They said her car was stolen. She bought this car from a licensed car dealer... very reputable. The original owner of the car was kidnapped while traveling with the car and the car was left. His family were tired of police antics and in a bid to raise money for his ransom, sold the car. Na there wahala start.
Police started harrassing the victim's family about why they paid the ransom etc. The victim's family had to settle to prevent further harassment. One of their ogas was not satisfied with the share and wanted the car on top but since it had already been sold , he flagged it as a stolen vehicle and involved the Abba Kyari.

The Abba Kyari's boys arrested all involved. The person that bought and sold the car to the dealer, and the dealer. I learnt each of them had to settle not less than 700k. In fact one of the officers told my cousin that my aunt is lucky that she is an elderly woman or she would have been detained too with the car dealers. They confiscated the car collected, whatever they could and disappeared. The car dealer later came to apologise to my aunt for the embarrassment and was narrating his ordeal. He said they traveled to another state so he can show them the guy who sold him that car and he said on the way there were several meet ups with criminals who will come and settle the boys.

Very true. I know one broke guy who somehow got to be handpicked for the House of Reps from his constituency. He didn't even have a decent car or accommodation in Abuja. Response from Barr Hamza Nuhu on the Blackmail Attempt on DCP Abba Kyari by a Criminal Afeez Mojeed earlier charged to court.

Fraudster Afeez Mojeed defrauded 94million Naira From a Victim. He was arrested 6yrs ago and 41m was recovered from the proceeds of the crime which he voluntarily paid the victim(Owner of the money) back directly through the victim’s Account.

He Confessed on Video and in written that he bought Honda Account 2008 model and 7m land from the 94m he defrauded and that he has squandered the remaining 31m on hotels and girlfriends. He submitted the car and land documents which was registered as exhibit before He was charged to court and after some years he was discharged not acquitted from court because the complainant was not coming to court as most Nigerians do.

The land document and the car That were registered as exhibit are still kept with the exhibit keeper in lagos.

The criminal will be re-Arrested and charge to court again as he was not acquitted by the court also the complainant has assured the Police that he is in Nigeria now and he is ready to be attending the court process untill his case is concluded this time around because he said he will not leave his balance of 31m to the Fraudster.

We are surprise the Fraudster is mentioning Abba Kyari’s name like he gave him One kobo. He has not given him one kobo and it’s on record that the Respected officer have never collected money from any of his Suspects despite the thousands of cases he has handled all these years.

He wouldn’t have been who he is today if he is a cheap corrupt officer like this. He has no evidence of giving Abba Kyari one kobo. All lies from a criminal that was charged to court. Let him prove all the lies he is talking. Also the Criminal should know that giving false information is still an offense in Nigeria for which one can be charged to Court.

With 50k now a Lawyer can write Pettition for you based on any False allegations you make without prove against anybody and you can leak it to the media and if the person in question have a name or he is known In the country it will sell. But legal actions will be taken because criminals like this cannot try such and go free.

Two factors are largely responsible for this unwholesome outcome:

1. The rudderless, clueless and insensitive Buhari regime that had to wait for protests in order to do something about the EndSars agitation that has been persistent since 2017!

2. The 'hip crowd' protesters who refused to back down even after government finally abolished the SARS unit and committed to comprehensive action. There was really no need to continue the protest beyond that point... Turning the whole thing to a fiesta or concert without an endgame. What was the point? It had to escalate at some point.

Akwa Ibom and Abakaliki surprised me. These are supposed to be shining examples of peace and tranquillity in Nigeria.

Just goes to show that there's a lot of fragile 'peace' in Nigeria. Things can very easily and unpredictably get out of hand.
