If the Lamb could be bought with insurance rights, I bet everyone will change their opinion. Have you considered the possibility of buying it with the option to backdate the purchase to a date before the fire disaster? We have not been told if the Lamb just got burnt?

I will never opt to buy a Picanto for N6.5m. I've always preferred buying fairly used cars (1 - 3 years) after first purchase. Dear brethren, I state categorically, that if The Muslim Prophet claims to be the other comforter promised by Christ, then He is the Impostor or antichrist.

My logic is this - most Muslims belief that Jesus was saying the truth when He promised to send another comforter., but are also taught to wrongly believe Jesus was just another high prophet! Now there is no prophet in history, who has powers to send another prophet. What prophet means is messenger! if he was just a prophet, why would he have power to send another prophet? The definition of a Prophet is a messenger of God! Now if the Prophet Mohammad is the promised comforter, then how come it is difficult to believe Jesus, who sent him, is God?

Most Muslims believe Jesus is not the son of God - they think only in the physical, they think being a son means same as the physical birth process, which necessarily involves sex;

Most Muslims belief the reference to the Comforter as 'He' means he is a man! This is the grievous error! The reference to gender is actually means the mode of manifestation. God is masculine in nature, so is Jesus. The earth is feminine in nature so it is a she.
Let our Muslim brothers realize that what the Holy Spirit, the promised 'another Comforter' comforter does is to teach and reveal the otherwise unknown. He transcends the physical Plane to reveal things of the Spirit and thus renders a person super-natural! The Holy Spirit is not a physical teacher that prescribes how you should sleep, wake up, wash your hands or relate to your neighbour physically. All these rules and recommendations are already innate in mankind.

You do not need a Prophet to teach you how to marry or divorce or pray - Jesus already did that. But the Holy Spirit will reveal to you what to pray about among so many options. The Holy Spirit will help you to pray when you are physically to weak or overwhelmed by your situation. The Holy Spirit reveals the Secrets of the enemy to you and how best to counteract it.

What Jesus promised was another Comforter, who will empower a believer to DO GREATER THINGS than Jesus was able to accomplish while on earth.

The other day, I was discussing with a Muslim sister how Jesus was both Man and God while on earth. She could not understand this mystery. It was the same reason Satan was fooled into crucifying Him, thereby losing the grip of his power of sin and death!

If he had known the truth, he would not have allowed the crucifixion. Even Peter in his ambivalence almost fell into the same trap -he tried to fight his way out with a sword, but Jesus Christ saved him. Unfortunately Judas could not be saved. He expected Jesus to use His Godly powers to save Himself, thus making the fee he collected for betraying Jesus a dash! Alas he was caught up in the game as Jesus forewarned.

Instead of repenting and crying to Jesus for salvation, he tried to right the error by taking his own life, thereby making permanent his error!

My Muslim brothers, believe Jesus Christ the way the Bible originally records His journey on earth instead of questioning the authenticity of the book of John or who the comforter really is! The Comforter is not a Man (Prophet of Teacher)! He is the Holy Spirit, who came on the day of Pentecost and has never left mankind. He empower illiterates and semi-illiterates to become instant professors and linguists.

Is it not weird that with all our wickednesses we forgive when we do forgive without asking for human or animal sacrifice yet the loving father must scent his aroma of sacrifices before he can forgive. I do not fully understand the concept. My take is this:

Jesus Christ is that part of God that is Justice. Many people (especially of other religions) find it difficult to understand the concept that though their is only of true God Almighty, He can exist in more than one form and still be complete depending on the realm of existence!

God had to lower that part without breaking the code that holds the entire universe. God did not sacrifice His Son, rather, the Son (God) sacrificed Himself to Himself - meaning that He lowered the standard of Justice (eye for eye. blood for blood, etc) on the temporal plane, to create a backdoor for mankind to regain entrance into the spiritual Kingdom of God. The new condition is that to pay-back this debt (shortfall) those that will pass through that door must become Christlike (born-again Christians). This 'Christianinty' unfortunately is not as most people (Christians, Muslins, Budhist, etc) of today understand it. The spiritual Christian has no religious demarcation. Anyone who quilifies can enter through this spiritual gateway back into Eden (Spiritual Heaven) and eat the promised fruit of life eternal.

Sorry that this forum may not be proper to fully understand this concept, but you can liken it to a can that broke down and needs a new battery to jumpstart it. Thereafter the old battery of car must be restored to newness, if the breakdown is not to be repeated! This is the meaning of Resurrection - The shedding of the blood is to avail those in need of it to get a new life.

This Otobo saga reminds me of how they nailed Jesus Christ to the cross! Many are shouting crucify him! Crucify him!!Crucify him!!! The people with valid locus standi, to my mind are The Apostle's legal wife; the 'victim's' family and the Church whom the Apostle shepherds. None of these has made claims for loss or restitution. Rather they are disclaiming the victim.

How come the victim did not cry out until she was arrested for blackmail? How come at such a tender age she is already in a relationship with a renowned man of God and almost getting to become a second wife? What's her real mission and who empowered her to be so bold and daring at such a young age.

She claims the man is a ritualist, but she is alive and well and also bold enough to dare him. This suggests to me she must be more ritualistic or powerful. Then who really is this young woman?

I haven't confirmed who is instituting the suit but neither case bodes well for the apostle. If it's his lawyers dragging her to court on blackmail and sundry charges, then, as I said, it's not exactly the kind of charges you would expect if she wasn't actually telling the truth.

If it's the public prosecutor charging her to court however, it does leave one wondering why the pastor's lawyers are yet to sue for libel/defamation of character after so long. Ms. Otobo is still granting interviews left, right and center, each interview coming with more damaging accusations and, if the apostle is indeed sure she's lying, then a libel suit at the very least should have been filed......unless she's not lying.

Libel and/or defamation of character are mostly torts (civil offenses), which mostly results in awards of compensation and possibly an order to retract the libelous objects.

It would be an exercise in futility for a person of the apostle's status to sue a very 'low level' person for such compensation which will hardly materialize. The better cause is to establish a crime for which such a person will do time!

In any case, it would be highly risky for the man of God to pursue the course of libel where it may be possible he may have had untoward dealing with the lady in question or any other extra-marital affair whatsoever! Even if this was not so, a trial for libel will afford the lady an opportunity to dig up more dirt and focus public scrutiny of the gentleman, which is bad for his image or those of his associates.

Whenever one is challenged to a fight by a pig, the reasonable man should take a decoy! You have nothing to prove by falling the pig on its back!

What is at stake is whether there was blackmail or not. The burden of proof is on Apostle Suleiman. It looks like the behaviour and media campaign so far unleashed on the Apostle will make it easier for his lawyers to demonstrate malicious intent by the young lady.

The mistake many are making is that this case has to do with the innocence or otherwise of the gentleMANOFGOD. He does not have to proof his innocence at all. Blackmail is a crime on its own. It usually rest on some secret information between the two parties. Your reference to some members of the cabinet did not put this in perspective. I believe some of them would not have made the team if not for necessary compromises predating Buhari's accendancy. I think we all require some education on what leadership entails.

The task of the leader is to provide a clear vision, assemble the right team to actualize the vision and motivate them to achieve.

Other responsibilities include protecting his team from the consequences of following his directions, spelling out the desirable characteristics required to excel, measuring and managing performance, rewarding excellence and accepting responsibilities for failures.

One of the greatest problems with leadership in Nigeria is the tradition of leaders always taking credit for successes by team members and looking for scapegoats for failures! How come virtually all the lieutenants of President Jonathan are facing one charge of corruption or the other but the head of the regime is yet to be indicted? Neither has he come out with any public statement in their defense!

The ability of a leader to allow his subordinates to shine is a rare quality of an uncommon leader. I do not believe it is mere coincidence that Buhari allows his lieutenants to shine - it is a quality of exceptional leadership.

The two cases are both in court and being prosecuted. My argument is about who the Govt is facing -in both cases the Builders!.

In America of recent, the new President Trump gave an executive order for people to be deported and stopped from gaining entrance into the States. An 'unknown' judge somewhere tramped his foot on the order and that was it! That's how systems should work. The Law had it's way!
So why should we hold a governor responsible for what the system could not resolve.

Most of the current 'villians' to me are merely victims of systemic corruption. Failure on his part to follow this track would be termed disloyal and against the collective decision of the party. So the problem is the democratic system that allows moneybagism!

A homicide case is a criminal case where the suspect is the one directly involved. If he was contracted specifically for the act, then his principal would be held responsible as well.

The difference between the two cases is that one was a Pastor who contracted a builder who messed up. The other was a Builder/ Contractor who messed up. The best the Government can achieve is professional negligence or manslaughter - neither case carries the death penalty.

I hold no brief for MoG Joshua, but I think we should mourn with him, rather than call for his head.

In the second case, Government should seek to identify the factors that contributed to the collapse and deaths as a means to forestalling future incidences rather than aim to find cause to kill the owner. Nobody builds his property with intent to kill random people!

We should realise the real culprits for these crimes may actually be far removed from these enquiries and prosecutions and free enough to contribute to another tragedy!

If you fear losing your job, consider there are more than 20 million jobless Nigerians, all alive thou suffering some inconveniences, but the GOd of Nigeria and the Creator of that Company is counting on you.

Dear Poster, Wake up and believe! I know of a Company that rented office space in that Island at N25 Billion naira for a 5-Year tenor! You also must have heard of a popular blogger that bought a flat in that area for about half a billion. So why is it difficult to believe a mansion can cost 20billion? Each flat in that property is rented at USD150K per annum, so do the maths!

I use this medium to sympathise with those who joined the match in the recent protest. Your effort, though necessary in view of current situation of things was misdirected. Oga Charlie just realised this after the debacle. The real villians are we Nigerian masses who are so docile to acquiesce to nonsense. We are now grumbling against the sanitary cleaners while ignoring those who defecated in our property.

Although I agree that these our hired sanitary workers are not making the best efforts, but at least they are trying! The wind is very strong so it is difficult to prevent the oozing stench from pervading our atmosphere until the job is done.

On our part, we need to keep eternal vigilance - how the locals living close to where $9.8 million was stashed could not discover and loot it, but instead were busy blaming the Government of the day beats me. Families today lack clear cut line of command with women demanding for equality with the men in marriages, whereas their can be not peace or good progress in any craft (aircraft, seacraft, withcraft, etc) where the line of authority is unclear!

Also, most humans are becoming more and more individualistic and self-centric, therefore limiting capacity to achieve the kind of unity that threatened the Heavens as in The Towel of Babel case study (The Biblical Book of Genesis Chap11 Vs 1-9)

The future of family life is predicted in the Biblical Book of Isaiah Chap4 V1 -that as things progress along this trajectory, seven women to one man shall be the norm and it will be a thing of shame for any unattached woman!

I thank the OP for this provocative subject. In my personal interactions with a muslim sister, my mind has been opened wider to some deep truths. Although I haven't gotten around to confronting her with the truth (I'm hoping she would be hit with the realities just the same way our exchanges have helped me).

A few things have become clear:
1. most serious muslims seem to know more about the letters of the Bible than the average christian;
2. the average muslim takes religion more seriously than the average christian (hence hard - like the Judaist of the old testament)
3. the Quor'an seem to be an imitation of the literal content of the Old testament
4. no Muslim dares deny the spiritual authority of Jesus - the worst they can go is deny his Godship.

In order to reconcile the genuine muslims to the truth about Christ, I want to make clear some of the confusion they have about Jesus Christ:

The name Jesus, is the name of man, hence the muslims are some what correct to say he is not God. He was just a human image or reflection of God, like you and I. His level of human capacity qualify him as a Prophet as the muslims claim. But as a human, he was much more that a Prophet (He was also a Doctor, Teacher/Rabbi, Pastor/Shepherd, Priest, etc)

Jesus came to earth to live with us humans to diagnose our human malady. He came as Christ (Saviour). His mandate was captured in the Book of
Luke Chapter 4, verse 18&19[b] …18 “The Spirit of the Lord is on Me, because He has anointed Me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent Me to proclaim deliverance to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to release the oppressed, 19to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.” 20Then He rolled up the scroll, returned it to the attendant, and sat down. The eyes of everyone in the synagogue were fixed on Him,… [/b] THis is comparable to the scripture in Isaiah Chapter 61 verse 1 -3.

The easiest way to explain the duality/duplicity of the personality of Jesus Christ to anyone who has not studied the Bible or read through from start to finish is to consider that he was a normal man just like you and I, on earth. But before this, he emerged from God, directly, pure without sin. This was why we had to merge with humanity by coming through the womb. Then he obtained the power of God (His Spirit of Holiness) through Baptism. What this does is to give any man who obtain the same gift to have the ability to be exactly as God.

After completing His mission on earth, He returned to be with his father (by the spirit). Then the man called Jesus, had His name elevated among men in His confirmation as Christ the Saviour, due to His obedience and submission to the will of God. This is why He warned that there is no other name by which men shall be saved. He is the only one who up to date has warned that He is the Way, the Truth and the Life.

Muslims have been misled to think God has no son. Even ordinary me, I am a Son of God and joint heir with Jesus. All true believers are sons of God and gods unto ordinary men! God made Moses/Musa to become a God to the then almighty Pharaoh.

In my opinion, most serious muslims should score higher in the religion realm, but are limited in capacity due to the absence of the Holy Spirit. They operate by the letters of the Law (which kills/limits) rather than the spirit of the Law (which liberates and render unlimited)

Also in my opinion, most christians DO ABUSE the liberty that they have in Christ, thereby denying the power of the Holy Spirit to make them unlimited. This is the crux of the matter and the confusion we have between these two principal religion in Nigeria today.

It is virtually impossible to explain these issues in full within the limits of this forum, so I will understand anyone who may be confused. But I pray for all who would be saved that The Almighty God, creator of Heavens and the Earth, most benevolent and merciful, will reveal His truth to all who are worthy of His Salvation.

I believe the issue with this year's JAMB CBT is basically software or Server Malfunction. It's highly probable the new scoring algorithm malfunctioned or was sabotaged by an Insider or Hackers.

Re-marking the test would not help as some of the records would have been compromised.

Recommended Solutions:
OPTION 1: JAMB should reschedule the exams and spread the timetable out over two weeks to ensure completion by Mid-April. This is after a thorough investigation analysis would have pin-pointed the issue. Else, revert to the 2015 software until the problem with the new software is identified and sorted;

OPTION 2: Universities should invite all their prospective applicants who applied with them write a well-monitored post-UTME and give the results up to 70% weight in the aggregate score, or completely ignore the UTME Scores for this season.

OPTION 3: JAMB should allow candidates enjoy the better score of their last three UTMEs, or the average as their effective JAMB Score for admission purposes. I also recommend JAMB should commence making the exams available twice yearly and increase to thrice or four times over the next three years. The will make the exam reduce from a do-or-die event. The candidate should be entitled to use her/his average of the last three exams as the effective JAMB Score for cut-off considerations.

I sincerely believe these measures will add value to the lofty objectives of JAMB CBT and reduce the impact of errors, luck, gambling and other deficiencies of multiple choice exams as a true test of knowledge.
