they keep treating employees poorly. They do a disservice to their company. A good employee has knowledge of systems, products, and processes. They have built relationships with clients and co-workers which takes years to build. When you lose a good employee, you lose part of your culture. And you may lose your own future. Never push loyal employees to the point where they no longer care! Agree? |

NIGERIANS ARE SHOUTING PETER OBI AT THE SAME TIME FEARS THAT EXPERTS IN ELECTION RIGGING HAVE REMOVED INEC ICT DIRECTOR. Is it really a SMARTER move for rigging against the choice of all suffering Nigerians that cries out for fresh air? Is INEC ready for a free and fair election in 2023? "Nigerian are beginning to entertain fears that INEC may not conduct a free, fair and transparent election in 2023. The latest redeployment of Engr Chidi Nwafor, the Director of ICT is a sign that all is not well. Engr Chidi #Nwafor was transferred from Abuja headquarters of INEC to Enugu. He was removed as INEC Director of ICT to a mere Administrative Secretary to INEC Enugu state. It was gathered that Engr Chidi Nwafor was the one who introduced the Bimordal Voting Accreditation System, BVAS. to replace the card reader. The BVAS has proven to be more liable and has largely eliminated rigging. With BVAS, the issue of over voting, double voting and hijacking of ballot boxes have been eliminated. It also transmits results electronically to the INEC central serve. More importantly, Engr Chidi Nwafor from information available to AIF MEDIA introduced other applications to help eliminate double registration and ghost resignation. The application is capable of sieving voters register and produce real voters. It helped in reducing dubious numbers of voters in some states to real organic voters. Nigerians are asking why instead of promoting the brain behind this electoral innovation, he was demoted and transferred to Enugu as Administrative Secretary just 6 months to the election. Is Prof Mahmood and INEC ready for a free and fair election in 2023. There are already doubts". |

Just a reminder: Companies would rather pay 100k to a recruiter to replace you than give you a 25K raise Do your job to your level best. Never feel entitled to your place of work Despite being busy at work spare sometimes for your family. It's not a bad thing to have a plan B |

In my travels to India and immersion into the culture, what I observe is a lack of emotional intelligence and ascension through the ranks through attrition. They study hard, retain through rote, and are tenacious. But that’s the extent. Also, in talking to nearly every Desi friend I have, they share the common sentiment that the work environments in India are often abusive and toxic, and the ability to progress by merit alone is extremely difficult, if possible at all, so coming here is a motivator The work ethic of the Indians I have encountered makes this understandable to me. Your work/job is your first religion as one Indian explained to me. I know they still hold strong to family dignity and so people are diligent with work and relationships so as not to bring dishonor to the family name Whobedatte:They have mastered the art of executing group economic agenda , each Indian intentionally lends his shoulder to another Indian, and which is why in a typical IT team of 10, they will have 7 members at the minimum. And they deliver . Another factor that helps them maintain a sharp focus shooting for the skies, is how they manage the home front, they live in clusters, close to each other, grandma is present taking care the new born, doing school run, helping with chores at home, whilst the parents maintain laser focus on their pursuits . I admire their community |
