Though I agree with some of the things you said here but I would say If God approves of this campaign then let it prosper but if not, then let it not prosper.

Young people can easily abuse something so when you are telling them to take back their brain(whatever that means), be sure that a good number of them will take back their brain and give it to the devil consciously or uncconsciously. For you as an adult it might be easier for you to control your brain from tilting totally to the devil's corner but you can't say the same for these young ones.

You still need to think deep about this your campaign so as not to create something that will have grave consequences in the lives of these young ones in future. Don't be surprise if this campaign degenerates to what you ll regret about in future. Prof Wole Soyinka establisblished cultism in the university in his time with good intention but today you and I knows what this has degenerated into so pls be careful. Think and think again bro.

Every Sunday we troop down to our places of worship to hear words of encouragement and promises of hope from our icons in the pulpit and despite the evidence to the contrary we cling to hope while everything falls apart all around us.

I think I have figured out why.

God is not moved by prayer ! Well prayer that is not said aright.

Yes God is not moved by the prayers of those who have chosen to live , think and act unrighteously. We call ourselves Christians and go to 'church', yet we collect bribes, commit adultery , shed innocent blood, align ourselves with false doctrines especially those that exploit the orphan, widow and poor ( you know what I mean ) , we malign our leaders and curse our neighbours, we persecute the weak and exploit the vulnerable and we think that all our prayers and tears ( crocodile tears if I may qualify ) will appease God.

Many Christian bosses do not pay their workers, many are involved in mago mago in their businesses , many believers will do anything to make two ends meet even if it means hurting their conscience in the process, yet we troop to 'church' to ask God for favours.

Hahaha, you think you can fool God with your white robes, black suits. Long dresses , big bibles ,long prayers , singing , tithes and offering etc.

We know that God does not listen to sinners. He listens to the godly person who does his will.

Whoever shuts their ears to the cry of the poor will also cry out and not be answered.

These are just a tip of the iceberg concerning how God deals with people and nations. God cannot be bribed with your tithes and offerings which of course we know does not go to him but to fraudulent charlatans, in fact the mere thought that you pay to get back 100 fold in return while not caring for the poor neighbour down the street or your wretched relatives is in itself a sin.

Here we see very clearly that unless Nigerian Christians repent of their hypocrisies , stop man worship and start acting righteously, nothing will change. But if we repent and start acting righteously God will hear our prayers even before we utter them from our lips.

Let us deceive not ourselves that because we are covered by grace we can sin rampantly and expect that God will cover us with the blood of his Son and turn a blind eye to our pagan practices, infidelity and wickedness. Sorry, but God is not a Nigerian, he cannot be bribed or corrupted , and God does not believe in sinning grace, oh yes, the grace that encourages sin with the excuse that Jesus has covered it all for you, yeah right !

Time to change and change must begin in our personal lives , we must start to imbibe values of integrity, honesty, hardwork and righteousness.

But if you continue supporting evil men in the pulpit, enemies of the cross whose God is their bellies, if you continue in your wicked business malpractices and office cheating, if you continue to be a stereotype Christian who is arrogant, judgemental and condescending in attitude, you are OYO, which is to say you are on your own. If you like pray for eternity, be rest assured that nothing will change, never, unless you and all of us change.

I ve read further on the site and the man made a lot of sense. He was just explaining what is written in the bible rather than the series of denial and blame game we ve seen here.

He hasn't blamed any translation so far, He hasn't said that man has no soul rather he explained what(in his believe) Jesus meant by "destroying both the body and the soul".

He hasn't said anybody smuggled anything into the bible. He is not even running helter skelter over the scriptures digging up quotations anyhow(whether it fits in or not) just to support his no-hell/eternal torment teaching.

He hasn't abused any pastor or church leaders for whatever reason.

I think this is the first time I'm seeing a sincere explanation free of manipulations, denials and abuses on this issue.

Though I do not agree totally with him, yet his approach has soft pedal me. By the grace of God I'm not going to hell fire. If the people going there are totally annhilliated, good for them and I prefer they are. If they are not then that's for them too.

I know that atheists are good at pointing to the flaws and anomalies of life as a bait. But this only scores them high when debating with religious people whose beliefs support an omni omni god. I don't have a reason as to why there are anomalies and natural disasters, but we wilk agree that there are more pros than cons as to the benefits of these natural laws.
the day I started examining morality.The firsg thing I told myself is that its basically because this world is much more than the physical realm thats why we are talking about morality. There is the abstract nature. Morality, ethics, feelings are part of it. This is what creates a comnection between you. and a fellow human being. There is a connection with our environment and surroundings. If I should accept that it was simply nature's randomness or natural selection that brought about the physical existence, then it must be a very smart one to include this abstrac aspect.
When you dream, have you ever wondered what hands or legs you used there, how you ate? how you feel surroundings and all. You are doing all these things and its definitely not physical.
I ve also heard and seen cases of spiritual interference. Tho I am yet to verify, I am keeping fingers crossed about them.
With all these, it is very safe to conclude that something more supreme than we are is behind all these.

Exodus 20:13 "thou shall not kill" KJV . But the hebrew word rendered kill here is /ra-tsach'/ which means " a deliberate and unlawful killing" "kill without a cause"

MODERN TRANSLATIONS HAVE CORRECT THIS ERROR :

MOST read " YOU must not murder " ex 20:14 NIV, and many others; therefore bringin out the real meaning of /ratsach/ !!!

There is another form of kill /nakah/ ... Used in numbers 35:11 it refers to accidental killing, or any killin thats not deliberate ! Such ones were pardoned .!!

The idea of hell fire may not attract applause my dear but its there. God's ways are different from ours. For him to have allowed it to be this way shows purpose, which only him can best describe. What if all these things(good and ugly, heaven and hell) satisfies his nature? When people try to confuse themselves that God is so loving and for that reason cannot allow hell to burn people forever as written in the scripture i get surprised at such level of self deceit.

Nobody can convince me that a God who created this world knowing fully well that it will plunge from evil to evil cannot punish people in the lake of fire forever as written in the bible. You know why i dont have problem with the eternal damnation concept? Because God made a way out. I dont worry myself with any problem that has solution. Once there is a solution, its no more a problem to worry about.

Here the solution is very very simple- grace/mercy of God. Just rely on it and you are free. Even the disciples of Jesus at a point felt it was impossible to make heaven but Jesus gave them a simple answer- "with men this is impossible but with God all things are possible". Matthew 19:26.

Yes I'm a pretend believer because i dont rob people of their hard earned money in the name of God. I'm not "churchmatic" rather i believe the bible no matter how hard its truth may be. I dont believe in standing on middle ground when it comes to the bible. The bible was written several years ago and none of us alive this day witnessed the events rather we have faith in the power of God to accomplish all that is written there.

Most of the things written there are supernatural events, events that are beyond science and logic and if i should doubt any like you, then i better doubt all. For example I cant doubt the virgin birth and still believe on the resurrection of the dead or believe in the creation of a new heaven and a new earth etc. It doesnt make sense at all.

You keep attacking Nigerians when you are a Nigerian and in Nigeria. Whatever makes you happy though.
