Ishilove: Love her or hate her, you can't take away the fact that she is really hardworking.
Linda is more of a news aggregator than writer. She sources news articles from various sources and publishes them. To write a solid blog article takes the better part of 45mins to an hour depending on the contents, so if she makes ten posts an hour then it means she is basically copying and pasting.
Linda doesn't blog alone anymore. She has staff writers who contribute to the blog. They all join in the dumbing down of the masses with inane yeyebrity news.
Most bloggers wanna be like Linda Ikeji but lack the passion, commitment and drive. The majority of bloggers in the blogosphere are copy and paste, with a large number of them passing through the unhallowed walls of Nairaland. They copy word for word from other blogs and jostle for home page coverage. Melogist, gistmelove and gist4kids come readily to mind. (sorry guys, no offence intended. I'm not hating. Just making an observation)
Anyway it's part of the hustle. If you want to stand out in the over-crowded blogosphere then you need to be unique. You need to stand out to be noticed. For example, instablog9ja is one blogger I admire. His posts are unique in the sense that the guy goes out of his way to add the extra to otherwise ordinary posts. Another is Lailasblog. She tries as much as possible to take a piece of news and blog about it DIFFERENTLY from other blogs.
These nairaland bloggers need to take note. Being Linda no be beans So you sabi English like this? Issoryt. |

charix: The problem is nowadays she has no exclusive Nigerian news to report. What gained her followers back in the day has reached a grinding halt; exclusive, scandalous celeyeyebrity gists. 99% of nollywood personalities have befriended her so she can't report news against them. She has been reduced to posting news about the Kardashians, eggplants and other foreign media personalities most Nigerians wouldn't care to know.
Even her poster content has dropped. You now see posts with 97 comments of which majority are 'k', 'yes', 'linda take note' and other mundane writeups. Most of her blog visitors are in it only for the monthly giveaways and not there to learn anything. I only visit the site now based on habit built over the years. Very very true. I'd say that Stella Dimoko's blog (SDK) has a far better poster content quality and substance than what you find on LIB these days. Diminishing returns has set in, I guess. It is only a matter of time before her ratings and earnings tumble. |

Nigerian journalists and bloggers are annoying. Lenox Mall where? Is there one in Lagos or Abuja, or is it in the United States or where? Na wa. Even the OP and the moderators are not serious. See topic: bla bla meets bla bla at Lenox Mall, without indicating where it is. As if we are talking about a landmark that is a house hold name in Nigeria. |

The truth is that I am usually a peaceful man in peaceful times. But provocative situations call for drastic actions.
If Imolites and Igbo people by extension allow this nonsense to stand, then we are sowing a seed that would blossom into a monster. The whole world knows that the APC cannot win even a councillorship election anywhere in the South East. Now that the APC has shown Nigerians the true meaning of "change", I doubt that the party and its dullard figurehead can win free and fair elections anywhere in Nigeria. Let alone the South East!
If you allow the useless maggot called Rochas and his APC bastards get away with this impunity, then anything you see tomorrow, take it in good faith. |

Marotzke: i suppose the widow and former police commisioner cannot by any stretch of imagination be labelled associates? You see the problem with alcohol? Even when something is very obvious ,they remain hidden to the alcoholic. From your sense of outrage at the phrase Ezego and associates ,it can be deduced that you are limiting Ezego and associates to Ezego and co armed robbers, fraudsters and traffickers? Sorry i was not limiting myself to your group. My apologies for the mistaken wrongful accusation. You and your group did not kill the lawyer of your boss. Oga go and sleep; it is often the antidote for extreme drunkenness. If your inebriation continues after a prolonged sleep, then you and your "associates" possibly require psychiatric attention. |

BellaElla: Oga morning o. In my opinion I believe you are too involved in their marriage. Firstly it is only an irresponsible wife that visits neighbours everyday without reason. You and ur wife shouldn't have let it get that frequent. Its not a behaviour to encouraged and breeds over familiarity and disrespect. Another thing is when she started complaining about her marriage to u people, you should have known the kind of woman she was. That woman can set u up, she can cause issues between u and ur wife . She is not a wise person to associate with. However its not late to disassociate urself. Distance urself from their issues. Stop calling the woman. E no concern u. Let the man and his family sort it out. It would surprise u that when they are talking about their wahala or name would be mentioned. Over familiarity between neighbours dey always bring insult. Thank you very much. Someone like me, I prefer to be an introvert in my compound/street and a social jaiye jaiye master outside. I've always been like that and would always be like that. Nothing disgusts me more than over familiarity where I live, and I have drummed it onto all my past and present girlfriends /prospective wife that I absolutely would not tolerate being unnecessarily close to my neighbours or whatever. Hi hi good morning good evening is enough. God forbid say my wife go jump enter neighbour house dey discuss our issues, or that one neighbour would spend his time wondering why I am not doing lovey lovey with my wife. What the hell. My reaction would be very nasty indeed. People need to learn how to mind their fucking business all the time. |

Marotzke: maybe you read the article with a bottle of kai kai in your hand. Otherwise you would have read that Barnabas igwe was Ezego's lawyer and executioner of his will. I suppose any associate that felt short changed or dis inherited will be clapping for Igwe. Again if the Okija angle is true, the shrines enforcers Will definitely not tolerate an inter loping lawyer standing on their way to seizing Ezego's properties. Which ever it is, they are Ezego's associates who are obviously ruthless. Just take it easy with OGOGORO. Understand what you've read before commenting. You mentioned that Ezego was ruthless - thus implying that his ruthlessness was connected to the Igwes murder. Maybe I need to refresh your alcohol-impaired memory. How does this your comment: Marotzke: I never knew of Ezego' s angle on the Barnabas Igwe and wife's murder. Interesting. Why didn't the former governor put this information on the public domain. Everyone in the know, are quite aware of how ruthless Ezego and associates can be. Not when billions are involved. Relate to this: The controversies in Ezego’s life did not subside even after his death. His lawyer and the person that was responsible for the execution of his will, Barnabas Igwe was murdered in cold blood, with his wife, Abigail on the 2nd of September, 2002, barely three years after Ezego’s demise. Ezego’s will was thus, never read, and the exact beneficiaries are not known (at least as at January 2006). The Inspector-General of Police, Sunday Ehindero, was called upon to investigate all leads (including Ezego’s widow and a former police commissioner) relating to the murder of the Igwes but like many murder cases in Nigeria, it led to nothing useful. Where in the report is it implied that Ezego and/or his associates are connected in any way to the fate that befell the Igwes? If anything, only his widow and an unnamed "former police commissioner" are mentioned. So what on earth are you ranting about, you drunkard? |

yomz1e: NIgerians are like Israelites, we prayed for a saviour to rescue us from GEJ, and God gave us APC. As soon as we got to the Red Sea and wilderness , We started blaming God for rescuing us away from GEJ regime. GOds ways are not human ways , we prayed for a change and God dind't promise the Israelites it was going to be an easy journey, lives were lost, sickness, diseases, hunger and all sorts. But eventually they reached the promise land. I am not saying PMB is our Moses, maybe our Joshua will come from this regime. So stop all these PMB vs GEJ nonsense and recognised that God is in control, soon it will all make sense You're talking absolute rubbish, and it's a pity that you are using the name of the Lord in vain. God can never be in control of the gloom and misery that Nigerians are facing now under a demonic ruler. Your analogy implies that you are comparing Buhari to Moses. Is it not clear to you that Buhari is more like Nebuchadnezzar? |

Rossikk: Stop talking rubbish. Lagos was a hellhole filled with trash on the streets, heaps of refuse, heavy traffic with Molues and danfos, with armed robbers everywhere, including child kidnappers (gbomo gbomo), who used kids for money rituals. Places like Oshodi, Mushin, Shomolu etc, where virtual no-go areas for most decent people. Totally rowdy, filthy and disorganized. Today those places look very different. Today you have BRT. You have this, you have that. Please stop romanticising the past. You probably couldn't live in it. You're always angry, and full of bile and negative energy, why? All that negative energy feeds cancer, according to Rick Ross, so better take it easy. I'll agree with you only if we are talking about the mid 1980s to the mad 1990s especially. From all accounts, the 1960s and 1970s were halcyon years. |

Payoneer bank account is not a U.S bank account. It's only a virtual account for a PS (Payment Service) which only accepts credit from U.S Corporate accounts via ACH with a certain encoding. I.e if the company is not a payoneer partner, they cannot pay to your payoneer via bank. I need more info on this please, as I ordered a Payoneer card which will be delivered soon. Does it mean that regular individual clients in the US, for example, cannot directly transfer money from their bank accounts or credit cards into my Payoneer account? |

The woman CLIMAXED for two hours.
The actual sex might have lasted no more than 10 minutes. The news here is that the woman (who obviously has some kind of disorder) climaxed continuously for an extraordinary 2 hours. I'm sure competent gynaecologists would have an explanation for that. |

From what I can see here, I hope it's not an illusion to hope on winning millions especially online, is this so? It's scary since online staking doesn't have paper evidence you can take to court unlike the guys who bet in shops and obtain paper slips. Perhaps these crooked bookies may block one's account if they see that you have won a major amount... I'm not taking about mere thousands of Naira.
Experienced bettors, abeg, if I stake, say N500 online on either Nairabet or Bet9ja and eventually win N15m on a long accumulator, will these companies pay me or will they tell stories and block my account? I need to know this ASAP. |
