but even before this atmosphere of election, have their safety been guaranteed in this present Obi administration? Look even one shud follow their heart. We are talking about our future. Ppl shud decide their future with their votes not out of sentiment.

CrimeRe: Man Arrested For Killing A Nigerian In India by highmood(m): 11:28pm On Nov 07, 2013
What they said before was the people that killed the young man was some indian drug traffickers,,now they are saying some Nigerians dealing on drugs. Even if it was true, why not get the guys and jail them rather than beating or killing them brutally. They just want to paint Nigeria darker in the eyes of the world while covering their shameful and barbaric act of racism and hatred. Wicked flats a**ss Indians. Bastards.

Guy talk well. What do u mean by day. No matter what they might have done, it doesn't deserve public humiliation as though he his a convicted criminal. The Indians u talking abt, are they best in character? Who are those that collaborate to import fake drugs in the country, are they not d Indians? Who are those that does illegal biz in our country are they not Indians? Who are those that pays our workers poorly in their company, are they not d Indians? Yet have we touched any of their people? Look its annoying. We only pray the guy is alive else I know some guys in Nigeria we react to this. The humiliation is just much. Me think of Indian? I rather go to my village.

What d Indians did was just sheer foolishness and an act of wickedness and and display of hatred of Nigerians. Indians of all countries! Government please depot them in there thousands till we are of equal number in terms of immigrants. A decisive measure must be taken by the government so they will know how much we value our citizens irrespective of our tribal differences. Else most stupid countries would want to build their madness on our quietness. Its so painful. Indian. Chineke ekwela ihe ojo(God forbids bad things)

Ameachi and the G7 governors are just playing tricks with these ones. They know the will lose shamefully come 2015 if they defect to any other party that is why the are still "hanging around" and seeking for a peaceful resolution of their internal crises. U would have seen the regrettable looks on his face at dames mums burial. I know Okorocha and even Ngige are also playing tricks with them. They won't remain in that party nor give them their support come 2015 presidential election. They men only change the name of the party not their minds.

EducationRe: President Jonathan Commissions 64 Almajiri Model Schools Today by highmood(m): 11:24pm On Nov 04, 2013
I must really say that Jonathan have been fair enough to the north irrespective of the fact that the country had past leaders from that region who had failed to build schools of such nature for their own people rather impoverishing the whole nation. I served in a community in Ogbia local government area where the president came from and I must say Jonathan needs to look at those in the riverine areas in terms of primary and secondary schools. The schools are old and of poor quality with less teaching and learning materials in them. He should also understand that just like the nomad, there are some children who follow their parents to fishing port and find it difficult to go to school during school hours. For me, he should also build model schools for his people as well as improve other schools in the country. What is good for the goose is good for the gender.

EducationRe: Nigeria Police Clampdown On ASUU Rallies by highmood(m): 2:30pm On Nov 03, 2013
There are two sides to this story. The ASSU wants us to believe their purpose for the strike while the government wants us to understand they are aiming at improving our education system but without crippling other sectors of the economy. Which one do they want the masses to believe. They should all come in front of the media and state their misunderstanding and let the people listen from both side and probably be the judge. All this indoor meetings will not bring out any truth. And neither the government nor ASSU story will be sold to the public.

Go back to school you are definitely a primary school drop out. Go back to your rural state of oshun..

Nobody is voting your useless Islamic yorobar party APC. It is only you yorobars that wants Ngige. Why is that?

Anambra is going places with good governance and development. Anambra is developing all sectors at the same pcae and that is called genuine development. Go ask MDG they will tell you that Anambra is ranking number ONE.

Obi has achieved so much without borrowing a dime, isn't it magic?
Mr. U just made mentioned of MDG, what are the 8 goals without consulting google cos I know Obaino have taught clueless elements like you to spy through quickly. You said Anambra are going places, is it with the present graduates of Uli or even Unizik(sorry for some naturally brilliant one) that can't challenge grads from other schs. Make mention of projects been sited in Other part of Anambra if u are residents there apart from the window dressed project quickly given to u for the cause of the election for people like you to have an heart attack.U funny, get a life dude.

Any more comments from silly APGA supporters? Mind you today is Saturday, let me take Ma cherir and my beautiful baby girl on a ride around the the island especially the beautiful admiralty plaza especially for shopping,or an eatery. I wonder were my brothers in Onitsha who are supporting Obi would go this afternoon, maybe for a beer in a pup. The day Anambra will have infrastructures of such nature in the administration of stooges, then we will know they really have the interest of their people without sentiments at heart.
PoliticsRe: An Open Letter To Anambra Voters. by highmood(m): 2:06pm On Nov 02, 2013
Chino72: This is why your second name should be clown!

Go and read up the concept of development, before you come here to expose your ignorance. Development does not start and end with few roads only in the state capital. Btw, have you been to Headbridge recent? have you been to Upper Iweka recently? Have you been to Nkpor flyover recently? Go and feed your eyes first with the transformation that is taking place in Anambra particularly Onitsha and its environs.

if I may ask which hospital does anybody goes to Enugu state? Enugu has federal teaching university hospital so also Anambra has federal university teaching. Enugu state has state university teaching hospital so is Anambra also has state university teaching hospital.

Then apart from that there is Onitsha General hospital, there are uncountable others general hospital, missions hospital and health centers.

Recently the governor shared factory fitted ambulances to all the hospitals in the state both mission, private and public.
see this is the reason,I have also called you a masquerade because you have been clothed with ignorance. Mind you development is an all round growth in every sector and places of a state or an economy. Here u are making mention of nkpor, onitsha and its environs. What happened to other sectors and places in,Anambra. Go to rivers, Edo, Lagos, etc, u will never want you people to use private property because of what the government have put in,place and u are here, making mention of nkpor, onitsha. I want to ask u if this is Obi 1st or 2nd or 3rd year in office compared to other government first 2 yrs in,office that he hurriedly fixed few roads for people like u to start dance atilogwu dance in your homes in the name of development have paid us a brief visit? Masquerades of ignorance and poor, governance. Hahahaha never knew people of this nature still exist in Anambra. Mr. Go and do your biz properly.

Y didn't he look into the health sector as Dr Chimaroke did?
And when the so called "politiftians" failed to,put things right do you expect a med doc with a good skill to rot away in the med section why his ppl suffers?

PoliticsRe: An Open Letter To Anambra Voters. by highmood(m): 1:40pm On Nov 02, 2013
Chino72: That is why some of you are born clowns!

I think you need to start by educating yourself on the concept of development. Development does not start end with tarring and painting few roads in the state capital.

With the except of Akwaibom and to some extent lagos all the other states you mentioned are far below Anambra in all the development indices.

Anambra has a wide spread development in education, health, employment generation/attraction of FDIs, urban-rural development, agriculture. Anambra has been leading with the highest cut of mark in federal government Unity school in the past 5years. Anambra has been leading in WAEC/NECO and JAMB for more than 7years now. All these are as a result of Obi's investment in these sectors. Primary and secondary schools in Anambra are using computers to aid their studies.

Like as I said most Nigerians are gullible, once they see one or two roads, they became consumed. But this is a gov that is making sure that no sector of the state is left behind.
Masquarade please can u read what u have written and think deeply. I have ply through those states I have mentioned and can really see what is called growth to development strategies of the government in those state. For Anambra state figures can easily be stated without any proof. Have u seen schs been built by rivers state govt, have u seen Edo, have u seen delta, not to talk of Lagos. In terms of health, why are our people going to enugu and other states if the health sector has improved. What about security, why are people of Anambra sleeping so early as though there is a curfew been imposed yet you get to other states late in the night without fear of loosing your life or properties. These states are working with making much noise and before the expiration of thier tenures great impact would have been made on their people, but now Obi is leaving, he is simply afraid because he is sure posterity is already speaking against him and his dummy. Fool, stay make pant de wear you.
PoliticsRe: An Open Letter To Anambra Voters. by highmood(m): 1:29pm On Nov 02, 2013
Chino72: Why not start by showing the ones done in your rural state? The fact is that sanity, good roads has returned to Onitsha under Obi. You clowns just got interested because your evil party wants ti have a taste of our resources. I will keep saying it, it is easier for a Togolese to win in Anambra than the Islamic APC.
Hahahahaha masquerade in an ugly mask drumming up support for a stooge and clueless entity. For your information am not from Ngige's area, I am from Aguata. Normally I ought to be neutral or give a support to ezenwo who is from umuchu and more honest than your clueless candidate and his mentor. But I deem it fit to drum up support for a man who risked his sit because he was tired of the unruly behaviors of wicked politicians like Obi that have come to milk Anambra dry leaving the average man impoverished and siphoning our money to invest in his beer factory and bank in the name of 'our party'. Sit and wise up bro, a road in ur home town doesn't signify good governance. Others are working Obi is stealing and blinded and brainwashed fools are supporting.
PoliticsRe: An Open Letter To Anambra Voters. by highmood(m): 1:05pm On Nov 02, 2013
Some fools on NL classified APC to be an Islamic Party. Fine. What have the indigenous party done for you for more about 8yrs. Why do they long to travel to other states where the environment is more better. I have a friend in kastina who prefered to stay there rather than coming home because of the poor governance of the present administration. Even if Ngige is in a Muslim party or what they classified it to be, then why not drum up support for another candidate like Ubah or Ezenwo if not covered with sentiments. As much as I know Catholics, they can't be influenced by other religions talk of a Muslim. All what people wants to see is change and good governance. They are all Catholics, so the catholic church will distribute their votes for them, lets see if they will go to the protestants and Pentecostals they neglected for votes. These are the people that will really decide who wins except if the election is rigged.
PoliticsRe: An Open Letter To Anambra Voters. by highmood(m): 12:39pm On Nov 02, 2013
Chino72: Clown when last did you visit Onitsha?

Onitsha is a lot neater with good roads, organized with the city wearing a new look with flyovers, pedestrian bridges..

This is the present outlook of Onitsha, courtesy of Obi..
fool, sit and let them play on your psyche. they tarred a few kilometers of road because they want to win an election. Is this the break of dawn? Mere looking at the road its not of standard. Don't you travel around or are you the types that live in onitsha all ur life and believe this is the best of road.Hahahaha fool. Your face na laugh. Wake up, sit, brush teeth and take a trip to other states and be ashamed of where you are proud off.
PoliticsRe: An Open Letter To Anambra Voters. by highmood(m):
moodswing: You wrote all these to discredit a credible Obiano or to test your abject ignorance?.

FYI, Obiano happens to be the only candidate armed with facts and figures about Anambra economy and it's economic state.

Other candidates were just engaged in general rhetorics. None of them authoritatively answered any question with verifiable facts and figures. Is that the people you want to govern the state?. People without facts, data and stats about the state they intend to govern?. Give me a break.

It is not in speaking grammar or making bogus promises but articulating governance and stating achievable goals with the available resource at the disposal of the state.

I will build airport, I will build seaport, I will build railway, I will build kainji damn bla bla bla. PPP et all are all arrant nonsense.

Only Obiano streamlined his agenda with the current and expected economic capacity of the state. Which makes him a truly credible candidate. Ngige is a monumental failure both as governor and a senator. He's on riding on hype sustained by the APC media propaganda.

Go and vote your preferred candidate, only a liar will say that Peter Obi - Okwute Ndigbo (The rock of the Igbos) has not done well.

And his anointed candidate is also one of the credible few who can match or surpass his achievement.
Mr. I hope u don't say this to a military friend of mine who lost his mum in one of Obi's claimed renovated hospital. He thought a bill board which has an hospital decieving people that the project has been completed was true until he went with his mother whose sickness was at that point critical, unfortunately found the hospital was uncompleted and quack nurses working there, these nurses injected her mum who immediately gave up. So when supporting a candidate out of sentiment, mind you one day you may be a victim of your ignorance, wickedness and selfishness. And when it matters most, no one will come for your aid. Compare the development you are witnessing in other states such as Lagos,Akwa ibom, Cross river, Imo, Rivers, Enugu, Delta, Edo to that of Anambra, will you say Anambra is developing or retrogressing? Any one that sees evil and condones it, good things will elude him or her. Whatsoever your decision is, remember your children?
Am from Akwa Ibom, will i be allowed to vote on the 16th for my man Dr.Chris Nqiqe?
you know the truth. Its people from other states like yours that have really judged Obi right. This is because most of you ply onitsha to your state and do see the decays the state. So when some Anambarians say Obi is not working, its seems like they are lying. Please you are welcome if you want to vote so we can bring good governance to anambra state. So at least when u are traveling to ur place and couldn't make it that very day, you may decide to pass the night in the state with your eyes close and fresh air blowing all around you.

davidugotex: FELLOW ANAMBRARIANS
For how long should we continue to allow Mr Peter Obi put enmity between us in a bid to achieve his Selfish desires? In the last guber election, he employed religious politics- Catholics against Protestant. Now that it is obvious that that approach is becoming unpopular, he has introduced the bigotry of zoning. Must he always instigate Anambra people against one another in a bid to have his selfish way?

Is it not on record that Anambra North whom Peter Obi claims to be politically marginalized has produced the First and only President of Nigeria from the South-East zone in the person of Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe? Is it not also on record that since the return of democracy in 1999, the only Senate President Anambra State has produced is from the zone in the person of Rt Hon. Chuba Okadigbo? Have we also forgotten that the late Ukpabi Asika who was the governor of the whole Eastern States was also from Anambra North? My people I ask, how is a zone that has produced these notable leaders marginalized?

In terms of infrastructure, the biggest market in West Africa- Main Market Onitsha, is it not cited in Anambra North?
The Refinery that is being built in Anambra State by Orient Petroleum Ltd, please is it not cited in Anambra North? I ask again, how is Anambra North marginalized?
Anambra State airport which was previously proposed to be built in Oba was later zoned to Anambra North by the government of Peter Obi; how are they marginalized? Let somebody explain to me how a zone that has the largest market in West Africa, the only refinery in the State, and the proposed cargo airport marginalizedhuh

Many of us followed the just concluded debates organized for all the governorship aspirants in the State, both the one organized by Silverbird Television and the one by AIT. We saw how Peter Obi's stooge- Willie Obiano was clueless as to how he plans to govern Anambra State; we also saw how he was reading out everything from a note handed over to him by Peter Obi even when the moderator of the debate made it clear at the beginning that no candidate should speak from a prepared note. We have also heard Obiano dwell so much on enlisting the support of Donor Agencies, in fact, there is never a project he planned to embark on without the mention of Donor Agencies, again I ask, When has Anambra State become beggars that we can no longer generate resources to tackle our own problems? What if those "Father Christmas" agencies disappoint him, so his government will achieve nothing?

My people, let us together sweep away those who want to enthrone mediocrity and bigotry in our State, and vote for those who have the vision, the road map, the courage, and the charisma to give us good governance that we desire.

1MCN: It's not in my habit to sing around a topic here on NL, I just drop my candid opinion and let others have their own right to say. I refuted the other guy's assertion that the said scene of the accident was on the "bad" Elele-Isiokpo Road as reported by SR.

If you say a smooth road is not a good road then I wonder.

To also inform you, the road is properly marked and dualized with relevant road signs, wide shoulders and some parts fully lit--the lights have not been fully installed on the entire stretched. Am a project manager by profession and also an expert in HSE, so I claim to know a few thing about what a good road should be.

Note that the said road was one of Amaechi's first and best road projects. It's an economically very important federal road which Amaechi fixed in 2009-2011. And got reimbursed by FG in 2012. I said I use this road regularly and I want someone who also uses this road to come here with facts and tell me that what I say is not true. I make a challenge.
you are right. I have plied that road on my way to Aba, its very beautiful and of high standard.
