Not really a matter of "unattractive" alone but generally poor or underprivileged. I don't know why some people like to treat underprivileged people bad, like if they worth nothing to them. It's bad. Nobody chose the family they were born into when coming into this world. Just because you had yours good doesn't mean you should treat those who didn't have it good in a bad way.

The worst part of it is those people who have little or nothing to boast of are top partakers of this.

I've noticed overtime that most people tend to treat people who are not physically appealing to them, differently from those who are. Of course, people who're classified as "facially ugly" are almost always the regular victims.

They're often treated badly, and are made to feel like it's their fault that they're that way. This can dent one's self esteem, and it's even more sad when that person has numerous abilities. Nobody determines how they look before they're born, and not everybody gets a lucky draw in the beauty lottery. So I don't get why people are treated based on the way they look.

I know some people who'll view this thread are guilty of this. So please with all honesty, can you share why you do that?

Please let's all share our opinions, as well as words of encouragement to those of us who have been victims. There are more pressing issues in the society, but I feel that this is an underrated topic that should be discussed, and could help people going through a tough phase as a result of those treatments.

When something takes the most of your time, and you can't control how often you use it, it's an addiction. It's even worse when it offers little or no productivity. So yes, you're addicted to gaming, and it's certainly not healthy for you since it isn't offering a major productivity. The fact that it helps you pass time and stops you from thinking doesn't necessarily make it any less unhealthy.

I'm in a similar situation right now. Thanks for being completely honest. The feeling of jealousy, as well as other negative emotions made me conclude that sometimes, our thoughts are not efficient enough to control our emotions.
