I have to say Henry wasn't a BIG PLAYER in Europe before he joined Arsenal.
Just before France 98, despite Theirry Henry's phenomenal season at Monaco, i cannot recall any of the European journalists mentioned his name in the world cup previews.

Henry didn't even feature in the final of France 98 against Brazil. He sat on the bench throughout the game so what made him BIG.
I have watched with interest how u people quote transfer fees without really considering the indices n factors that makes transfer fees huge.
