This is backstory and what prompted the sale of the matress;

On the 30th of March this year, Ibrahim called me that I should please send money to a particular account that he's going to send to me, that he's trying to make transfer to the person but it's not going through. Now, it's been over three months I sent the money and he's yet to refund. Few days to Sallah, I told him about the money, he said there's a client that's supposed to give him agency money, but the client travelled, to be back the next day.


I just spoke with him this night. I called him, telling him that I'll be going to Sarkin Hausawa's house on Jumma 'aa( Friday) to go and tell him everything. He's interested in the Sarki's daughter. So, when I told him I'll be going to the Sarki's house, he pleaded that I shouldn't go. Now, he has offered to give me one of his mattress in exchange for the 10k. But, he said I should add 5k to it and come get it. But, I refused the 5k addition. Someone had priced the mattress for about 25k, but he refused to sell. The mattress is big. I told him I'm not adding anything, that I'll come for the mattress tomorrow. The mattress is a big one. He has two, making his bed very high. The type you might even need a stool to climb. That when you sit on it, your leg will be up, and not be able to touch the ground.

The thing is, I'm looking for someone who might be interested in buying the matress. Quote me if you're interested.

It's not the worst trust me. Leave resources or technology we all talk about. Nigerians are corrupt. I witnessed first hand people willing to sell their votes, I saw party agents collating lists of people that voted their party. Nigeria can't get it right anytime soon. We have a system that is built on corruption and the poor people or should I say the masses are the engine room. Truth is even if this election is conducted a hundred times, President Tinubu will still clinch it. If you know the amount of money that was spent in this election, you will forever remain silent. My candidate couldn't match up, he was busy whipping Northern sentiments. Whereas money had already divided the North already. I don't know about elections that took place in the South East, South West or South South,but that of the North was straight forward. Vote buying was the in-thing. Violence was very minimal.

Then the Babanla fraud of history. 2015 election that ushered in PMB. That election was so rigged. Every party rigged in it's strong hold. The highest rigger won eventually. Since I have been partying in elections, that of 2019 and 2023 are the most peaceful I have witnesses. There was obviously vote buying and some skirmish. But the votes counted more compared to previous elections that I have witnessed.

Back in the days, muslims exhibit some cool characteristics. I remember my childhood days in nasarawa state when we will always be looking forward to the announcement of sadaqah to get free gifts and help from muslims around us, many times, they will stand in front of their house and started calling people willingly.

Nowadays, this same set of people are always noticed for wrong reasons, example, i asked for help more than 10 muslims but none help me even during their festive season. Don't get me wrong, i'm not using this to judge them.
