I have been trying to reach the number on that site but keeps going to voicemail cos, it will be so sad to have paid 50k (last year) only to be told I need to pay another Non-refundable fee of CAD$50.00 plus Administrative fee of CAD$50.00 money order payable to the Nigeria High Commission.

Although, I have done my G1 test and would like to confirm if it will be worth the stress (getting this letter from them).

NOTE: I have sent an email since last week, no response yet.

It's only worth it if your nigeria driver's license has been valid for more than 2 years, as that's when it becomes advantageous for you in Ontario. You can also try another driving center outside the GTA with ur frsc extract !

The issue of asylum brings commotion to this thread, greatly. We can't stop people from applying for Canada VV or asylum. It is their life. In fact, show them videos of how rejected asylum applicants are being deported, to them you will appear like an enemy.

I believe creating more awareness on how you can utilize your VV aside asylum would be better than criticizing, judging or condemning those who go for it, after all, it has never brought about any reduction in asylum seekers all this while. In fact, the seekers keep soaring day by day . Some people have the resources to convert a VV to study or go into truck driving but they lack info. Instead, they went asylum route. Some people don't know that even your sibling or anyone in Canada can invite you from any part of the world to take care of their old parent(s) (Personal Support Worker) as long as the host is ready to follow IRCC guidelines and make application payment (IRCC has annual quotas for this). If luck is on your side with your VV you can achieve this, though the chances are slim. But at least you know the option is available because you don't know how fortunate you could be. Remember knowledge is power!!!

Please, permit me to say this: some response of @House34 to @omega2128 aren't correct. Personal support worker and truck driving aren't yet closed currently, so it's another route you can use to utilize your VV instead of asylum route.

In conclusion, there are ways you can utilize your VV, especially when you have the resources which are better than asylum. Asylum is a 50/50 chance but this other routes are almost guaranteed when you package your application very well. Imagine you going for asylum only to face deportation in the nearest future having settled down. That masquerade will face you and you can't run away from it. Imagine again what you would tell your family members and village people who thought you had relocated to Canada only to be deported to start telling them stories that touch the heart . Even if you are so fortunate to be granted......you have left your children's children in the history of asylum heritage that can be a dent to their image. Remember white man keeps records for many generations if they want to keep non racial citizens in the hole. Now thanks to technology.

If you refer back to the initial question, it was based on Visitor Visa (VV) to Permanent Residency (PR) that the gentleman mentioned. The Home Child Care Provider Pilot and Home Support Worker Pilot are different from the psw work route which requires a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) like any other job you obtain inside Canada to apply for a closed work permit with your visitor visa. The two schemes mentioned are not connected with an LMIA and can be applied for from outside Canada because they require WES verification, IELTS scores, and a job offer and it a sure path to PR . People often mix them together and end up paying for a program that is not useful to their current situation . On November 6, 2023, there was an administrative update made by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) that removed National Occupation Classification (NOC) code 73300 for truck drivers from the list of occupations eligible for a certificate of qualification. As a result of this update, truck drivers are no longer eligible for the 50 additional points available to those with a certificate of qualification under the Express Entry PR CRS, so the truck driver route is no longer an easy access to PR and it is also based on LMIA. And as you can see, I said it's closed, but now it's under LMIA AND moreso the truck driver process is not as easy as people say it for a visitor to get the required licences and employment as a new driver in canada . I'm not an immigration consultant, but I pass by 129 Peter Street in Ontario, the Assessment & Referral Centre for asylum seekers, and I hear many stories of the huge amounts people paid just for a visitor visa that could have been used for another route, but they lack information and end up on the asylum route outside waiting for a bed in the over-capacity shelter.i can only hope that God brings healing and guidance to our community and please enough of the insult on the forum and let just share information and exchange ideas.thanks

Firstly, there isn't a detailed list of documents required by the visa officer for a visitor visa application to Canada. It's up to the applicant to present a strong case. I see nothing wrong with including your tax return in the visa application; to me, it's even better than a bank statement, which is what I used to invite my family. Then I added my mortgage papers and car documents, along with a support letter stating they're coming for a visit. I own a house and have a car to drive them to tourist centers, so they won't have to pay for food, accommodation, or transportation. This is usually well-received, and they often get the visa. So, personally, I think the documents listed are ok and acceptable.l even invited my uncle and he didnt even add his own bank statement but l added my tax return as proof of finance.

Someone has already answered your question, but I'd like to add that stating 2 or 3 months for your visit on your visa application is excessive. It's better to reduce it to 10 or 14 days for the purpose of the visa application. This will lessen the pressure on your financial proof, and besides, it's uncommon for a working person to take a holiday for 2 to 3 months.

Now, ask yourself, how many of those YouTuber content creators are registered immigration consultants? Furthermore, that guy in the video is a social worker in the UK who suddenly becomes a Canada immigration consultant on YouTube, talking about easy truck driving routes, when he likely lacks practical knowledge on these issues. For me, I'm not against whatever decision anybody decides to make, but be well informed about the likely outcomes of your decisions, whether positive or negative, so you don't end up on the streets of Toronto or struggling for job or housing then blaming anybody.

My question now is that should i include the leave approval letter for semester break in their application or i should not mention it? because i mentioned i needed a semester break due to unexpected marriage conflict in the course of my absence around my family, which has increasingly been difficult for me to concentrate with my studies and this really affecting my mental health.

Hello, please include it as ur family still applying for visit visa , you can include it in your support letter but u have to also proof it better for your family to come visit then you going to visit them and please document everything becos l notice ircc refuse some pgwp visa based on the fact the student dont graduate from the program within the sitpulated time and in your situation that you now asking for semester break means u will not finish ur program within stipulated time according to ur student permit and also where was it stated that ur family sowp was refused becos you did not include ur bank statement while ur wife account is well funded did you order ur gsms note?

I have a friend in Canada that wants to attend a Private College due to the expensive fees of the public colleges. The private college officials told her she’d do ‘flag pole’ (If I heard that well), that she would be able to get a post graduate work permit this way after study.

Let ur friend check ircc website if the school and course qualify for pgwp and if not that flag pole therory is a liar but just a marketing format by the private college and part reason some student are stranded after graduate from non- pgwp college especially in ontario .you need lmia to flagpole in that situAtion which is not easy !

Anyone can invite anyone to Canada for a visit, and attending your boyfriend's graduation ceremony is a good reason with or without pgwp . However, are you underage and in need of a guardian to fund your visa application and trip? Even if you pay 10 billion to anybody, it still does not guarantee you will be issued a visa; that's my major point. Only the visa officer can decide whether to issue you a visa or deny it, not based on an adult having a guardian or the many documents filled out. Please note that those high success rates during the massive visa approvals do not apply now. So, play your gamble well, and know that your 2 million is often not refundable!

He has 40M in his bank account, he use his own personal company account - Your assets and financial situation are insufficient to support the stated purpose of travel for yourself (and any accompanying family member(s), if applicable).

Order the GCMS note and see what the visa officer stated because sometimes you will be surprised to see the officer's concerns could be different from this generic reasons.

Sir, you forgot that PNPs are selected from the Express Entry profile and also take CRS points into consideration when selecting candidates. For example, if a particular PNP wants to select 50 candidates in a specific field with scores above 350, a person scoring 360 will be selected before someone scoring 355. That's why the 15 points you claim for family as PR/CITIZEN earlier while creating the Express Entry profile could become controversial if you actually have no family proof. Or maybe I'm missing something and need more clarification on this?

Good day, everyone. Please, I need an answer to this knotty question. An Express Entry applicant recently obtained a provincial nomination and got an ITA few days later. This applicant has a sibling in Canada, but they are both not in good terms. The applicant is unsure if the sibling is a PR. The applicant asked, but the sibling refused to declare his status whether or not he has PR. The applicant is not desperate to use the sibling's status in Canada to increase CRS point, but she wants to be sure she's being truthful to IRCC, to avoid being accused of misrepresentation.

How can the applicant navigate this challenge? What if the applicant states that the sibling is not PR, but IRCC records reveal otherwise? Any way out? The sibling is not willing to disclose his status to the sister, talk less of providing her with documents to support the claim later on.

While filling out the Express Entry profile, if you click "yes" to the question "Do you have at least one brother or sister living in Canada who is a citizen or permanent resident?" and you don't know the person's status in Canada, then you should not claim those 15 points. Not everybody in Canada, even after staying for over five years, is a permanent resident or citizen. Some people may remain as asylum seekers for up to five years, moving from one appeal court to another. If you cannot provide evidence for those 15 points with proof that ur sister is a PR/citizen , it could affect the whole application.

Based on your previous post, I see you have a travel history to the UK and you are an experienced traveler. Then, I see no reason why you would go via Montreal if Toronto is your destination, unless your intention is to seek asylum. You can arrive in Canada via any airport with proof of your visit, such as hotel bookings, your funds, and your plan for the trip.

If you try to get an LMIA to change your visitor visa to a work permit, know that it's extremely difficult. As for applying for a USA visa in Canada, you can, but currently, the waiting time for a usa b1/b2 interview is 882 days, which is more than 2 years. So, you're better off applying in your home country than in Canada

You can arrive because with the current accommodation problem in Canada, you need time to settle down and search for accommodation, get a car before school resumes. And that will be your reason at the POE, and the border officer will understand if the airline carries you because some airlines do pass IRCC's self-assessment. Additionally, your spouse cannot work until school resumes as a student and you should hold evidence of your fees or how you plan to pay your school fees. There is more checking of fees at the border now as more students are dropping out of school due to financial issues, as getting jobs is becoming harder in canada now.

The next step is to apply for permanent resident status and mostly within six months, if all your documents are completed, you will be granted the PR. It hurts my heart and I feel sad when I see young Nigerians in canada , even with master's degrees, claiming asylum based on greedy agent advice when all they need to do is take the IELTS and wait in the pool. You cannot convert visit visa to work visa with ielts..as ielts test score requirement belong to express entry category..you need lmia to convert visit visa to work visa.and lmia is extremely difficult now and l will not advice anybody to pay for lmia becos so many other stuff is invloved that thoes selling lmia will not tell u like not every job qualify for PR becos some seller will liar that after working 1 year you will get PR it not true, some seller do not even have job for you then you stranded with a closed work permit and no job ,even after geting lmia u can still be refused work permit.

Why Canada for the property exhibition? Why not the US or Germany? These are very important questions. You can't just wake up one day and say you want to attend a Canadian property exhibition. Regardless of the tens of millions in your account, if you can't justify your wanting to attend a Canadian property exhbition, I don't see the VO considering your application favourably. All indicators will simply point to the fact that you are intending to run away.

Well good point you outline becos foreign commercial enterprises and individuals who are not Canadian citizens or permanent residents are cuŕrently prohibited from purchasing residential property in Canada. The ban is part of the government's efforts to make housing more affordable for Canadians and to ensure that houses are used as homes rather than speculative financial assets .
So the visa officer will want to know what you as a foreigner want to gain from canada property exhibition when you cannot even buy or invest in the property based on the current ban.

Firstly,order ur gsms note and see the visa officer major concern probably the conference not even link to ur work, confrence route is under many focus too as it another route many use to arrive canada and stay illegally or claim asylum so you will need to proof beyond reasonable doubt that the conference is actually of benefit to u or ur business and you will return home after the conference.

Sorry about your loss but you can still appply for visit visa and explain the need to attend the burial of ur sister. And after you submit your application also send a webform to ircc and explain the urgency to attend the burial.ircc do consider urgent cases like this for urgent visa processing it an emergency situation not created by ur fault. May her soul rest in peace.

Ordinarily, no visa officer will overlook mistakes due to rich travel history or amount of visas on your passport, contrary to your opinion. It's a Nigerian way of thinking. They're employed to scrutinize visa applicants and adjudicate. If they just want to be kind to you, they'd reach you for clarification, to prove your innocence otherwise, you'd pay dearly for such errors committed, even if you have all the visas of the countries in this world. 100% correct! I'm a living witness. I don't have to reply every moniker cos our level of faith or belief isn't the same. Some are pagans while some don't even live righteously. Responding to them would amount to a waste of time.

Just yesterday, I picked my passport at the German Embassy for my schengen visa. It was multiple as usual. Guess what? My tax details weren't submitted alongside my application but I prayed for God's favour. They don't joke with this vital document but my visa was approved. I wasn't called to submit it cos that would have meant an automatic refusal. I didn't have a recent one due to some FIRS anomalies.

Again, there was a major error on my biodata as quoted on my Invitation letter by our business partners, which I later found out after I had submitted my application...I believe God and I want Him to deal with me harshly if I'm lying on this. You have visas for the UK, USA, and Canada, and now you're applying for a German visa. It's important to recognize that visa officers are generally thorough and intelligent. With your huge travel experience, they may not overlook much in your application before approval compare to a new traveller . I respect ur faith and ur beliefs are your fudamental human rights but Please refrain from misleading people into negligence on their applications and thinking that prayer will cover errors or omissions. You're right. But that's what has always worked for me as a person. Suffice it to say, God factor has always worked for me. I don't know of others. I had made some costly mistakes which were overlooked. There was a time my secretary filled junks in my IMM forms despite giving her instructions on how to fill them. I give her free access to my computer and permitted her to submit my form on my behalf. It was while i was going through my files I saw those errors. She simply said she was sorry but the deed had been done already. My visa was approved. I do fast and pray, oh yes! That's what works for me. I had a friend back in the days . We used to apply together as students. Mine was approved and I went to school while his wasn't. He was better prepared than I was , with all manners of heavy Bank statements cos his parents were rich. Plenty property docs, etc.

One day he called me and asked how did I go about mine. I told him before submitting his application, he should just pray for favour, just 3 days prayers. He said he had never fasted before but would try His visa was approved, with same documents as those submitted the first time. That time, they used to process students visa in Accra.

He went back a few months later and his visa was approved. I've got more instances and there's no way such things would happen and you'd not want to share.
You can't say its a coincidence. God factor works for whoever can try it.

You making it look like the guy visa was refused because the guy dont pray or fast as you instructed him and had sex with two girls , while you had an authorized person fill out your visa application without indicating it to IRCC, which goes against visa application rules, yet yours was approved. This demonstrates that one's religious mindset doesn't necessarily influence visa application outcomes. Additionally, wealthy individuals who don't adhere to religious practices like fasting and praying can still be successful. Therefore, some explanations regarding visa application success or failure may not be related to religious beliefs. Ultimately, God grants us free will to choose between good and evil, without imposing decisions upon us.
