It is nice the Abiola's are appreciating you. Kudos.
When we told them not to write off the influence of this man in the scheme of things in today's Nigeria, we got laughed at.
Oyegun is the first casualty of Tinubu's Tsunami.
Fashola all of a sudden has gone silent and behaving himself very well. Tinubu is my leader and my allegiance is to you Sir. Why are you always causing fight where there is none? What has Fashola been saying before now that is anti Tinubu? It is in public domain when Tinubu said Fashola take advice more than incumbent Governor. During the recent Lagos APC State Congress where he declared that he will not endorsed anyone. That all are now his political sons and daughters. |

Family › Re: My Sister Got Married Without My Knowledge -- Now They Need Me To Mediate by Housing(m): 12:34am On Apr 07, 2018 |
KOPT33: I am the first son of my father who is now late.
When my father died some 11 years ago, I relocated to Lagos to finish my schooling. I lived with my aunt then but I had to leave their home because I was being abused. Upon leaving my aunt's house, things became so difficult for me but I persevered with my education till I finished my bachelors.
During my lean years, I fell out with most of my family members. My mom refused to speak to me for three years, I was essentially the outcast of the family. During this period, my mom and some elders in our family gave out my sisters hand in marriage.
The couple had a trad/white wedding. Bride price was paid, all the customs of our people were followed save for one: the consent or knowledge of the first son. I wouldn't get to hear about this marriage until six months later. That night, I cried because their action proved that I was nobody, a nothing to my mom and siblings.
Anyways, I kept on working hard and soon became comfortable. I mended fences with everyone in my family, but even at that, no one offered an explanation why things unfolded the way it did or an apology. I didn't make any noise, I just picked up myself and moved on after committing the lessons learned to mind.
Six years and two children later, my sisters marriage has hit the rocks.
Now they're asking me as the first born to mediate and talk to the man.
I REFUSED.
The man (sister's husband) won't speak to my mom or the other elders he had been dealing with regarding a possible reconciliation. My family know me to be a good mediator and peace maker and they are not wrong.
I refused because there is no point mediating in a marriage that was done over my head.
As it stands now, I have no interest in playing head of house or anything of such nature. I send money, I help make connections, I foot bills for everyone in the family but I leave their decision making to them since they discounted me right from the very beginning. I have no interest whatsoever in becoming a leader in that family.
What would you do if you were in my shoes? From your account you fell apart with your aunt, this definitely affects your relationship with your family because they may believed you didn't represents the family very well. Though I could not understand not in talking terms with your mother for three years. Don't believe that you are totally right in the whole happenings. You've forgive them according to your submission. But you have not for go. For the fact that you are one of the most blessed among your siblings today doesn't mean you always be the richest. This is an opportunity for you to right the wrong please go ahead and reconcile your sister with her husband, there and then you can make your pronouncements that their marriage is not yet valid. Use the occasion to right the wrong. It is GOD that crown your efforts many are educated and did hustle more than you do yet are not OK financially. Please be a good leader God had appointed you. If you don't play any role and they both reconcile. What will be your feelings. As for your mother you will never know her value until she is no more. May God gives her longer life. During your years of differences with your family do you thinks she will not always remembered you in her prayers? Even up till now you don't know and will never know her full role in your life spiritually and otherwise. Please remember your Dad and be a true leader. Don't listen to those who are yet to understand what life is all about. |

If is a serviced flat maintenance and repair will be done from the service fees being paid. If not the tenants should stop doing big men and coordinates themselves better. |

Op after the 40% deduction. For example a property valued at N10Million after the deduction you have N6Million to be charged LUC on. What is the percentage rate used to arrive at N15,000.00? Op pease stop spreadiing lies.
This Ambode government is insensitive, that is how he introduced the wicked water bill until which is been challenged in a court of law. Same way he increased land survey rate, for places like Ikorodu, Badagry, Epe and other agrarian Communities from a 180k to 350k. Lagos Mainland like Surulere from 180k to 600k and now survey for Lagos Island and Lekki, Victoria Island, Ikoyi are now N1Million and N1.5Million respectively.
Whenever he introduced the wicked bills and laws he will ensure the media are salient about it, as they are paid to do so you can only read such from media not popular in the southwest. Now that Lagosians are complaining because have been served the wicked LUC bill, you are here again trying to misinterprete, misinform and decisive people to accept the wicked bill. |

DavidEsq: Guilt is a matter of proof beyond reasonable doubt, which can only be done in a court of law. Chukwuma's guilt as u put it can only be determined by a court of law and it is for EFCC to prove it and not to duplicate his trial. It is an abuse of court process, if the same trial for the same alleged offence is b4 anoda court of law. As for the bench warrant. The FHC in Lagos was wrong to issue it on the basis that Innoson Boss held the court in contempt by failing to appear before the court, without first resolving the issue of its jurisdiction to try the matter and to punish for contempt. In a general sense, that is the procedure. However, were wat is in issue is the jurisdiction of a court to make an order in respect of contempt, then the court must first resolve the issue before going ahead to make any order. The counsel to Innoson Boss challenged the jurisdiction of the court to hear the case and and to punish for contempt. Wat shld t judge have done? She shld hav first resolve the issue on weda she had the jurisdiction to punish for contempt, before making the order for his arrest. In Ebhodaghe V. Okoye, the Supreme Court said that "jurisdiction is extrinsic and sui generis in nature and the power of a court to punish for contempt is inherent in the very creation of the court and such powers do not depend on the court's jurisdiction to hear or try the substantive matter and as such, a court which ordinarily has no jurisdiction to try a matter can also punish for contempt". Or even if the court's jurisdiction is being challenged, the court still has the powers to punish for contempt. But the only time a court cannot punish for contempt is "if it is its power to punish for contempt that is being challenged". From the argument of Innocent's counsel, both the jurisdiction to try the case and to punish for contempt were in issue. This is because the counsel argued that the court did not have jurisdiction to try the offence and since it had no jurisdiction to try the offence, it had no powers to make orders. Innocent's counsel is just buying time and results to abuse of court process. How can an accuse in a criminal case file for No Jurisdiction without formal arraignment and taking of plea? It is a straight forward case. |

According to the Holy Quran the Christians are called the people of the Book. We are allowed food given to us by them. Once we are allowed to eat their food why can't we greet them. Many Christians rejoice and greet Muslims during Eider -Il Fitri and Eid-il Adha. We can't we reciprocate that. We are enjoined to reciprocate good with good and be patient and avoid retaliation for bad deeds. I have been on social media defending the Hijab lady Amasa Firdaus and I do adhere to Quran and Hadiths but no Hadiths or Fatwa is superior to the verdict of the Holy Quran. Once Quran allows Muslims to eat their food greeting them should not be a sin. That Hadiths of you are doing like a group you are a member of the group is not enough. As it is not an act of worship but socialization, which is within the confined of the permissible in Islam. |

The issue now is that the landlord has change the agreement showing me unexpected attitude. He told me he needs to buy pumping machine after there was agreement there is water in the house. Infact, he is denied some things to be done in the house and called me to balance the 80,000 before the work continues.
What i observed is that he is trying to use my money to renovate his property. I don't trust him anymore.
please is there anyway i can get my money back because i have lost interest to live in the house. Meanwhile, i video him when paying him. Please Lawyers and human right in the house, what should i do? If you don't want to loose your money pack-in into the apartment and claim possession. Pay him the balance of #80,000. Follow it up with a gentle man written agreement so as to complete the repair and make the apartment comfortable for you. The money spent should be used as rent payment for the period the amount can cover. If you don't apply wisdom you will get your money in piece mill and another person will be the beneficiary of the initial investment and patience. Buhari did not know politics, the NASS swap masses effective projects in 2017 budget with constituency projects. FG claimed no money, releases only 15% of that to the NASS. When 2018 budget was NASS said 2017 budget should run till March 2018 so as to get more funding for the constituency projects smuggled into 2017 budget. Buhari lobby Saraki and Dogara, they promise the 2018 budget will be passed before the end of the year 2017. Alas NASS members only understand language of personal interest. Saraki will argue maturely that there are questions to be answered while the less intelligent like Dino will throw tantrum with uncoordinated reasons. How can 1.1Billion in stamp duties and 300Million expected from NNPC be equal to €5.5Billion. There maybe monies yet to be remitted Dino is just carrying the roles assigned to him in the hide and seek game of getting maximum money for NASS constituency projects. Smuggling in constituency projects into the 2018 budget may not be that easy. After all the Executive have already taken care of themselves towards 2019. Bunch of thieves. |

That is in line with the 2014 revised pension. But some companies are yet to adopt that, that means it can only be 7.5% employee employers giving a total of 15%.
