Kenai:May God bless you abundantly and add to your reservoir of knowledge and wisdom. Spot on. |
I've been experiencing this same annoying problem for over two months now. Haven't been able to download new apps or update existing ones. I have force-stopped the Google play app, cleared cache and data, and tried everything else advised, still no solution. Very annoying indeed. |
EmmaEzeali:Because you're probably an Osu of the lowest grade. Slave mentality till death. Anuohia. |
So I considered those who are dead and gone more fortunate than those who are still alive.... --- Ecclesiastes 4:2. |
How much is bet9ja's maximum win payout for online users? I heard Nairabet's own is a mere N1m. Answers please. |
We believe you sir. |
Kobicove:The word 'value' for most Nigerian girls is embedded in the mere biological fact of their femaleness. Their existence as females with two (more or less) breasts and a gaping hole down below represents value in itself and by itself. Consequently, they have a ridiculous sense of entitlement which, unfortunately, some foolish men help them reinforce. |
Buhari's evil "change" has induced mass insanity and hallucinations across the land. When reality is unbearable, famished subjects of the wicked King turn to their imagination for solace. |
Nairasurplus:If the moderators know their jobs - and in the interest of young people following this thread - you should be banned for your spirited efforts to misinform and miseducate gullible Nairalanders. The standard of education in Nigeria is bad enough. I would not deign to continue this silly debate with you. |
illuminated93:Forget the politicians who we all know are incorrigible kleptomaniacs. Look at the everyday so-called 'gainfully employed' workers and business owners who live beyond what their salaries/emoluments and lawful income allow for. If they are not inflating invoices, they are manipulating the account books, engaging in underhand procurement frauds, doctoring their organisation' s payroll, short-changing customers, embezzling funds through deft manoeuvres, and engaging in all kinds of schemes with the grand intent of illicitly enriching themselves. Yet these hypocrites would be quick to denigrate Yahoo Boys and purport to be exemplars of legitimate success and 'hard work'. It is provocative. A lot is wrong with this country, and I insist that this makes it ridiculous to focus too much on moral arguments. Like I mentioned earlier, trade-offs must be made, and we must look at opportunity costs and decide which alternatives can be forgone in the interest of the greater majority and for the peace and orderliness of the society. |
Nairasurplus:Don't bask in your stubborn ignorance, young lady. Did you bother to consult your dictionary for guidance before embarking on this ill-fated attempt to 'educate' me? The singular form of tears (as a noun) is tear. Tears is only the third person singular when the word TEAR is used as a verb. I know you're probably confused.... I can't accept responsibility for that. You should shed a tear or two for your monumental ignorance, if you have even an iota of shame. |
It has been a "viable option" for a long time - for the last 10 to 12 years or thereabouts. It is easy for moralists and hypocrites to parrot the stale and uninspiring sermon of steadfastness and the need to avoid crime because it supposedly does not pay. But whenever I consider the indisputable opportunity cost of Yahoo Yahoo (such as armed robbery, exponential cultism, widespread violent criminality, and other infinitely damaging expressions of frustration among the teeming unemployed and hopeless youth population), I whisper subdued appreciation for small mercies. Nigeria would have probably been the most vioent crime infested country in the world, and the rate of armed robbery, kidnapping and gang activity we are witnessing today would have been child's play if not for this much maligned Yahoo Yahoo 'industry'. This is not a moral debate about right and wrong; after all, let's not deceive ourselves, most people working in the private and public sectors in Nigeria are closet thieves and crooks who perpetrate all manners of illicit schemes and deals in their workplaces/businesses to amplify their income. In the end, every society makes trade-offs, negotiates between greater and lesser evils, and ultimately reaches difficult compromises in the public interest. |
Bad grammar shouldn't be advertised on the front page, mods. The topic should read "when tears bring yes". |
You never appreciate what you have until you lose it. Story of our lives. We allowed this avuncular, compassionate and highly democratic leader with a heart full of compassion and a team full of purpose to be stampeded out of power. Now, with benefit of hindsight, we can all see the colossal foolishness of our indiscretion. When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when the wicked man rules, the people suffer - Proverbs 29:2. |
Obiwannn:I'm not sure though, but their head office is in the UK. Perhaps they process remittances from other countries. You'd have to confirm from their website. |
There is abundance and wealth in this world. One can only pray, work, and hope to tap from it - by being at the right place and doing the right thing at the right time. |
The bet9ja and nairabet hopefuls would enjoy this thread. |
ayusco85:Over sabi, testimony is also applicable in this context. Testimony etymology ▼ shownoun (plural testimonies) 1. (legal) statements made by awitness in court. 2. An account of first-hand experience. 3.In a church service..a personal account, such as of one'sconversion.Witness; evidence; proof of some fact. |
KingPoult:Especially the females. 98.2% of them don't know their left from their right, and never have a clue about any serious difficulty or customer inquiry other than the generic ones. Anything you complain about, their standard answer is to tell you to "switch off your phone and remove the battery and restart". Duh. Useless set of things who probably got the jobs by sleeping with one "oga" or the other. Later they would come and form 'working class' or independent lady for their mugus. Arrant nonsense. I hate to sound chauvinistic or misogynistic, but then...The truth is the truth. |
Yieldings:Better than ever, I must say. Just like fine wine. |
ijeolah:Yeah, and you would soon be as "dead" as their careers. You are a year older, so you're getting closer and closer to the 'D' day. |
obailala:Thanks a million bro. |
obailala:Interesting bro. But do you know whether Rhemito is also affected? I don't care if this policy is mainly driven by dollar concerns as I have no business in/with the US. My concern is entirely with the inflow of pounds converted to Naira from the UK... And this Rhemito seems to be UK based, just the way I like it. If Rhemito and Azimo are also affected, do you think this is going to be a very temporary thing? I need clarification o, make man no die. |
This policy can potentially remove food from my mouth and knock me out. God forbid. To hell with World Remit and their very low rates. My main concern is my beloved Azimo.com. If Azimo is also affected, then this is truly below the belt from Buhari's government. Extremely saddening development. |
MetaHuman:You wey be NAZI, what have you achieved and what footprint would you leave on your immediate community (let alone the world) when you die with your yaw yaw? Apart from your fellow lousy 'members' that would come and sing, dance and drink cheap alcohol at your funeral? See his mouth like the dude is so "jew". Black brain. |
BoosBae:Oyinbo has never been and would never be our mates. In every thing - technological progress, development, way of life, philosophy of life, vision, etc etc etc. It's unfortunate but true. |
Sweetlemon:Look at this dirty thing. Afterwards, you would claim "educated", or 'enlightened'. Why the hell do you have an education and a job? You useless girls would sleep with filthy married and old ogas to get jobs that more competent and qualified males should ordinarily get. After getting the jobs, you would look down on unemployed males. Yet you useless things would come here to talk rubbish about gender equality. Is that how it works overseas where the concept of gender equality has valid basis? Nonsense. |
Oh boy. Ali Baba on a hyper level. |
Lord save us from lousy bitches. |
sesaan:Transcorp is the wrongest place o. Most people prancing all over Piano bar, the poolside, or the club on Fridays and Saturdays are fakers, pretenders and hustlers that came to find the same thing as you. You go hardly see any real bona-fide rich kid for there. Even polo club and such, na the same thing. All na wash. I fetch Transcorp like water several times, so I know what I'm talking about. |
Olamide looks so happy. Must have been bountifully remunerated... Plus the opportunity for new super rich abokki connections. Meanwhile I don't get to see these kinds of 'real deal' rich kids in Abuja o. Where them dey hide biko nu? Only empty, broke ass pretenders, social climbers and hustlers everywhere. |
Let's put it in very clear terms. If faced with the choice between Buhari and Atiku in 2019, who would you prefer and why? With the way things are going, most people (including my humble self) would vote Atiku a thousand times. He is clearly not bigoted, more of a leader and more prepared and equipped for the task of presiding over a complicated country like Nigeria than the close-minded and daft Buhari can ever be. |
