Utd should be too preoccupied with the fight for 4th and Europa League which is another route to UCL for them. They also have further fixture congestion from missing an EPL match due to League Cup final. I think they will just see sense and wave the white flag on FA Cup. |

Playing as CM in 3-4-3 is different from coming on for a stroll as AM when the game has already been won. Ask Cesc. |

Solanke scored 5 goals in Dutch league and asked for £50k per week. I don't blame him, I blame who gave RLC £60k per week. He's a powderpuff soft striker anyway. Whoever signs him should just pay us our £8m compensation. |

The only youth player Chelsea let go that was good enough was Lassana Diarra, and he asked to leave.
Robert Huth was a good 4th choice CB but you can't keep a young player as 4th choice for his whole career. He needs to go out there and make his career. |

pamcode: lol man i didnt know londoners were this crazy. This one must be street weaned lol. I clicked on the link and saw other videos and God it was bad though some seem to still have their courtesy in place (e.g Bully), one guy there said he was happy he didn’t bring his fücking children to watch the match, Another one trying to be civil said they made Alonso look like he was 25 again. That guy is doing alright off this Arsenalfan TV o. By my reckoning he's getting close to 3m views a week. You collect roughly £1k net after taxes for every 1m views so you do the maths. Even non Arsenal fans watch those guys for the comedy. This is why he likes to get funny characters on the show like Troopz so the videos can go viral. They even have one Nigerian guy called Kelechi on there just for comedy effect By nature, North London has always been an inclusive society so black guys have been hardcore fans of Arsenal since time immemorial. Even when other clubs barely had black fans, they have felt at home at Arsenal. . . including 'road men' like some of those boys on ArsenalTV. |

sinizia: At South Africa 2010 during the quarter-final match between Holland and Brazil, Holland counter-attacked Brazil (who were piling pressure trying to equalize the game which was at 2-1 and therefore commited bodies forward) and had Robben on a 1-on-1 with Juan. Robben ran at Juan with speed trying to sell him the fake outside move of going to the right so that once Juan falls for the trick he'd cut inside and unleash a screamer, but I was shocked when Juan with experience focused on Robben's left foot and stayed on that lane, refusing to flinch or buy the fake move Robben was selling. Robben tried all he could while running at Juan but Juan just kept stepping back while remaining on the left path of Robben knowing fully well that Robben's right leg is useless. At the end of the shakara by Robben when he realized the trick of Juan who was also using that style to delay Robben and allow his team-mates to catch up with Robben, he out of frustration went ahead to cut in into the left side of Juan and Juan easily stretched out his leg and dispossessed him.
Mehn, I was filled with admiration for that Juan nigga. It's on that day I doffed my hat to him. Most of these dumb defenders would've been laid to waste by Robben in that situation. See as you turn one move into short stories by Cyprian Ekwensi. This your story too sweet. You suppose join literature section. |

Dhelake: Have lost any game using 3-4-3 with Fabregas starting?? I don't understand that bolded line. How many 3-4-3 games has Fabregas started? Two. In one of them against City, we looked as vulnerable as ever and were saved by poor finishing. The 2nd one was against Bournemouth who never put you under midfield pressure. If you have job that pays you N1m a month, would you swap it for job that might pay you commission up to N1.5m a month. Right now, Matic is money in the bank. 20 wins out of 25. That is guaranteed salary. Fabregas is 2 wins out of 2. That is commission. I don't want to talk too much about this because my argument is purely tactical, lest ninjas say I am arguing against Fabregas. Go and check comments on this thread when Chelsea was about to sign Fabregas. Some of these same niggas were arguing why should we sign Fabregas when we have Oscar, and I was explaining what VISION really means, and how Fabregas has all of it, and Oscar has none of it. It is on record. So no, I fully know what Fabregas is capable of, and I also know the requirements of Contes midfield. My argument is purely tactical. 20 wins out of 25 ratio takes me to title. I am risk averse by nature. I don't catch HBP over a functioning system. Niggas who could not catch HBP over Mikel and Ramires are catching HBP over Fabregas not playing? Really? How can you catch HBP in a comfortable title win? |

Unlimited22: And you have seen how much Matic has 'helped' Alonso, haven't you? Yes, he's helped Alonso to be our most creative wingback. Helped Alonso to the best defensive record in EPL. Helped Alonso to 20 wins in 25 games. Our whole left-side should have collapsed completely by now if you believe the talk about Alonso, Matic and Cahill all being clueless. . . . compounded by the fact that Hazard is not expected to contribute defensively as much as Pedro on the other side. Men and Women lie, numbers don't. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Ibime(m): 12:31pm On Feb 15, 2017 |
Nihilist: What you will have is in all honesty irrelevant. The Koko is what Conte will have. I would have Fabregas in our current 3-4-3, but regardless of his almost guaranteed assists or goal in all the games he's played so far this season, Conte still feels that a misfiring bean pole is the way to go.
This suggests to me that Conte does not want, need, or really reckon with creative type midfielders in his current 343 setup. Fabregas does not come on as a DM in the 3-4-3. Fabregas comes on as an AM in a 3-5-2 when he comes on late in games to exploit gaps with the opposition chasing the game after we have already won the game with the 3-4-3. Don't equate what Fabregas does as a late substitute with what would be required of him as a starting 3-4-3 midfielder. Give credit to the niggas who won the game from 0-70 minutes, not the icing on the cake. 3-4-3 midfield has no place for Fab4. The midfield is a two pincer movement, left and right. LCM helps Alonso and RCM helps Moses. This is not a case of one sitting and one forward. The two man midfield movement is lateral, not vertical. The attacking is through the wingers and wing-backs. If Fabregas knows he can help Alonso out, he should step forward, not talking about "I'm creative while Kante is sitting". Kante is not sitting for anybody. Kante has job to do with Moses on the right-side. Fabregas job will be to maintain the shape on the left-side. |

Nihilist: Verrati is a dirty player, but so are Fabregas and David Silva. If you play Fabregas with Motta/Rabiot/Verratti the result would be the same. The real koko here is that the real destroyers in that team know themselves. Veratti's main job is to be a playmaker...and that's a role that Conte does not seem to recognise Fabregas and Silva are dirty in the way Paul Scholes was dirty . . . . just because they can't physically make up the ground to keep up with play and are always out of position, so they swipe you from behind. Veratti is dirty in the way Nigel De Jong was dirty. . . . he is not out of position or struggling to keep up with play, he's just a wicked mothaphucka. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Ibime(m): 11:49am On Feb 15, 2017 |
Nihilist: Marco Verrati is not a hybrid of Fab and Matic. He is a playmaker in the mold of Fabregas but arguably not even as good.
Veratti didn't do anything that Fabregas would not have done yesterday, especially with Matudi and Rabiot doing hatchet jobs in that midfield to protect him.
If we sign Veratti today, Conte will still play Matic ahead of him based on 'defensive stability'. Not only is he a Fab clone, he is also a midget. Nobody has the vision of Fabregas since Pirlo, Alonso and Xavi left earth. That is not the contention here. Verrati is well defensively solid. That is the koko. You saw Rabiot and Matuidi alongside him yesterday does not mean he is not a DM himself. It is usually him and Motta sitting, with Matuidi given licence to roam. Hazard knows what Verratti did to him couple of seasons ago in the right sided DM position. |
