First, I hope we (including her) all know the difference between the BRIDE PRICE and MARRIAGE LIST. Two different things.

To the topic, BRIDE PRICE and marriage list is not about her, it is about the Umunna. The last time I checked, the BRIDE PRICE is not given to the bride, but to her father. The content of the list is also not given to her, but to the Umunna, Umuada and youths.

Even the bible says, give what belongs to Caesar to Caesar. A core Igbo man would be very restless if he doesn’t pay bride price, because he knows what is waiting for him in the front. Who even gave her drink to give him when BRIDE PRICE hasn’t been paid?

I do hope she had a unanimous agreement with her people on this. She won’t be the first woman to marry without her BRIDE PRICE being paid. However, they all pay it at some point, maybe when she dies.

I have seen women being treated badly and they said it is because they shamefully followed a man who didn't pay their BRIDE PRICE. I have also seen the ones treated badly and they still say it is because he BOUGHT them. Bride price where I come from is N10 and it is SYMBOLIC, not an EXTORTION, not SELLING THE LADY. The presence or absence if it is also not a guarantee he would treat you fairly. That one is dependent on the man and his ideologies.

He also fired all His Old Covenant Shepherds, declaring that He alone will Shepherd His own flock - Ezekiel 34 vs 9 - 16 & John 10 vs 7 - 16. God sent His Law , Jesus Christ to proclaim to you that in His Kingdom, He alone is ;

* (spiritual)Father
* Shepherd
* Rabbi/Leader/Authority
* Master/Head
*Teacher
* Helper
* Guide

And this over each and every one who belongs to Him. - Matthew 23 vs 6 - 10 & Matthew 20 vs 24 - 28. God openly declared it a sin, an abomination, for any man to occupy any of the above roles over anyone who belongs to Him. He even went as far as to state that those who belong to Him are those who obey His teachings and commandments, the Truth of God.

Jesus Christ outright tagged all those who will refuse to obey Him false teachers and false prophets, disavowing them every chance He got, warning His followers never to be decieved by such and their doctrines of evil - Matthew 15 vs 1 - 14

Yet, here you are telling me tales of how there was a time when these same false teachers and prophets that Jesus Christ condemned over 2000 years ago, the ones you call your Mogs , told you the Truth of God, and how they will eventually be no more because you read of it in a book of dreams? Are you kidding me?

He needs to be doing businesses that gives daily returns

He needs to work with the young and willing and get returns in a supervisory model


He needs to do a business that doesn't require excessive movement, doesn't deteriorate without capital funds, yet accrue interest

There are different businesses that fits the profile

1. Wholesale distributorship for bottle drinks, bottled water combined with whole sale egg sales as Ibadan is connected with many large poultry. The customers for one commodity will attract more customers to buy the other commodity. With 2 Million rentage of shop and stocking can begin with these two products





2. Having a mini convenience store. With around 500-850 for rentage depending on location and the rest for stocking, a neighborhood mini Mart can be setup conveniently with this amount.




3. Sales of nylon wholesale. Buying from factories and selling to retailers is an excellent business that even 500,000 Naira can coneniently setup. It also yields daily returns



4. Transportation. 2.5 Million can setup two to four buses or cars depending on quality and handed to three drivers while you expect daily or weekly returns depending on your arrangement.
