This happens everywhere, not just Nigeria. It comes from the passion people have for the game and their clubs.

Barca has been 'falling' since 2013 in the eyes of haters but yet we still won a treble in 2015.

After all,Barca went trophyless in 2008 and had one of the worst seasons in la liga finishing third behind Madrid and Villarreal. They even had to play qualification matches before qualifying for the champions league that season cuz back then, only the top two finishers get automatic qualification. Barca lost its best two players at the time (ronaldinho and deco) before the season begun.
Guardiola a rocky manager nobody knew about was appointed and everybody felt Barca were dead especially after putting up underwhelming performances in their first two competitive matches of the new season.
We all know how the season went and ended after that.
Barca remains a big club no matter what and can never be out for too long.
Can't say same about Chelsea though.

Barca is and will forever be a great club.

We were not built on oil money like Chelsea and the likes.
Let abramovich cease being the owner of Chelsea and let's see if you manage to finish in the top 10.

That was a Barcelona team with Messi, Busquets, Iniesta, Xavi, and other top players that made Barca a team to fear. Even Frank Lampard would manage them and win trophies.

You can't compare that team with this new set of players who seem to be taking their coverings under the few greats remaining at the club. Let them leave and you'll know what I mean by decline. For Barca to go two seasons without winning the la Liga and gracing the semifinals of the ucl, then that spells something bad.

As for Chelsea, there's still a ray of hope with the young players around who're ready to play for the badge, and a manager who is tactically sound. The next few seasons will tell.

I never said Barca went trophyless, I was being assumptive. In fact, if we analyze this based on the giants we know Barca to be, then we'll say they're on a decline. A whole Barca dey celebrate Copa del rey, when winning La Liga and UCL back to back suppose be their priority.

If we go trophyless again this season, it won't make me feel so bad. At least they're showing signs of progress with a good coach who met a group of players he doesn't necessarily need. How much more when he gets the players he needs?

As for Barca, their “god” is on the verge of leaving, with Busquets and Pique fast aging. That doesn't spell good for them as a team. In summary, the future is bright for Chelsea, but doesn't seem that way for Barca. A huge fall is imminent. Maybe when the time comes, you can take solace in your past trophies just like your fellow Man United fans.

This is an insensitive opinion. Some people uphold their moral values, especially when it was inculcated in them while growing up. If it's something they hold really strong, then you can't expect them to feel comfortable after going against it.
