The Yoruba Government...

Buhari represented Arewa fully.. had appointments from .. Northwest, Northeast, North central.. and other Nigerians..

Yoruba called him nepotistic and tribal taking all to North.. forgetting it was Arewa turn to rule..

Now is the southern turn

They Yoruba people shouting southern unity .. has turn southerners to southwest Yoruba..

Southeast and south south minorities are pushed out..
.. is good , the North is not bothered.. they’ve gotten over this Yoruba reality and patiently waiting for the next turn it will get to them..
Their young politicians are keep note quietly.. they’re know for patience as farmers..

The Southwest that always scream on paper .. already known not to take half of what they comfortably give without qualms.. are the people in mixed.. for it will come to them soon.. as they’ve clearly exhausted all arsenal of opposition attack.

Na reason Yoruba peeps will keep shouting “ igbos will never rule Nigeria “ because they never grind beans ,e don Dey smell., .. fear!! Fear of receiving what they give to others..

Just like yesterday Buhari 8 years don waka and north has gone quiet

Someday igboman will be on that seat... hehehehehehehehehe..

Some will die before the actual dead.

Yoruba, should enjoy their government.. and make sure they allow others enjoy theirs when it’s time

Stop whipping tribal sentiments. The North have gotten fair share of appointments so far. We are not complaining. Dont complain for us. The North will always be relevant in any government. So you dont need to swallow panadol ontop our headache.

brother all these excuses na for people wey dey live inside third world jungle, if you have been fortunate enough to drive in a first world country they do not listen to dumb excuses like the one you just presented. You are taught how to calculate every situation and foresee every situation before it happens . And you should not be driving at a rate where your brakes cannot be applied effectively. You AFRICAN mad people are operating a dangerous weapon ( a vehicle is a dangerous weapon ) casually without thinking about the life of others . It's very typical in Nigeria to be that selfish and egotistic
They are taught yen yen yen yet in the U.SA there has been a total of 19,522 fatal hit and runs in the last 10 years? Am not sure Nigerias own us even half if that. If you are tured of being African, go join them over there. Humans are same everywhere.

However, some pedestrians dont know how to cross as well. Some just suddenly appear on the road like they have been waiting for you to hit them. My own leg kuma no dey far from brake.

which countries does Nigeria export cooking gas to?

what is the government doing to use the flared gas to meet domestic demand?

I think we export to spain, china and portugal. Also that of Morocco and Europe is on the pipeline. Gaskiya for the flared gas i dont know. Serious investment is needed in that sector like I said earlier, we need investors to tap our gas potentials.

I don't think I remember the last time that a new president came in and his approval rating became so terribly bad in less than one year of being in office. Tinubu hasn't spent a year in office and things got worse in a speedy manner never witnessed before. If the citizens are already very upset at this stage than what will happen in the next coming years of Tinubu's tenure if things doesn't improve?
He will complete his tenure God willing. However, my fear is that will Hunger allow us witness his tenure completion? grin

How does this help us?

You stop export to reduce price and then stop foreign exchange from coming in? Short term win long term loss?

Or what am I missing?
You export when you have fully satisfied domestic consumption. You export excess. In Nigeria, reverse is the case. The LPG gas we produce isnt enough to satisfy our demands and we are exporting thereby creating scarcity and orice inflation.
LPG production is a ceitical sector that if ome invests, you will reap bountifully. The potential isnt fully harnessed in this country.

Isnt itbthe same banks that are sellimg to the BDC? Greed and corruption has finished Naija. Banks will always tell toubthat they dont have newly printed notes, but BDC always have available. Who give them?

As an economist do you think things can still get better and also do you think Obi would have made any significant changes knowing fully well the mess on ground from Buhari's administration?
Truth is Nigeria has a system problem. Its a problem any President will find very difficult to solve. We have weak institutions and strong men in Nigeria instead of Strong institutions. Our Judiciary, Law Enforcement, Civil Service, Legislators, Executives et al are all highly corrupt entities. H.E Peter Obi would have had it more difficult than Tinubu cos if he tried to change the status quo like the way President Tinubu did, the sabotage for loud pass this current one. What makes Nigerias situation more pitiful is the fact that Nigeria is a poor country. We are rich in untapped resources and unproductive manpower, but poor in all other economic variables. What Nigeria needs is a revolution. We need ditch that constitution and democracy into the atlantic ocean and form a new system of government that we will all abide by. A system of government that is applicable to Nigerias situation. There is Socialism, Communism, Autocracy, Monarchy, Capitalism et al. Whatever we will modify and adopt must be done fast cos i fear that this Democracy that we currently practice is at its end stage.

Lol. He is not under any form of attack. During his campaign, he already said it that things will be hard, so i no really bother from time. Na the way when e take come change in the past 1 -2 months dey bother me. Everyone now has an excuse to increase their prices of commodity abnormally. Everyone now has started to blame dollar for even garri and local rice. Diesel price increased by 20% but price of rice increased by 65%, if this isnt madness, then what then?

This APC government have no sense. You devalue you currency to almost #1770 to a,$ollar They have to increase their prices so as to cover their cost of production. That is common economics. What did u want them to do? to produce and sale at a loss?.
Oga calm down. 90% of the whole raw material for cement production is sourced from Naija. Its only machinery maintenance and spare parts that are secured abroad. Is this enough reason to just increase the orice of cemennt abnormally? Why did Dangote stop production in 2 trains all of a sudden? Nigeria have given too many elites monopoly, thats what we are suffering right now. If everyone was given a level playing field, we wouldnt be in a fix right now.

Who else is still in doubt that the Fulanis are in charge of Nigeria? This man openly gave the president an indirect threat and let's not forget that the Sultan and his Emirs up north held a meeting just this week with some bleek conclusion onnth state of the north.

This same individuals all failed to caution Buhari when he was laying the death trap for Nigerias economy but now, found their voices to talk and caste Tinubu over the failure midwifed by their son Buhari.

For all our lesson teachers in the west, the dile is now caste as the north is obviously cooking something, let's see who wins this epic battle already unfolding.

With the way Fulani herdsmen are going about destroying people's homes and farms while Fulani bandits are kidnapping people across Nigeria, it's high time we started taking sensitive security positions from the northerners because it appears those guys are extreme terror sympathisers.
At least discussion is ongoing im state police. This will to a large extent be a step in the right direction. Though i have 2 reservatio agaist this state police thing.
1. Issue of Funding. Governors barely pay salaries of civil servants due to corruption, lack of IGR or just non chalance.
2. Abuse of power. A situation where governors pay the piper, they will dictate the tune s they want.
I have since realized that our major problem in Nigeria is that we put so much focus on the FG while absolving the State Government. Imagine in my state, local government chairman cant even co struct a 1 kilometer road, they cant even approve pay rise. The State Government has rendered them useless and inffective. If we dont start holding Local and State Government to account, we will be bear the brunt eventually.
Car Talk / Re: My Neighbour Jacked Up My Car by HarunaWest(m): 11:27am On Feb 16
Missowombo:
Dear Family landers. I am here to seek your advice on how to rescue my car from my neighbour.

I bought a car, direct from abroad, a very clean and sweet ride, and registered in September, 2023 (5months ago). However, due to the high fuel consumption( V6, 3.5l engine) and the ever unstable fuel price today, I decided to put it up for sale to get a smaller engine capacity. A neighbour expressed interest in buying the car and decided to pay in installment which I agreed. I was also searching for a replacement at this time hoping to use the money realized from the sales to get my preferred ride. My preferred ride prices were shockingly high such that even if I doubled the price I gave to my neighbour it will still not be enough to buy the new ride. Prices rise by the hour these days in Nigeria and I have no hand in this crisis. I returned to my neighbour to inform him that I will not be selling the car anymore due to the present crises in prices of goods in the country. I apologized profusely for every inconvenience and transferred his money back to him. He got angry and said that I must submit the car key and documents to him. He even threatened to send his community and area boys to beat me up and extract the above items.

I came back from work to see my car jacked up, surrounded by 2 other vehicles to prevent the car's exit. For the records, there is no written or signed agreement between him and I concerning this sale. I refunded all his money 1 day after he paid his last installment and kept back my car. I have no hand in Nigeria's current problems. I am pushed to use force here but I am thinking that some initial peaceful resolution could be an option

You arent a good business person. So you had to wait for him to make a final paymnet before refunding his money to him? Are you kidding me. You didnt make up your mind at the beginning or midway but at the end? You trapped his money for a period, the money lost value and you are returning same to him. Thats not fair, you dont do business that way. If i were him, I go comot 2 tire and rims go sell am. Since transaction is alreqdy informal it will be leave and let live or live and let die.

SA played better cos we allowed it. We didnt have a tactic to counter their long ball pressing. There was nothing too exceptional about their ground ball play. In the first 20 minutes of the second half, the gake changed in out favour because SA tried to play from the Back and it didnt work for them. Like you said, it wasnt SA day to won. I pray Cote D Ivoire dont adopt that long ball pressing as well cos it seems our Coach has no response to such tactic.

The Nigerian Masses are in a very rough and tough place right now.

In 2014 things were far better in Nigeria, there is no need to go into details, but APC sponsored by Tinubu and his friends made Nigerians believe that we are been badly governed, APC organized and sponsored the 2012 and 2014 anti Jonathan protest.

Why can't PDP sponsor a protest against this wicked government?
Oga close mouth. During PDP time we were badly governed and we are still badly governed. However as at that time, APC hadn't tasted power, so we assumed them to be different. But alas we have seen the premium shege that we seek. PDP cant criticize too much cos they are part of this mess that we are in. The most viable critic should have been LP, but its just built on one mans antecedents. Its the Nigerian people that should come out and stage a protest and not a political party.
