I have followed the discussion so far between IrepChrist and Dtruthspeaker and I have these to say: 1. Women are not evil, but created GOOD and as Help-Meet for Man; 2. Like every creature animate or inanimate, everything is capable of evil or good, including Man; 3. Satan is The EVIL one and always tries to infiltrate, adulterate and manipulate everything; 4. God permits Satan to operate (sometimes freely, where the creature is not hooked unto God directly) 5. Satan should be considered Quality Control System of God's creation, so he's doing his job perfectly and efficiantly; 6. I think the Customer is the negligent person here! The Nigerian Laws criminalizes carrying such a huge sum of money without Police Escort! Also, he shouldn't have left such a huge sum of money unattended - he could have told the Security to help him watch the vehicle for that particular reason, then the Bank would have been vicariously liable! Finally, he ought to thank the Bank or the Robbers for saving his life, since he was inadvertently setting himself up to be murdered! I wonder why he was using that method to pay people in this modern times, with the level of insecurity rampant in Kaduna. The Police should investigate the customer thoroughly in case he is involved in some shady deals requiring him to deal strictly in cash! I rise! |

I remember soooo many cases where the FG has come to the rescue of our Citizens challenged by foreign laws in foreign lands. There was a lady caught in possession of Drugs in Saudi. The FG helped her prove her innocence because her luggage was tampered with by a cartel in Nigeria. There were cases of Nigerians on death row in many far away countries that have benefited from Govt assistance, but hatred will not allow some people see anything right with an APC Govt assisting a PDP Senator who happens to be a reputable Nigerian who have served his fatherland meritoriously! An innocent man is by definition a person accused or unaccused but yet to be proven guilty in the relevant court of Law! |

I suspect a mix up in politics! The distinguished lawmaker must be aware of the rules involving minors, same for the medical personnel involved, since the organ transplant was meant for his sick daughter. Maybe there's a dispute as to the donor's age! You know some Nigerian children can look smaller than their real ages. I recall the case of one footballer, who claimed 18years or so, but after being run through a development program in Europe, all they could achieve was fattening instead of getting big, because he had gone beyond growing age! |

MY TAKE IS: Someone like this would have denied JOSEPH of Aramathia the privilege of being noted in the Bible for helping Christ bear His cross on the way to Golgotha. It's good to be humble, but there are limits. The Bible made it clear that in life, there will forever be the Hewers of Wood and the Fetchers of Water! Imagine if everyone chooses to polish their shoes by themselves! There will be serious unemployment for the downtrodden in the society! National economics is far above and beyond cutting costs and pruning down - it has more to do with matching costs and ensuring value for money! In my checkered career, I have observed that stingy people like Peter Obi always bring more misery than they solve! There is one that scattereth and another that withholdeth - the Bible lets us know who will be more prosperous! Our man Peter Obi appears to me like Uncle Scrooge of the famous treatise 'A Christmas Carol' Jesus did have and used errand boys in his time. The good book also lets us realise that until rapture, there will always be the poor amongst us! I bet Uncle Obi does not use any domestic staff, cooks his own food, mows his own garden, drives himself and also keep his own gates! |

From my personal experience, I advise your tread with caution and if you must, make good your escape! Do not exit rancorously! There are more things to consider in your choice other than remuneration. The accommodation provided by the new offer, is it really worth it, in terms of convenience? Some companies might provide accommodation merely as a trap to enslave your! Since the place you are at present offers discriminatory Salaries, even at the same levels, it is an advantage for you to bargain for increase, using the evidence of your new offer. it may not immediately result in an increment for you, but it will serve as a goodwill for the future. A company that sponsors even new recruits to Certification Training has good potentials for career development, especially if you at the early stages of your career. Also consider the status of the two companies as going-concerns (i mean sustainability) There's no point opting for the offer of 280k per month only to be owed Salaries or laid off eventually due to cashflow challenges. The difference between the two salaries can easily be equalized by daily commute costs or lunch expenses, so do additional due diligence! So many other aspects to consider, but in all, choose wisely. I want to approach this issue from another perspective: Has anyone considered why the Lady said the second Guy is not her type? Why would a man waste five years of a Lady's life and expect her to rely on him? What was he doing helping her for five years without helping himself with her - i mean marrying her or getting her pregnant? The Lady must have seen through him as a scavenger or scumbag, without ambition or clear objective in life, hence her decision to jump ship. The first guy who baby-mamaed her must have travelled out due to his ambition to make a success of his life as a priority! So, she see him as her type of man and the helper-man as an unambitious fellow! |

She should be grateful to God for this privilege! Not many people have the opportunity to predict when their departure flight is scheduled for. My advise to her is to make the best use of the interlude. Be at peace with your maker. Search the scriptures and historical archives for examples of people who have been in her situation for guidance. There was King Hezekiah was is such situation and God added extra 15years for him! I think Mr Rockefeller was also in similar situation. He was diagnosed at (I think 54), but went on to live till 95years or so! The situation helps you to be at your best. Nobody needs to set better record of longevity like Methuselah, who had no other record of any meaningful achievement other than living for almost a thousand years - no innovation, no achievement, nothing but longevity! |

Many of the comments here show the limited knowledge of the general Public about the duties, powers and privileges of a Police Officer, not to talk of that of an AIG! For the avoidance of doubt, he has full rights and the privilege to enter that estate without being invited! He only requires a warrant to make a search or arrest. At his level, he can even achieve either or both of these and arrange warrant cover in retrospect, if the act is (in his opinion) for public benefit. The guns they carry around serves both for defensive and offensive purposes! If I were in his shoes, I would be very tempted to make a scapegoat, moreso as I would be retiring within the month. He is just being gentle in order not to tarnish his records. Nigerians should be careful not to turn their Guard 'Dogs' into 'Bingoes' the way we confront The Police unnecessarily! How many people are aware that he could have left the place calmly and 'arranged' unknown Gunmen to raid the gate. Then the 'powerful' residents will now report to who? 8 Likes |

In any case, for the benefit of those who may not realize it, if the vehicle was bought for $550k, the naira value would be about 550k X 180% X 450 (or the applicable dollar exchange rate. I watched the video and my sincere opinion is that guyman Dele Momodu is over reaching himself. 1. KWAM-I is not his mate and it is beyond him to rebuke KWAM-I publicly. 2. Dele Momodu should be rebuked for the casual manner he greeted the Ooni. KWAM1 beat him in that regard. 3. Dele Momodu IS NOT YORUBA, despite that the IMAM Oluwo (or was it Sultan he called himself the other day?) has honoured him with a non-traditional title! 4. Apparently, KWAM-1 is more paddy with the Oluwo than Dele will ever phantom! Those who understand Yoruba and Street lingo will know and understand what KWAM-I was accusing the Oluwo of. 5. KWAM-I greeted the Oluwo in the appropriate language and poise while approaching the machine, even before approaching the Ooni 6. KWAM-I is himself a more authentic King and high chief within the Yoruba domain than the Oluwo! Kings don't prostrate for Kings in Yorubaland, no matter the hierarchy. It will shock most people that some ibile people have certain sets of words (incantations) that when uttered against any type of dog, it would simply fall down and die! It has been demonstrated in my presence to a random dog. When I inquired, the dude simply laughed and said i need to know the traditional name of dogs, to achieve that result, but the dude refused to teach me, saying it's not for everyone to know! He concluded that any wise dog that sees him or any of his siblings would dare not back! |
